Do not stop here, the property is unsafe, unsecure and unhygienic
The property was unsecure, unsafe and unhygienic, we chose not to stay at the property and we left less than 1 hour after our arrival, for the following reasons:
Premises not secure as front doors did not lock, the owner initially told us we would have to store valuables in bedrooms and lock those doors instead.
Dangerous, cracked paving/tiles especially around jacuzzi where you would be barefooted.
Dirty jacuzzi full of detritus, yellow water. Instructions within the property stated that jacuzzi and indoor electronics could not be used at the same time
Damaged flue from oven in kitchen suspended from ceiling.
Open shower immediately facing washing machine with exposed electric plug socket,
Toilet seat was broken,
The tap in the kitchen was broken.
Unclean stained mattresses and pillows, beds were old, dirty and tattered.
The owner was aware that there would be six guests but there were only 5 sunbeds which were in poor condition.
The pool water and tiles were dirty.
The whole property was generally unclean, dusty with cobwebs and generally in a state of disrepair.
The sofa was heavily stained.
Glass balustrades surrounding the outside area patio area had multiple cracks and were dangerous.
When we pointed this out to the owner, he asked us to leave.
VRBO initially advised us to get alternative accommodation and that we would be refunded in full.
However they have since refused to reimburse us as we did not give the owner sufficient opportunity to rectify the issues.
