A modernly styled and fully equipped Villa, allowing great Alfresco dinning. The pool was an additional bonus and the location made it easy to reach Cesme & Alacati by car. The local coastline and restaurants were a short 5min walk away. The host Ferhat along with his mother Seviha hanim were wonderful hosts, extremely welcoming, helpful with providing advice on local places to visit and restaurants to dine at. We thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay at this property in Selçuk. It is even better than shown in the photographs. There are several flower filled outside areas so you can chase the sun or shade during the day. The view from the high terrace of the citadel, sea and sunset is a highlight and a perfect place to have a drink to round off the day. Inside the house is well designed to give a bright and spacious feel. Everything provided is good quality, comfortable and well maintained. Arranging through Alison to be met and returned to the airport and being able to keep the car during our stay was so worthwhile. We made good use of it to visit all the incredible sights but the property is also within easy walking distance of the town. Alison was an amazing host, prompt in all our communications and very knowledgeable. It was so helpful to arrive to milk, butter, eggs etc and plenty of cleaning products. Having stupidly left my phone at the house she kindly saw to it’s safe return which was so appreciated. Altogether one of best experiences.

Very peaceful villa, centrally located

We really enjoyed our stay at the villa, it was in a really peaceful location overlooking hills and 5 minute drive from a beautiful little marina resort of Segicuk. I was approx 1 hour from the beautiful Cesme and Alaçatı resorts, less than 1 hour from Izmir city centre and just over 1 hour from Kuşadası and Ephesus. The team supporting us were very helpful, as was the owner who kept in contact despite being in US. The only word of caution - the pool is part of the owners small residence, which we could use. I think it may have been a different holiday if the other property was occupied the whole time. That said can recommend the villa.

A charming villa in a wonderful location

We had a wonderful stay in 'My Stone Home' and can't thank Yesim and Mehmet enough for making it such a relaxed holiday. The villa feels like a home from home, warm and welcoming, each room is tastefully decorated with charm and everything you need is provided for a relaxing holiday. The garden is wonderful, with beautiful mature trees and flowers, lots of areas to sit outside, whether you want sun or shade and a good sized pool. Yesim and Mehmet were both very helpful before and during our stay and looked after us well. It was a pleasure meeting them and we look forward to returning soon. It was also a pleasure meeting Sans, such a friendly, chilled out dog. You don't need a car, the dolmus to Cesme and Alicati is just round the corner as are a couple of mini markets and restaurants. The villa is in a very peaceful area, but Ilica centre and the harbour with it's restaurants and shops is just a couple of minutes walk away. The beautiful sandy beach at Ilica is just another 5 minutes walk and was very clean, water lovely and the large beach not at all crowded. There were also a number of smaller beaches a few minutes from the villa. We went in October, so a few restaurants had closed, but there were still plenty open within a few minutes walk, and a huge choice of shops and restaurants just 10 minutes dolmus away in either Alicati or Cesme - taxis also very cheap if preferred. Alicati was a particularly lovely town to visit with it's traditional buildings, great bars and restaurants, plenty of places to stop and enjoy the scenery. Izmir and Ephesus are also close enough to visit in a day trip. We can thoroughly recommend this villa, it's a real gem and we felt very lucky to have found it! The area is lovely and very friendly, everything you could hope for from a holiday. Thanks again Mehmet and Yesim for a very special stay.
