So cute. Loved it. Would stay here again. The pictures didn't do the interior justice. Very nice, lots of character. Not a boring gray hotel room. No wifi led us to watching local Welsh TV, which was great... So many news stories with sheep in the background. Board games provided.
We absolutely enjoyed staying in this beautiful barn converted house. Views are stunning and peaceful. Just what we were looking for a nice, quiet & private family time. The hosts Netty & Jack were very helpful and quick in responding and made sure all our needs were met. Highly recommended if you are looking for a house with a view to spend a nice family time.
Beautiful barn in a fantastic, quiet location. The property is finished to a high standard and the view from the kitchen window is stunning. Easy access to the Brecon Beacons. Would definitely recommend it to others!
The pictures don't do this property justice, it is finished to a very high standard, is very comfortable and cosy and in the most amazing location!
We booked this property last minute as another booking fell through and the hosts were fantastic answering my many questions! They made us feel very safe by taking lots of measures to prevent the transmission and spread of coronavirus.
The view from the garden down into the valley is simply stunning and being joined by the animals on the farm and the farm dogs was a real treat. We was here to watch a meteor shower and the sky was the clearest, darkest sky I've ever seen in the UK. There is very little surrounding light pollution and only minimal noise from a distant road. The bedrooms were beautiful and the beds comfortable.
The kitchen was well equipped and modern, with everything you could possibly need. We will definitely be booking a return trip!
The barn was lovely and has been fitted out to a very high standard - kitchen and bathroom etc all very high quality and provided everything we needed. Very attractive location with easy access to Bike Park Wales and the Brecon Beacons, hosts were extremely helpful and replied to all messages very quickly. Will be back!
The only downside was we were only staying one night! Fantastic location, beautiful house and so comfortable with everything we required and more. Would 100% return.

I am a sheep farmer in the Brecon Beacons National Park. Ysgubor Bach is a wonderful home from home place, which is kept immaculately clean by myself and family.
Why they chose this property
Ysgubor Bach has direct access onto the Brecon Beacons National Park and is only approximately a 2.5 hour trek from Pen Y Fan, the highest mountain in South Wales and Southern Britain. Ysgubor Bach is surrounded by countryside and nature but less than an hour to Cardiff, the capital city.
