Not recommended if you have young kids and a car. The property was great, huge space and great service. We initially booked for 3 nights but we checked out the next day because we needed to walk 3 blocks for the parking (and it is very expensive) and it is unsafe for kids to walk in and out of the hotel and walk on the streets. It was also noisy the entire night, sirens and loud sounds in the streets. But overall, hotel service was excellent because they refunded us with all the remaining nights without questions asked. If you are travelling solo or without a car. This hotel will be perfect for you.

There was a loud fight in our hallway on the last night that we stayed, the front desk person was fast to respond but it was very unsettling. Window’s don’t seal properly so there was a lot of noise pollution from outside. Otherwise, we very much enjoyed our stay! Great location with walkable food options and very spacious units!

Very convenient location with within walking distance of metro and other public transport. Walking distance to a lot of great sights within the city. The actual location though had a lot of vagrants within the area. Would not recommend walking around at night alone.

Our stay at The Haas had a bumpy start as there were some issues with our reservation and the room we had booked was no longer available but we were given an upgraded room at no extra cost so no complaints on my end! We had a three bedroom unit and it was nice and spacious. There were some limitations on the kitchen supplies that were available but we made do. All of the front desk staff were friendly and a pleasure to speak with. The only downside really is the area but there's nothing that can be done about that. The downtown area is definitely sketchy, dirty, and full of homeless people but it's not too much different from other downtowns in big cities. The same could be said about the noise levels. It's a downtown area and it's going to be pretty noisy at night. The one thing my group noticed since we come from a colder climate, is that their windows are single pane instead of double pane so more noise definitely gets through. Overall, we had a pretty good experience! Very happy with our choice to stay with them, especially since it was within walking distance to the concert venue that was the main reason of our trip.

I’ve stayed in a lot of places but this was the most deceiving one ever. Not what we expected. This was a very loud location that kept us up all day and night because the poor quality windows (single pane glazing). Our one in-house phone wasn’t connected so we had to use our personal mobile devices to contact the front desk. Staff were generally nice - that wasn’t the issue. But if you need a good sleep look elsewhere. Very disappointing.

Centre in DT, nice location with convenience. Easy to connect with Metros. But too noisy in the night. Bad noise isolation. You can hear everything from the street even you are on 8th floor.

The staff are very nice, the area is great with lots of interesting historic buildings nearby, and plenty of places for food, drinks, and coffee. The area is quite safe and is no noisier than any other area of DTLA. I would definitely recommend staying here and if we come back I would book here again.

Place was great, great size, nice decor, clean and well-kept. Staff were extemely nice and helpful. Our room was street facing and it was so incredibly noisy 24/7. Made sleeping and relaxing quite impossible. I would request a room facing away from the street next time. Not the best part of town but I did feel safe with the concierge there 24/7.

Centrally located in downtown LA. Unfortunately the immediate area is fairly gritty and somewhat noisy, but we never felt unsafe and did enjoy our stay and loved the spacious, well appointed loft.
