Lovely house in Plockton

What a great find, 26 Harbour Street is just around the bay from the Plockton Hotel, so a good bar and restaurant was only 2 minutes walk away! The house was lovely, well furnished, a lovely Aga kept the house warm. All the bedrooms were well appointed and all 3 bathrooms were of a similar standard. We had our 2 dogs with us and the boot room was ideal for keeping them contained after walks. I was a little reluctant to write this review because I would rather keep this little gem to myself - however credit where credit is due. Compliments to the owner of the property.

I was holidaying with my Mum and two friends which meant that we all had a bedroom each.

I was holidaying with my Mum and two friends which meant that we all had a bedroom each. The cottage was in a fantastic location and having the garden opposite mean that we could enjoy a glass of wine whilst sitting looking out across the bay. The cottage itself was extremely cosy once we worked out how to use the storage heaters and how to put the hot water on. Instructions would be helpful. The wardrobes need to be aired as some of the rooms smelt damp. Also most cottages I have stayed in have a welcome gift which again I think would have been appreciated even if it was a pack of biscuits. This said we had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend this cottage.
