Villa Playa is a magnificent villa situated in front of the beach in Palma de Mallorca on a plot of 1.200 m2. 10 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes from the city center, is located in an ideal location for a relaxing holiday in Mallorca with all amenities at your fingertips: quiet and safe, with a street of restaurants of all kinds (the one in front of the house is Villa del Mar), bars, and 2 supermarkets 5 minutes walk.

With breathtaking views, Villa Playa has a large garden with pool with sun loungers and a balinese bed to enjoy the sun on the island. It also has a front and rear porch with a table tennis table. It has a poolside barbecue for meals and holiday dinners and 5 bikes to enjoy the promenade along the bay of Palma whose bike path runs right between the villa and the beach and going right allows travel 10 km going by the cathedral (km 5), and going to the left also about 10 km to get to Arenal. Close has a bus stop (15) that very often in a few minutes takes you to the center of Palma. It offers free internet access, heating, air conditioning and a cot and baby chair. Access to park your cars inside.

It has a very cozy part, with a dining room, with direct access to the pool and two double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The other part is more modern and has two double rooms and one single, a kitchen with an island and direct access to the terrace, a spacious living room with a balcony overlooking the sea from where you can watch the sunset at dusk. and an upper terrace with chill out. It also has Wi-Fi and air conditioning.

Furthermore, it also has got 4 TV's, 3 of them with satellite TV to watch international channels, 2 washing machines and a two dryers, filtered water...

For more than 6 guests there is an additional charge per person per day.

Lovely villa!

Lovely well-equipped villa. Very welcoming and helpful hosts. Perfect location on the beach. A short walk to bars/restaurants and supermarket, and just 10-15 mins in a cab to central Palma. Our group of 8 had a wonderful time.

Fabulous villa, great location

Owners welcomed us with Prosecco and delicious pastries. Very welcoming family and nothing was too much trouble. Very communicative via VRBO, WhatsApp and email. The villa was a short 15 min taxi from the airport and Palma city was only 20 mins in the car. Location is right on the beach and has fabulous outlook. It’s a well appointed villa that’s actually two houses with every thing you could possibly need. It was a pleasure to stay in their lovely home and there are plenty of fabulous restaurants close by. Eroski and Lidl just 5 min walk. Definitely recommend and we will be returning. A definite 5 star accommodation .

Fabulous villa in a wonderful location

We are a family of 10 celebrating my husband’s 70th birthday. We had 2 teens, a 2 year old and 3 month old baby so finding somewhere to keep everyone happy was a task. This villa was absolutely perfect! We were greeted by Bernat and Miguel who could not have been more welcoming with drinks and local delicacies before showing us around. The villa is not a holiday rental but a beautiful home. It has everything you could possibly want. The swimming pool is fabulous and provided many hours of fun. The lovely sandy beach is literally over the road. We will certainly miss our morning dip! There are so many seating/sun bathing/dining areas that you never feel on top of each other but also so many areas you can all sit together when you want to. You really don’t need a hire car as you can walk to so many lovely restaurants. We had our birthday meal at the Bungalow and it was really special. Salt baked Sea Bass and Paella were wonderful and all overlooking the sea! We also caught the number 35 bus which is just outside Lidl. Palma is in one direction and Playa de Palma in the other where you will find no end of restaurants. We just had the most amazing holiday and can’t wait to return. Thank you Bernat!

Great family holiday

If you are looking for an exceptional family villa next to the beach, you have found it. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival by the owners with drinks and delicious food followed by an informative tour of the extensive property. We wanted for nothing during our stay as everything was more than adequately supplied. The children were thrilled with the pool and thoroughly spoilt with the clean beach just across the road, where sand castles galore were built. Villa was very well situated with shops, restaurants and childrens play area just ten minutes walk away. Our grateful thanks to the owners - Bernat and family for making our stay at their beautiful villa a very memorable family holiday and hope to return again one day.

Amazing villa

We had the most amazing stay at Bernat and Marga’s beautiful villa. Both hosts were so friendly and accommodating, offering drinks and pastries on arrival and allowing us to drop our backs whilst waiting to check-in. The villa has everything you could possibly need, plenty of crockery and glassware and stocked with essential supplies that we were able to use. The garden and pool area are lovely, with plenty of places to lounge and eat outside. The location is perfect, virtually on the beach and supermarkets, bars and clubs restaurants are all in easy walking distance. Would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Palma. We’ll definitely be back!

