Our completely renovated turn of the century farm cottage is located in a quaint hamlet at the edge of Stratford - a town known for it's world class theatres and restaurants!

Nestled on almost an acre, this cozy "boho chic" vacation home has transformed into a bright welcoming space for family and friends to gather. With plenty of on-site parking and multiple outdoor spaces to enjoy either morning coffee or a wine under the stars by the fire table.

Our fully equipped chef's kitchen and large dining table with seating for 8. You can prepare a family-style meal or set up for game night! With 2 Roku tv's there is also movie night too!

Venture outside for a casual game of croquet or bean bag toss, followed by S'mores and stories around our fire pit.

For the nature enthusiast you can cross the road and stroll the short walking trail where the old mill once was or take a quick drive to Wildwood Conservation - an area favourite!

With our Boho Chic Cottage you can have both the sights and sounds of Stratford plus the rolling hills that surround it.

AMAZING place to stay!

This property is clean, organized and extremely comfortable, as well as beautifully decorated. This was our 2nd time here and we loved it again. Breakfast being included is a huge bonus. Bedding & beds were so comfortable that we didn't want to get up! Location is fantastic, so close to Stratford. The hosts are very attentive. We're hoping to book again for next winter. LOVE THIS PLACE!

Excellent

We really enjoyed our stay at Carly and James home. It was clean, comfortable, and pretty. There was lots of room for everyone and we had our immediate family Christmas in their home on Sunday. It was so nice to have a full kitchen and living room. They also had a little table and chairs for the 3 little ones. They had many amenities and it really felt like home. They also provided games for the kids and had a Christmas tree. We definitely will stay there again!

Beautiful Home

Very lovely stay. It very quiet, could see lots of stars at night. Also close enough to Stratford to attend events and gather groceries. I was impressed by the variety of breakfast items and snacks. Very clean and exactly as described. Hosts were quick to respond when we had a question.

As nice as advertised

Nice & clean property, kitchen well suited for family brunch before heading into Stratford for an afternoon play. Must have car, closest corner store is several kms away, but there’s ample parking for multiple cars in the driveway. Door-to-door drive to theatres is actually less than 10min

Great place!

We enjoyed our stay very much. There was a lot to do in the house when we weren’t out in Stratford. The location is very convenient. Appreciated the stocked kitchen with everything we needed including some basic pantry items. Highly recommend and would stay here again if we are in the area again in the future.

All the comforts of home and peace of mind

How great not to have to worry about the facilities you are booking. This is our second time booking this cottage and plan to rebook a 3rd time if/when we make it out to the Stratford Festival next year. Great location - so close to downtown, clean, spacious, comfortable beds and bedding, two bathrooms, fully stocked pantry and refrigerator, laundry facility, outdoor patio and so much more. I love this place.

Perfect stay

The house is beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. So many provided amenities like bug spray, sunscreen, tons of tasty food and snacks provided. The outdoor space is gorgeous lots of seating and a fire pit. The host was awesome and very responsive to my needs before, during and after our stay. A very short drive to Stratford. 100% recommend staying here.

Warm and Welcoming

Property was warm and welcoming, meeting all our needs and then some, with plenty of space to visit and enjoy the outdoors. Everything we may have needed was on hand, from umbrellas to games. Hosts were wonderful and responsive and accessing the place was a breeze. We had a lovely family weekend away here and would book again. Located just a quick jaunt away from Stratford was perfect.

Annual college girls get together

We felt like we were home. Loved all the helpful frames information around the home. Very spacious, bright and clean. Communication with our hosts were always prompt. Willing to accommodate any of our needs or wishes. House is located centrally and easy to travel to any of the towns near by. We will definitely be looking toward in rebooking in the future.

Great spot!

Me and my two friends really enjoyed our stay! Clean, modern house, had a great vibe. Kitchen had everything you need, which was great as me and my friends like to cook. Carly was super kind. Loved our stay.

The house was perfectly appointed in a beautiful rural setting. The house was exactly as described and Carly and James left a welcome note, breakfast items and goodies for us. The house was welcoming with lots of seating, inside and out, along with throw pillows and blankets to get snuggle in for the evening. The location was perfect just outside of town but it's still only 10 minutes to downtown. Cannot recommend this property highly enough, we will definitely be back.

My daughters and I had a great time and this lovely house . The host took extra time and effort to meet out celiac dietary needs . So many games to play inside and out , wonderful open kitchen which quickly became the hub of our weekend . Lol

a womderful weekend on outskirts of Stratford

our family truly enjoyed this lovely country Home. it was very clean , and welcoming with a basket of goodies the kitchen was very well equipped to Prepare family meals. we loved the fire table on the back porch. highly recommend this home !!!

Charming, Cozy and Welcoming

Cottage and property are absolutely delightful. The house is tastefully decorated, very clean and welcoming. Everything was thought of, fully stocked pantry and fridge, lots of towels, comfortable beds, indoor and outdoor games, right down to umbrellas and sunscreen. Great location, beautiful decor, extremely clean, lots of indoor and outdoor games to play, large firepit to enjoy, two pretty patio areas to sit back and enjoy dinner and and a beverage on, and owners who are very easy to get ahold of if you have any type of question or request. The patio allowed us to enjoy some great times and create great memories with fabulous friends. Every amenity possible, and thoughtful touches - umbrellas which we needed, tourist pamphlets, bug sprays, great instructions clearly posted, a variety of coffee, groceries and stocked pantry. It was the perfect distance from the Stratford festival, which was the purpose for our visit. The home was impeccably cleaned and well styled. We were very comfortable the whole stay and the owners allowed us feel as though it could be our home away from home.

Just perfect!

We were attending a hockey tournament that was being held in Woodstock, and decided to combine that with some theatre in Stratford. This location provided a central location, as my husband also attended an antiques shop in Woodstock while I made a trip to St. Jacobs (we jam packed that long weekend!). This location made all these activities possible, while also providing a comfortable and calming location for our family to gather outdoors at the end of the days. The hosts were incredible and provided a variety of additional amenities to ensure a pleasant stay. Very detail oriented and thoughtful. In addition, I had to work on one of the days and the internet was more than capable to allow my to video conference into my meetings all day long. Highly recommend; we will be back ourselves!

Simply wonderful

Carly and James have thought of so many details that make one feel at home. From utensils, cookware, tin foil, salt, some staples in the cupboards, the toiletry items we forget or run out of when traveling, to caring comfort items like waterproof blankets for the outdoor deck furniture. Their home is immaculate. Their instructions and helpful advice about the area are so helpful. It was a joy to make the quick 10 minute drive past farms to see our daily performances at the Stratford festival. (It really is a 10 minute straight one road drive to the festival. We arrived exhausted from work and travel. We left feeling rested and restored after a week’s stay. Thank you to our wonderful hosts!
