About this property
Bright and Warm, Luxury Annex Loft
Welcome to our beautifully renovated 2-story loft located in the historic Annex neighborhood of Toronto.
Our cozy and comfortable living space is filled with natural sunlight throughout the day. On the main floor, you'll find a modern kitchen and dining area, with a spiral staircase leading up to the second floor bedroom, washroom, and deck with stunning views of the Toronto skyline. Explore the charming Annex neighborhood or use the Spadina subway station to explore the city.
This historic Victorian home once belonged to a well known local photographer named William James. The lane-way behind the house is named after him, with the house originally used for hosting and celebration of the arts when it was built in 1904.
You will have private access to the entire two story loft which is accessible at the back of the house. Please note to access the unit there is a narrow ally-way down the left side of the house. The loft is located on the second floor so you will have to take a flight of stairs on the side of the house up to the entrance.
The loft has the living, kitchen and dining areas on the main floor with the bedroom, washroom and deck located on the second floor. The bedroom has a king sized bed and the sofa downstairs can be re-positioned into a king sized bed for additional guests.
The kitchen has cups, and electric kettle with Keurig coffee and a variety of teas available. The washroom has a blow dryer, shampoo, conditioner, soaps, and plenty of towels.
You can enter the unit from the main street by going in-between the houses. Note that the ally way in-between the houses is tight. You will also need to go up a flight of stairs outside to get access to the unit.
The main house is occupied by working professionals. The loft unit is where I stay whenever I am not traveling for work. It's unlikely you will run into the main unit tenants as they use the front entrance.

About the host
Hosted by Daniel Code-McNeil

I was born and raised in the beautiful province of Nova Scotia. I travel frequently for work and love exploring new cities.
Why they chose this property
The Annex is a great neighbourhood with some much to explore. Grab Korean food just up the street, checkout the Royal Ontario Museum, or take in the sights of downtown from your balcony.
What makes this property unique
It's a two story loft in the back of our house, newly renovated to have a New York style feel. The spiral staircase always gets commented on by our guests.