Surprised how wonderful it was and it worked out well with the 2 houses and so close to beach and our hosts were delightful even taking our family to the airport when they couldn’t get a taxi My only concern was the sundial which is very sharp and our little granddaughter grazed herself on there one day and the steep stone steps in house No 2 to upstairs area very dangerous for small children and no indication of depth of water in the pool and we kept getting green stuff gathering round the pool which stained all of our swimwear

HOME AWAY FROM HOME! AMAZING

Honestly don’t know where to begin.Bernat and marga were wonderful hosts. Upon arrival at the villa the whole family was greeted with a cold drink and cakes ( which by the way were delicious). After being shown around we were left to settle in. The villa is made up of 2 houses together. House 2 was modern and house 1 a little more traditional. Both lovely and perfectly equipped with everything you could possibly need for the the duration of your stay. There was air conditioning throughout also which was great as we were staying in a humid 34/35 degree heat. The pool was just the right size and the hosts provided plenty of towels too. There was also an outside shower and toilet which we found very convenient .As we spent all of our time outside both in the day and at night, it really helped to have so much in the way of seating. Lots of different places to sit or lie and relax and again lots of shaded areas to protect us from the sun too! My son loved the Bali bed. The villa had stunning views of the beach and was situated so that all you had to do was walk out of the villa gate, cross a path and there you were! Was within walking distance of lots of shops and supermarkets so we were able to stock up on food and drink very easily. Restaurants, there were too many to choose from, but the ones we went to catered perfectly to families. It really was a home from home and one we could find no fault in! Beautiful villa, perfect location, and the most wonderful hosts!! Thanks

Great Holiday 2019

The property was exactly what we needed, right next to beach with swimming pool and great accomodation, two kitchens as two seperate houses so twice what we needed which meant that the family could co-exist without feeling we were in each others pockets so actually perfect for large groups as we were 8 7 Adults and 2 Children, Owners made everything work from letting us check our luggage in early and leave late to even helping us with mundane details such as booking taxis, they bent over backwards to make us feel at home, nothing was a problem, we could text or email them and they would get right back to us. The arrival explanations and a lovely touch of some Cava and traditional Majorcan cake went down very well, excellant first class hosts, we had a super time and would recommend this to anyone, location, facilities and in fact everything was perfect for us.

Perfection

We stayed here in June 2019 as part of a family holiday. 10 people in total, including 4 kids under 3. We can not recommend this place enough. Perfect location to Palma old town and a nice location right next to the beach. The property is perfect for families and very spacious across both houses. The owners did everything for us including providing us with 3 cots, 3 high chairs and a bed side for our 3 year old. We had a small issue while there with a door but the owners took care of it and had it fixed within an hour. I can not recommend this property enough. We will one day be returning I'm sure. Thank you once again

Fantastic villa, great location

We had a great holiday. There was plenty of room for the 8 of us and we loved all the outside space especially the pool. The villas were clean and very well equipped. The location next to the beach, close to ice cream bars and places to eat, as well as the local supermarkets meant we did not need to hire a car. We enjoyed using the bikes provided to ride along the path next to the beach. We would highly recommend this property.

Fantastic family holiday

We were a family of eleven with ages ranging from sixty to a one year old baby, the villa is extremely well equipped and spotlessly clean, the pool area and terraces are equally well presented, perhaps a hand rail into the pool may be a good idea, any minor issue was immediately dealt with and the owners and management do everything in their power for you to have a nice relaxing break.

Didn't want to leave!

I went with my family as a group of 11 and we could not have had a better time. There was acres of space to be able to relax by yourself, and loads of entertainment on offer like ping pong, PlayStation, TV, bicycles, board games, Lilos... the list goes on. Stunning villas which were really well equipped for cooking etc, great location and thoroughly enjoyed the roof terrace which offers all day sun. Will definitely try to return in the future, thanks so much

Perfect location and spacious villa and gardens

Property was very exciting to arrive at as the photos just give you a taste of what to expect, but in the flesh, it's really special. So big, comfortable and well equipped. We didn't need to bring, shampoos, conditioner and shower gel, plus the welcome treats arranged by the owners were lovely! The location is perfect for the beach, cycling or walking along the coastal boardwalk which stretches for miles in each direction. The two small beach restaurant opposite were good for an inexpensive lunch/dinner and one does breakfast, but there are some lovely restaurants on the front going in both directions, our meal at The Portixol Hotel was our favourite and worth booking a few days ahead.

Whatever you do - Stay here, it's amazing!

Whatever you do, stay here! My family and I had an amazing stay at this house in june. Laura was easy to communicate with in the period before arrival and answered all my questions. At arrival she made sure that we had a nice welcome as she met us in person with cava and cake. The house was absolutely perfect, with modern and classy design. It is situated at the beach, and a 15-20 min. bike ride to Palma centre. It is several bikes at the house, so you'll have everything you need. The house did not lack a thing. Very well equipped with everything from beach chairs, toys, kitchen tools, barbeque, pool, ping pong table, sunbeds etc. We vere 6 adults and 1 child, and still 1 bedroom we didn't use. Nice and big, with several different hang-out zones. The house is also very child friendly with possibilities to put up a fence around the pool. One thing that is not so well communicated in the ad, is that the house is divided in two separat parts, one older and one modern and luxurious. Both parts were great though, with good standards. The older part might be a bit more child friendly as the modern part has a steep stairway without handles (very nice though) :). I would absolutely reccomend this house as it kept its promises, and looked even better real life than the photos. Laura is an amazing host and took good care of us. I will definetely come back as soon as possible!

