Cozy gem on the water!
Relax and enjoy this classic cottage experience. This newly renovated gem on Oak Lake provides it all! Oak lake is a fresh spring fed lake, 2 hours from Toronto and 2.5 hours from Ottawa, excellent for fishing, swimming and boating. Enjoy amazing views from the deck and private dock. Ornithologists beware, you will be busy watching all the different varieties of bird life.
The lake house is an all-season with beautiful wood throughout. Highlights: well appointed kitchen, laundry, AC, & fireplace.
There are weeds in the lake. Although the cleaners & I cut them regularly, later in the season, there are some weeds in close to shore. *TIP* Use a pool noodle or floatie to get out past them :)

My family cottage was sold many years ago & I finally found a mini version that’s just right for my family and I. I’ve done lots of work on it & there’s more to come!

What makes this property unique
Other than being literally, right on the water, my favourite feature is the canteen/beach lot that's open all summer. You can go door-to-door by boat - I find that part most enjoyable.
