Perfect location minutes from Plaza Major and the Royal Palace. Friendly staff, very welcoming. No coffee in the room, but coffee available in the lobby. There was no ac in April though it got quite warm. The only option was to open a window into an interior courtyard, which was fine except the last night when we could hear a couple arguing very loudly until 1:30 am. No sleep that night.

My home when in Madrid

Iā€™ve stayed in many 4-star chain hotels in Madrid over the years. But, the New Point Opera will now be my go-to accommodation option in the future. I loved the privacy of my room/studio apartment. Was super quiet, very well sound proofed. The room was very nicely renovated, great bed, great shower, solid quality and the well equipped kitchen was brilliant. The staff, reception and housekeeping, were very personable and professional. The hotelā€™s location, by the Teatro Real, makes Madrid really accessible by foot. I bought a week transit pass and never needed it except to go to the airport or train station. I truly look forward to my next stay.

I chose this hotel because it offered airport shuttle, after checking in I was informed that wasn't so, and offered to call a taxi for 30.00 euro. After reviewing the app, I noticed that further down it shows that service was not available at that time, the hotel said that wasn't a service they provide.

Nice to have coffee and tea in the lobby. We have been travelling to Portugal and Spain during this trip and this was the first hotel that offers coffee, tea, hot water. They also have mini muffin in the morning and wine in the evening, a nice touch.

LocalizaciĆ³n es excelente. Muy cerca caminando de Puerta del Sol, la Gran VĆ­a y otros sitios de interĆ©s. La habitaciĆ³n es prĆ”ctica y moderna, pero definitivamente incĆ³moda para 4 adultos. Funciona, pero para caminar estando todos es incĆ³modo. Los empleados son muy amables y siempre estĆ”n dispuestos ayudar. Un poco de ruido cuando limpiaban otras habitaciones y movĆ­an muebles, pero tolerable. No se escucha nada de la calle. Definitivamente lo recomendarĆ­a y reservarĆ­a nuevamente, pero escogerĆ­a una habitaciĆ³n mĆ”s grande si vamos 4 adultos.
