I absolutely loved my stay at MOOo by the Castle in Prague. From the arranged pick-up from the train station, to the friendly staff at check-in, to the bottle of Prosecco left to welcome be to Prague, it was just a pleasure to stay at this property. I booked a one bedroom apartment and was put in a ground floor unit facing the street. I was initially a bit worried about being kept awake by outside noise but the double glass windows kept the apartment virtually sound proof. The decor or the apartment is so fun, with the cow motif being used throughout. The rain shower was lovely after a day spent walking through the cobblestone streets and the kitchen facilities were appreciated even if just to keep a few beverages cold in the fridge. The lovely housekeeping team kept the apartment spotless throughout my stay. The location just steps from Prague Castle and around the corner from the highly secure American embassy (they have police checkpoints for all vehicles to pass through), ensures a very safe location especially as a single female traveler. I would highly recommend booking at MOOo by the Castle if you are looking for an apartment-style hotel in the Castle district in Prague. The only caution I would have is that the hotel is located in a rather hilly part of the city, so if you have mobility issues or are not easily able to manage stairs or moderately inclined streets, this may not be the best choice.

Pros: location, spaciousness, excellent new appliances including Nespresso coffee machine, heated towel rack that actually works, heated floor in bathroom, great water pressure in large walk-in shower, two large screen TVs, nice seating areas on couch in great room and around large table, dishwasher, nice fridge, microwave, kettle, new dishes and cutlery. Cons: no elevator.

Superb accommodations and location. Staff very helpful and welcoming. One of the most charming areas and very quiet during sleeping hours. Would recommend to friends who are prepared to use some steps to get to the room-about 15 steps.

Comfortable twoday trip to Prague for a show at O2

This hotel is very well located, close to everything. We were there for a show at the O2 Arena on the second night. We were amazed by the big cow at the entrance and the warm welcome from the staff. The check-in went smoothly. When we entered the room, there were two striking things. First, the good looking of the place with good-size rooms, a mixture of wood and glass, very well decorated, amazing floor and ceiling, modern bathroom, nice beds and couch, and xtra large tv screens. The apartment was perfectly clean. However, the second was a peculiar smell, which is difficult to describe. It was tolerable, but not nice. We thought maybe a mixture of new materials and paint, but then we were not sure. One of us smelt closely the cow-skin made carpet, but that was not it. Nevertheless, our two days were almost perfect. On the sad side, the shower was leaking on the floor, the towel rack heater did not heat up. No instructions about how to use the phone. Could not reach the lobby using that phone!

Absolutely beautiful property located just around the corner from Prague castle, nestled in between cobbled streets. Such a beautiful location and apartment, and a big bonus was the underfloor heating in the bathroom (pwrsonal highlight for me). The staff were absolutely amazing and helped make our stay perfect, they even helped fulfill a last minute request for balloons to be at the apartment on arrival so truly I couldn’t have asked for much more. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a peaceful and quant Prague location. Thank you to everyone at MOOo, we would happily stay here again :) Lina
