We loved the spaciousness and cleanliness of this property and enjoyed having access to the comforts of home. The sunset views were magical! Would highly recommend.
Great location for families with kids, house is old but has been updated nicely. If you’re looking for a semi-remote beautiful view this place will not disappoint!
This cottage is set in an idyllic setting with Lake Superior as your backyard. Whether standing in the living room, chilling on the lovely deck, or relaxing around the fire, the lake is truly a calm inducing feature! Add in the loon calls, and it is heaven! The cottage was equipped with everything we needed. Excellent home away from home!
We were a group of 6 staying at this lovely cabin. It is approximately 45 minutes outside of Sault Ste Marie and quite remote. The cottage was well equipped with kitchen amenities and we enjoyed the games room as well. The hosts were quick to reply to my questions and very helpful. Would recommend if you are looking to get off the beaten path and enjoy a Lake Superior sunset.
We really enjoyed staying at the cottage. A well equipped kitchen made cooking meals a breeze and the view is maybe even more beautiful than the listing photos. The games room was a bonus on a rainy day!
This cottage was perfect for our family.
It was well equipped with everything we needed. Comfortable seating outside with a beautiful view of the lake.
Although we didn’t need to communicate with owners during our stay, they were very helpful and responsive before we arrived.
Enjoy our stay very much!

It had everything we needed. The only thing we’d recommend is a water cooler for guests, as the filtered tap water available is very salty/soft and affects the taste of coffee and drinks. Other than that, it was perfect!
Had a great week. Was exactly what we were looking for our week away. Great communication with owners. Clean and comfortable cottage. Would definitely recommend and come again
We loved the cottage, loved the views of the lake. Lots of room for adults and kids. Games room with the table hockey was a hit. Great firepit for evening sunsets and s’mores.
Scott was very good about answering any questions and concerns or places to check out in the area.
Cozy family room with big screen tv and good internet if needed.
We hope to return another summer.
We had a great time on Lake Superior. We got a glimpse of the northern lights the first night and then a snow squall came and clouded it over the rest of the time. The roads were kept clear within a reasonable time frame and we didn't have 4x4. The owner was responsive and great to work with. Our kids loved the games and toys that were provided!
The sunsets were breathtaking. You could enjoy from chairs near the water or from the panoramic windows in the living area. Very comfortable, relaxing, homey and beautiful. Would definitely recommend and would stay again. Thanks for sharing your home.
Super fun stay! Backyard is great for yard games and grilling. Beautiful views and sunsets over Lake Superior and we got to see a rolling fog over the lake, so that was pretty cool. Fun outdoor activities in the local area. Indoors is great, lots of room and sleeping space for guests as well as clean!
We were so excited to stay at this property again! A short. beautiful drive to Searchmont Resort and Sault St. Marie, yet it feels like you're much further away from it all. Both times we stayed here we enjoyed the ever changing winter views of Lake Superior, walking out on the ice, and snowshoeing up and down the beach. The living room/dining area is perfect for our large family to spread out in at night after a day of skiing to enjoy a fire in the wood stove. Comfortable beds, the game room, and friendly and responsive Hosts make this an ideal Northern Retreat we hope to return to yearly!
We really enjoyed our stay! We were there in February so I don’t think there were many neighbors around but we did see a few. Very quiet stay, the stars were amazing at night. We made a fire in the stove each night which was cozy. While there were a few quirks, it is a cabin. Nothing to really complain about, a few areas are rough around the edges. If you’re staying in the master bedroom the hike to the bathroom is a little long in the middle of the night. The kids enjoy playing by the water and all the surrounding nature. Robertson cliffs is a must, incredible view of the area. The nearest store is 20 minutes away, but they have good pizza!
