Honolulu solo vacation

I arrived Sunday night to be informed the pool would mot be open until Friday instead of Monday but they still charged me the $200 for amenities like pool, sauna and hot tub which were closed. I also was informed House keeping is every 3 day and you habe to ask for it. Barley any basic for the so called kitchen. Property is old and needs upgrades

Most standard rooms are small and quite dated with window shaker A/C Units that were quite noisy when trying to sleep. Also our bathroom sink was also our kitchen sink. We were moved halfway through our stay into a one bedroom suite much larger and had standard high wall A/C Units. Staff were pleasant.

very nice and always helpful staff. Very clean and quiet. There is a pool and BBQ area, nice landscaping, fishponds.. Suites are updated, beds comfy. Nice balcony with table and chairs. We also had a small kitchen, which was perfect. Just behind the complex is the Ala Wai Canal and Boulevard- which is very walkable/ perfect for jogging..and within a 2 km walk from Hotel is the Library, a Safeway Store and the famous Leonard's Bakery.

Miss leading as it is older building presented on line as more modern. Had roach problems. Currently reno, plumbing, shower water not hot. Appreciated an upgrade to 28th floor. It had a beautiful view canal, mts & sneak view of beach. Cental location to international market,beach shops restaurants,zoo & aquarium great if your not driving.

Dirty run down hotel

Very uncomfortable hotel. Mattress were sold old they had ruts in them. Overall condition of this hotel was dirty and run down. AC unit when it ran sounded like an airplane in your room. I also watched a man fall from a balcony nobody reached out to see how I was or no update on the nan. Stepped on glass around the pool. It cost more to park the car a night than it did to rent it. Constant issues getting out if the parking lot.

I had to change room to another cause of old air conditioning unit noise loudest noise (73db max) I ever heard. Front desk guy kindly help me out to change the room even it's 1:30am . But unfortunately the other room also has outdated old air conditioning unit . For the first time in years I was really regretted this choice of mine. Don't get involved with this hotel.

Location good, near shops & close to bus services. The pillows need to be replaced. All 6 pillows in our room were flat, & hard. Got 2 from front desk that were a bit better, but still not good. Also had to ask at desk for coffee & sugar. They were out of caffinated coffee for the last 4 days of our stay. We had a few bugs, need some traps or a bug spray in the room.

The staff were fantastic, very kind and accommodating. The room I finally got was good. I hade to ask to get it. The first room was nothing like the picture. Say this when I said something they were very good to change my room. Due to Covid they only cleaned once a week. I think the price should of shown this.

The location was excellent. Close to everything. Easy walking distance to a lot of things to see and do in Waikiki, close to restaurants and food stores, buses or car rentals. The hotel had pool, convenience store with good prices and a laudromat, bar-b-q’s galore. Very good for a family. The only hick was that housekeeping was not always on top of things. They would forget to forgot to provide, soap or coffee or to vacuum. One of the sofa beds was uncomfortable.
