About this property

The apartment is bright located in a quiet street leading to Bellosguardo - an area of Florence located on a small hill from which you can admire the splendid view of the oldest part of the city. It is located on the ground floor with a private garden of 60 sq m.
It consists of a double bedroom, a single bedroom, a twin bedroom, two bathrooms with shower, a fully equipped kitchen.
Upon request the double room can become a double room.
You can find all the comforts: such as independent heating, air conditioning, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, washing machine, iron and ironing board, two hair dryers (one for each bathroom), bed linen, blankets, pillows and towels.
The private garden is equipped with every comfort: a table with chairs, a small sofa, three deck chairs .... it is the perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing, to dine in peace or to sip a glass of wine .
The quiet, safe and risk-free garden is the ideal place for families with children.
For children up to 3 years I provide a camping cot complete with sheets and blankets.

IMPORTANT: from 1/2/2025 the tourist tax of the Municipality of Florence is EUR 6,00 per person per night (maximum 7 consecutive nights). Children under 12 years old are exempt. Payment in cash upon check-in. A regular receipt will be issued.
Upon arrival, EUR 50.00 in cash is required for final cleaning. Regular receipt will be issued

Excellent property in an lovely location

The location and the property were excellent. The host was fabulous with excellent communication and showed much appreciated flexibility when one of our party was unwell. The outdoor area in summer was ideal and very much appreciated

Lovely flat with very helpful host

We spent a very pleasant week in Florence staying in this property. Communication with Sonia was excellent over WhatsApp. She greeted us at the flat even though it was 20:00 by the time we arrived and gave us lots of useful advice on local shops, restaurants and transport. She also helped us book a taxi back to the airport at the end of our stay. The flat is about 15-20 minutes walk from the centre of Florence. It’s in a quieter area, but still near supermarkets and with a good choice of nearby local restaurants, which seemed to offer better value than the ones in the centre. The outside space was larger than we expected and was a pleasant place to sit outside or have a meal. As you’d expect from a ground floor courtyard garden, it’s overlooked by the balconies of other flats above. The flat was well equipped. The air conditioning worked well even though it was over 40C for part of our stay. The internet speed was excellent, there was plenty of hot water for the showers and the solid walls meant there was no issue with noise from other flats. Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable.

Perfect location and a lovely host!

This property is the perfect base for Florence. It’s close to the centre, but away from the crowds so you can relax together. It’s very spacious and has a lovely, comfortable outdoor space The facilities are excellent, the beds are comfortable and the apartment is cool. Sonia is so friendly and welcoming- honestly can’t recommend enough!

What a Gem - Wonderful

We stayed for a couple of nights in the apartment with our 16 year old son - absolutely no complaints- everything you need for your stay and to make you feel at home - clean and toiletries available - Sonia met us and explained how everything worked and left us basic things like water etc and a lovely bottle of wine - she explained how to get to all the sights and it really wasn’t far to walk - lots of lovely restaurants close to the apartment and Carfour mini mart very close - nice bar just round the corner where they had live music - apartment had aircon that worked well and a lovely outdoor space - highly recommend and if we visit Florence again I would definitely stay again 5 stars from us

Superb!!

We had a lovely stay in this super apartment! Sonia was a wonderful host, couldn’t have done more. Everything was was spotlessly clean and the apartment had every facility possible- the air conditioning was such a blessing as we stayed in August. The apartment is in a lovely quiet part of Florence with a supermarket close by and easy access to the centre. This would certainly be the first place we would try and book when we next visit Florence- thank you Sonia xx

Sonia is very helpful

The weather was not the best when we stayed in Florence, but UK residents are good at adapting! The ground floor flat was very clean, tidy and well equipped. The beds were also very comfortable. The area nearby has a handy supermarket and the restaurants only used by Italians, which is just what we wanted. It was easy to catch buses from the nearby bus stop once we had worked out we had to buy tickets in advance from the libraire. The walk into the centre of the city took 15 minutes along uncluttered quiet back lanes. Sonia was always available by mobile to advise and help us out. When we arrived at the train station my app wouldn't work so we phoned her to ask how to get to her house. She advised walking and suggested googlemaps then texted her address taking all the panic away. All in all a good spot and a very friendly hostess.

