Come visit Qualicum Beach located on beautiful Vancouver Island, Canada.
Rest and enjoy in your own private suite and patio; semi attached to back of main house residence. Nestled within a 2 1/2 acre lot, surrounded by woods, hiking /bike trails, creek and a pond. An oasis in nature but close to town amenities, golfing and minutes away from the beach.
-All linens, laundry, Netflix & 58" TV, fast 500Mbps WiFi, gas BBQ, ample private parking included. Unfortunately due to local ordinance we can no longer offer a stove but have provided a hot plate and toaster oven.

Perfect stay

A lovely spot, feels like brand new, with everything you can think of for comfort and enjoyment. The fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room with skylights, fireplace, massive tv and private patio with a view into the woods were so inviting we hardly left!! I would easily recommend this place to family and friends!! Thanks Geraldine and Chris for a wonderful stay...

Great location and perfectly appointed

The bar was set high! This place exceeded our expectations. The host thought of everything. We were happy to find a cooler to pack our lunch as we headed out to explore the area. Check in was easy, directions were easy too. We highly recommended this accommodation!

High End Stay

We were delighted with our stay at this rental! It is ever so clean, private, spacious, and beautifully furnished! The outdoor sitting area is also private with lovely trees for your view. The owners couldn’t do enough to make us feel at home! This is a real find!!

Everything we wanted and more!

The 4 of us had a great stay at Geraldine’s place. The cottage and property were gorgeous and we had everything we needed plus more. The back patio was lovely for morning coffees and an evening bbq. We would recommend this place to anyone visiting Qualicum!

Perfection

Great location with the kindest of hosts. Backed onto a peaceful green zone and beautiful patio. The hosts have the space furnished and stocked extremely thoughtfully, and having the laundry made it the perfect mid vacation stay for us. The suite was impeccably clean and airy... and an easy drive to get to allll the things. Hope to get back there again!

Excellent cottage

My family (two adults, two kids) thoroughly enjoyed our three nights. The cottage was well stocked, fresh and very clean, with beautiful patio area backing on forest. Evenings were super peaceful. We appreciated the delicious lemon loaf on arrival, it was a short drive to town and beach. Check in was easy, and we would definitely come back!

Quality Accommodations

The owners of this vacation cottage thought of absolutely everything to ensure our stay was perfect. Everyone of our needs were met in what was available and supplied. The rooms are all spacious and the outside patio area was like your own private backyard. This was probably the best VRBO property we have ever stayed at.

Tranquil Retreat

This property is located in a very quiet, forested property. It is new construction with a high level of finish and the accommodations are very comfortable and well laid out for guests. The hosts are easy to contact and they are very helpful if you have any questions.

Amazing getaway

Stayed for the week and was as lovely as the last time. The cottage was clean, cozy, and quiet. This is an amazing place that is central to so many attractions. Close to the beach. Top of the line VRBO. Geraldine was amazing and helpful after such a long 2 days of travel. So great....hard to put into words.....just have to stay here!!!

Fantastic stay for our family

We just got home from a lovely week long stay at this beautifully furnished cottage. We would 100% stay there again next time we visit Qualicum Beach. It had all the amenities needed, was spacious for our family of four and had a fantastic backyard for the kids to run around. Geraldine and her family are the most welcoming hosts - we can’t wait to come back soon!

Cute place

Overall we had a great stay. Kitchen is well stocked and the entire unit is new and clean. The knives were even sharp! Both beds are firm! I would have preferred it being closer to the beach or being in a more walkable area.

Experience the Magic

Claymore Cottage is amazing. While the photos are a good representation, you have to be there to truly experience the magic. During our 8-night stay, my friend and I wanted to have some family members who live in the area for dinner. Each time we thought of a dish to prepare, we assumed the kitchen was not equipped to accommodate what we hoped to do. Boy, were we wrong - all the conveniences of home and equipped to put together a lovely dinner. The privacy was exceptional. We barbecued steaks on the gas grill provided, and enjoyed the peaceful outdoor patio. The patio faces an exquisite forested area and is completely private from the main house. The landscaping was recently completed and is very well thought out…can’t wait to see it as it matures. Every morning we awakened to deer and bunnies grazing on the property - such tranquility. The Cottage itself is immaculate and spacious. The large main bedroom has a king bed and double closets, while the secondary bedroom has a queen bed and a large, single closet. There is storage galore and lots and lots of towels, and dinner dishes to serve 12, so you won’t have to run the dishwasher everyday. In suite laundry is available, so pack light. Geraldine and Kris have provided a beautiful sanctuary - a home away from home. While the Cottage is very private and peaceful, it’s just 3 to 5 short minutes from the beach and from the heart of downtown Qualicum Beach. I highly recommend you come experience the magic first hand. Enjoy.
