We checked in easily, the location was exactly what we were looking for which was very close to beaches and the amenities of Cavendish while also having a feel of privacy with a lovely view of the water. I would stay here again.
We stayed sunday to thursday. What a beautiful spot. Nice pool for the kids. Cathy was very friendly. Everything went nice and smooth. Great stay over all.
We were 4 seniors staying in a 2 bdrm cottage. Everything was as advertised. Our hosts were very accommodating. The cottage was very spacious and well equipped. We would recommend this place for a very convenient place on the North Shore.
We came up to PEI from Boston for a motorcycle trip planned about 9 months in advance. It is a beautiful area and after a day on the motorcycle to come home and sit on the front deck have a cocktail and watch the sunset, absolutely beautiful. I only have one complaint. The very first time we flushed the toilet the chain on the flusher either broke or came off, which leads me to believe it wasn't the first time because it happened every time we flushed. until I fixed it myself. Upgrading the flushing components in the tank would be in order.
The property was clean, comfortable and private. You wouldn’t even know anyone was there. The owner answered all messages instant and always asked what she could do for us. The property was centrally located with great spots like Cavendish and Rustico which has amazing food and 25 minutes from Charlottetown. Drive 8 minutes to the beautiful national park and if you like to find random hidden treasures, head to Tryon Lighthouse and New London!! So amazing and only 25 mins from Dreams to Sea! This was a bucket list item for me and I consider it fulfilled until next year!! I will be booking again if they will have us!
Cute cottage with far away ocean view. Sat on front porch and watched the sunset. Very clean with adequate appliances and amenities. Because it was our first time to PEI we didn’t realize that so many restaurants would be closed. But I would stay there again off season as everyone was kind enough to direct us to the places that were open. Going to Anne of Green Gables Heritage museum, birthplace and Green Gables museum was like stepping into a book. Awesome experience. Stayed in Charlottetown a few days and loved excursion with Tranquility Cove Adventures was educational - run by a retired fisherman. Did historical walking tour of Charlottetown booked through Expedia. Great information. Really loved the whole trip.
The cottage didn’t have a lot of kitchen stuff and the king bed was sunken in the middle and so uncomfortable the drive door was broken, and the sign says whirlpool hot tub no such thing they had a pool it was the nicest part of the pool place. For the amount of money they charge you
Would think it was cleaner. The office was horrible too.
Overall the cottage was beautiful. Spacious and open. You could easily have a big family comfortably accommodated in one. It was in a great location. Not even a 5 minute drive to Cavendish! All amenities were provided and the pool was clean and refreshing. On another hand the wifi sucked. You couldn’t get anything to load and it was a 50/50 chance if it was going to load. The shower was clean, the shower curtain was not. The bottom was stained brown and full of black spots. The dishes in the cupboard were not properly washed, we had to wash them all before using. The decks were rotted and sagging. The property had once been very well looked after, but sadly not anymore. There was overgrown weeds everywhere. Broken picnic tables in the fields. Smashed lobster traps that once would have been a nice decoration and overgrown shrubs. There was also a lot of black flies. Our neighbouring cabin also told us they had ants all over their kitchen. All in all I would give it a 5.5/10. I would probably stay again. I’m only leaving the things we didn’t like so they can maybe be resolved! But overall we had a great vacation!
