Good location and value

Fantastic location with great staff. Room was well equipped. The sofa bed is not the most comfortable. One of two elevators not working but luckily we were on a lower floor.

Being right next to the train station was super convenient. The FREE bus stops are also right out front which made getting around the main city so easy. Staff were very friendly and even helped us check in much earlier on our arrival day as we got into the city in the am with a ton of luggage. Note: this hotel does have paid bag storage for 24 hr periods in secure lockers Room was well appointed but would have liked a softer bed

One word: “OUTSTANDING” 👍to Jamie (Manager)

Everyone working in the hotel is “Amazing”! Starts from the leadership of Jamie (Manager” of the hotel!). Jamie helped us Check in and out, the process was smooth and quick, he was very attentive and caring; we arrived early after a long flight, needless to say, we were extremely tired, since there was a room available, Jamie was able to put us in the room right away! The act of kindness, consideration and compassion must be mentioned! Thank you Jamie (Manager) of Statecity Aparthotels Manchester UK. The hotel and its staffs and services are “Outstanding”! Thank you Hotels.com for flagging this wonderful Hotel in Manchester!

We used the washing machine/dryer located in the apartment. The machine door wouldn’t open when I was trying to retrieve my clothes. Asked the front desk to send maintenance to help. Maintenance didn’t come. We needed to leave as our train was due. Left my home address to have my clothes sent. I’ve heard nothing from the property. Apparently, doors sticking is a common problem with those machines.

Fantastic location, fantastic stay in general.

Great stay here. Very clean lobby, and quick check in. Room has everything needed for a good stay. The pullout beds in the loving room took up a fair amount of space, but having one out wasnt too bad. Staff were great. I had a couple questions which i asked via Whatsapp, and they were answered within minutes. Washing machine was great. And room was very quiet. We stayed on the 7th floor.

What was great was the ensuite laundry, spaciousness, cleanliness and close proximity to the train station. What was not so great was the check-in process where it had to be done through the phone QR code, and the lack of greeting from front desk. It would have been so much quicker and a better check-in experience if they were to help us.

Great location, literally minutes walk from the train station which has a direct line to the Manchester Airport. If you’re coming for a football match, expect groups to stay here, we had to call the front desk both nights because of noise coming from above at 1-2 am, which was unfortunate. It seemed the front desk did deal with it right away. I bet non match weekends there would be no issues. The bathroom, beds, and apartment itself was great though. Really enjoyed the property itself and the room. The people at the front desk were nice when we needed towels and the remote for the tv didn’t work. This is a very comfortable budget conscious option. If you want to ensure you aren’t sharing a hotel with hooligans though, this wouldn’t be the best bet.

Great space and location

We really liked the space. We initially were in a one bedroom apartment but when we checked into the room there was a strong smokey odour most likely from whatever the previous occupants had cooked. I informed the manager and he promptly put us into a two bedroom across the hall. The space was nice and the room had a full range, dishwasher and clothes washing machine/dryer. We did notice that one of the towels had some large stains on it. Overall we loved the location right next to the train station so not far to walk with our luggage. Lots of places to eat right beside the hotel. I would definitely stay here again on any future trips.

Close to everything, ideally situated beside the railway station, stores and restaurants. Bedrooms a little small, not enough room to get around the bed. Just so you know, staff doesn’t clean the rooms, make beds daily, or restock items needed on an ongoing basis like toilet paper. Staff very friendly however, and did provide needed items when requested A big thanks especially to David at the restaurant, who provided great service and direction.