GREAT LOCATION!

We were a family of 9 (9 months to 64 years old) from The Netherlands staying in Villa Playa in May 2016. The big plus of the villa is the location. Absolutely perfect! The beach, the boardwalk, restaurants, car rent and bike rent (if you need more bikes) and supermarkets nearby. The really great city Palma 15-20 minutes away with bicycle or 45-50 minutes walking distance (very nice walk). As for the villa itself. We were at first a bit disappointed, because it’s not one villa but two separated houses with no connection door inside. Both houses are very well equipped and clean. House nr. 2 (the modern house) is absolutely 5 stars. Tastefully decorated and a lot of space. We believe house nr. 1 (the old house) is between 3 and 4 stars, because it’s smaller, has less luxury ambiance and there were ants in the kitchen. We had to keep all food in the fridge. So totally for the villa 4 stars. I know I’m fussy, but not intending to be negative. Everyone in our group, young and old, had a wonderful time! We all enjoyed using the swimming-pool, bikes, table-tennis, pool toys, barbecue, etcetera……………. Laura gave us a warm welcome and the owners are very kind and service minded. Really great holiday!

Excellent villa in a lovely location

We were a family of 10 staying in the villa. It is situated only 20 mins from Palma airport and we received a very warm welcome from Laura and the owner. The villa was very well equipped and clean. We spent slot of time by the pool relaxing and the beach is very nice just across the road. Palma is easy to get to either on the bikes provided or you can take the bus. There is an excellent butchers nearby and we had a lot of barbecues. We would highly recommend the villa and would return. Thank you for making our holiday so nice.

Extremely positive stay in the house

The house was fully living up to the description and even exceeded our expectations. We were three generations (2 years old to 70 years old) staying in the house. We were well received and all instructions given. The house was very clean, and well arranged with all necessary equipment available.. We only needed to purchase (supermarket 200 meters away) and cook the food. The swimming pool was wonderful and most time was spent here even though the sea is only 50 meters away. The bicycles was used for several trips (3,5 kms) to Palma. The response to questions and service was very fast. It was an outstanding positive experience and we will without hesitation recommend this house to others (family, friends etc.) and we have allready considered to come back to the house Very satisfied guests

Fabulous sea view villa with large pool area

We were 6 adults and four children between 4 months and 70 years who spent a fabulous week in this well planned, relaxing and tidy Villa. When arriving at the Villa, after our flight from Stockholm, we were welcomed by the rental manager, Laura and the Landlord who served something to drink, local pastry and showed us the property. This was appreciated and a perfect start to the week. The Villa is just by the ocean and 50 meters away is the boardwalk and a sandy beach. The days were spent around the pleasant pool area which was quite large so all could be there at the same time. A very popular activity was to take one of the many bikes that came with the Villa and go for a ride at the boardwalk to the city Palma. Palma was less than 30 minutes away with bicycle. There are plenty of historical sites in Palma and the church La Seu must be seen. You will also be more than satisfied if you like shopping or just like to stroll in the old town, have a coffee or something to eat. Everyone in our party, young and old, were delighted with the stay and I can really recommend the Villa. What really made this Villa stand out were the kind and helpful owners and the rental manager, Laura.

Fantastic villa, great neighborhood

We have stayed in lots of nice places all over the world, and are very careful about finding the very best hotels and vacation rentals (we are fussy New Yorkers), and I will definitely say Villa Playa is right up there with the best. The positive surprise was how nice the neighborhood is - authentically Spanish (I don't recall seeing any non-Spanish tourists), with excellent seafood restaurants (recommend casa fernando) and bars within 5 mins walk. We were 5 adults and 2 kids. We all enjoyed the pool, the outdoor grill was great, the different outdoor eating areas were perfect, the different parts of the villa for sunbathing (seating area in the shade or a lounger in the full on sun) gave a choice whatever your preference was. AC was excellent throughout. The more modern part of the villa is very tastefully decorated as is the older part of the villa, which gives a separate equally fully-equipped kitchen if you need (we all just used the kitchen in the modern part of the villa). All the beds, bedrooms and bathrooms were spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. The villa is 10 - 12 mins taxi ride or bus journey to Palma (or very nice 30 min walk) if you want to visit a really great city (we prefer it to Barcelona). The beach opposite the villa is not crowded like other beaches and there was Kayak and Paddle Boarding available. Equipment in the house is great - lots of pool toys, plenty of bikes, full-size outdoor table tennis. Finally - Laura (who welcomed us) and Bernat (owner - who we met when ever we needed help with anything, which was not often), are wonderful people. Their only concern is that you have a great holiday. They truly could not be nicer people.
