Very nice units. Well equipped. Walking easy distance to beach and grocery stores. People are very friendly. We ate at the restaurant on property very good. Used the local bus to go into Lagos convient also walked the bluffs to Lagos one day and walked to another great beach town other direction ( sorry forget the name started with a B) Only one pool operational as construction on other one but it was heated 😊😊 and noise was not too bad. Much quieter town than Lagos but lots of restaurants great beach and easy to get into Lagos

Everything you could ask for

It’s our second time at the Baia da Luz and we will most certainly return. • Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. • Flats are spacious, clean and quiet. • Units contain all modern amenities (washing machine, dish washer, stainless microwave and oven and utensils) along with cable TV and WIFI. • Free underground carpark and plentiful exterior parking if you simply can’t squeeze your vehicle in. • Great location near beaches, historic sites and shopping. I strongly recommend them if you are looking to spend some quality R&R family time in the area.

Great family place!

The overall stay at Baia da Luz was great! The apartments are very new and clean and well appointed. It was very convenient with a baby and the walk to the beach is only a few streets away, very close! We did have one noisy neighbour for a few days but the hotel was really great about speaking to them. The walls are a bit thin so you get used to the quiet and then noisy people really become more obvious.

Lovely Accommodations

The Baia da Luz is a very nice resort offering multiple room choices. We arrived late after a very long trip and the front desk staff were more than helpful in providing information on the area and where we might get something to eat. We booked a one bedroom unit and stayed in an end unit with a loft area and lovely sea view that could have accommodated more than the two of us. Our unit featured newer appliances including a washing machine which was great to have. The proximity of the hotel to the beach and area restaurants was a short 5 minute walk. Everything in the unit was in good working order and when we found there was no coffee press, staff were very quick to bring us one. The cleaning and maintenance staff were always very polite and attentive.

Fabulous!

This hotel is fantastic. Any description does not do it justice - you have to experience it yourself. The rooms are spacious, clean and have all the amenities you could ask for. Location is perfect - far enough away from the busy area of Luz, but just a quick 10 min walk to restaurants and bars. Great beach is just 5 min walk away. Pool area can get crowded, but is clean and a great for a late afternoon swim when it's not as busy. Will go back.

LOVELY

The hotel was located in a lovely part of the Algarve. Luz is a beautiful town near Lagos and the beach is clean with nice restaurants and water sports. The people are friendly, mostly Portuguese (obviously) and British. We found two great restaurants in walking distance. The hotel/condo was spacious and clean with a nice shower, washing machine and dishwasher. We enjoyed breakfast or lunch on the nice patio balcony. The two pools were nice and the pool deck and chairs were relaxing with a view of the small mountain(shoreline cliff with hiking and running trails) nearby. A perfect location and a great condo!!!

Just a wonderful relaxed and enjoyable stay, best apartment we have ever stayed in - huge! Duplex apartment with view out to sea. Spotlessly clean. So peaceful. Lovely swimming pool to laze around, with a separate children’s pool for the little ones. Pool side restaurant with very friendly service, good food and great service - goats cheese salad is a delight! 5-10 min wonder into Luz and the beach. Very relaxed 10 days. If you want more buzzyness, it’s a 10 min drive to Lagos. Loved it, highly recommended.

Unser Apartment in dieser gemischten Anlage (Eigentumswohnungen und vermietete Apartments) fanden wir bei Anreise sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet vor. In der Küche fehlte eigentlich kein Utensil um sich selbst versorgen zu können, wenn man das möchte (wir haben nur im Apartment gefrühstückt). Selbst eine Spülmaschine und eine Waschmaschine waren vorhanden - und für beide Geräte auch die entsprechenden Wasch-Tabs. Die Anlage insgesamt wird sehr gut gepflegt und daher ist auch der Aufenthalt auf dem Balkon sehr ansprechend. Der Weg zum langen Sandstrand oder der Strandpromenade von Luz ist nur 300-400m kurz. Die beiden Supermärkte im Ort sind ebenfalls gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Im kleinen Pool waren wir nur einmal ganz kurz - wir haben lieber im Meer gebadet. Das einzige was wir uns noch gewünscht hätten, wäre ein Sonnenschirm für den Balkon (Südausrichtung in unserem Apartment) - wir haben uns mit unserem kleinen Strandschirm beholfen. Bei unserer Ankunft war die Jalousie im Schlafzimmer defekt und durch eine Straßenlaterne direkt davor kam Licht ins Zimmer. Die Jalousie wurde am zweiten Tag zunächst vollständig geschlossen und am dritten Tag unseres Aufenthalts haben wir sie am Abend repariert vorgefunden. Damit hatten wir so schnell nicht gerechnet. Auch dies für uns ein Zeichen wie sehr die Anlage gepflegt wird und wie Anliegen der Gäste behandelt werden.