Amazing place! The rooms were lovely, and the courtyard was perfect! Sonia was the best host!

Could not recommend this property any more. Just got back from a 1 week holiday with my in-laws and 5 month old baby. The rooms were lovely, but for me the key part of the property is the courtyard. We ate in the courtyard most evenings, and it had plenty of shade for my baby to play in. The property location is ideal, far enough out to not be too busy/noisy, but close enough to walk to most places. There’s a local small supermarket which was fab to buy all the ingredients for our meals, an amazing gelato shop and pastry shop all in short walking distance! Also some lovely restaurants too! For me, the key selling point for this property is Sonia. I had read some reviews before the holiday about how helpful she was, and this put me at ease about my first holiday with my baby. She was fantastic! So helpful, gave us plenty of tips on how to get about and where the best places are, and even arranged taxis for us to attend a wedding we were going to. She was so friendly, it really made the stay perfect. Thank you Sonia for making us feel so welcome!

Wonderful apartment for great visit to Florence

Our family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers knew from the moment we arrived we were going to have a great stay in Sonia's apartment. Sonia gave us a great welcome explaining all about the apartment and giving us great advice on local restaurants, supermarkets and getting around Florence. Sonia is such a great host. The apartment is exactly as described and the location was great as it is only a 10-15 min walk to centre of Florence. Plenty of space in apartment and the courtyard garden was a nice place to relax after a busy day sightseeing. We would highly recommend a stay here and if we return to Florence we would certainly stay here again. Great host. Great apartment. Great city. Thanks Sonia

Top quality apartment in a great location

Really clean and comfortable apartment in a great location and as described. Very short walk to supermarket, bars and eating places (less than a 2 minute walk). The centre of Florence was only a 10 minute walk. Everything you could need and a very friendly and informative owner who also makes an excellent Tiramisu! No hesitation in recommending this apartment to friends and family.

Absolutely Fabulous!

I can't say enough good things about Sonia and this apartment. First of all Sonia herself - what a lovely lady! She met us at the parking garage down the street (where we left our rental car during our time in Florence) and walked us to the apartment. She oriented us using a map of the city and pointed out all the nearby restaurants. She thought of literally everything from showing us how to use the washing machine to the shampoo in the shower - she even gifted us a bottle of wine. The location of the apartment is AMAZING and one of the main reasons I chose it. It was a short, easy walk to the river and then across any of the bridges to the famous sites. The neighborhood restaurants are great, especially the one right across the street. The gelato by the park was fantastic and the perfect place to stop on the way home. The apartment itself is cozy and had exactly what we needed - two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a dining room and sitting room, plus the lovely patio. My husband and I were traveling with our adult daughter and her husband, and there was plenty of room for all of us. The heat/AC were perfect and the wifi worked great. We felt very safe with the two locked doors to get into the building and then the locked door to the apartment. If you are planning a trip to Florence this is the place to stay. Nice Apartment, Great Location, Helpful Host

The apartment was in great condition. Easy to access on the main floor with a lovely private courtyard. Several grocery stores are within walking distance and we were able to stock up on food to make meals in the kitchen. Host Sonia was very responsive to our questions before arriving, gave us lots of info on our arrival, and even booked us a taxi to the train station the morning we left!

Amazing Stay in Florence

My family truly enjoyed our stay at Sonia’s apartment. She greeted us with a bottle of wine and provided us with tons of great information - including some lovely restaurants. She even helped us book a couple of taxis. The apartment was lovely and fully equipped with everything we needed.

Family Holiday in Florence

We are a family of 5 (2 Adults, 3 Teenagers) and stayed 4 nights in Sonia’s apartment. What a wonderful experience! Sonia was there at checkin and went through all the things to do with the apartment in great detail. She also recommended many great local restaurants and things to do around Florence.The apartment itself was very clean and configured to 3 bedrooms and the 2nd bathroom made the stay very comfortable for our family of 5. The outdoor courtyard is also available, but we didn’t use it much as it was winter and cold.The apartment is very quiet and the location is close enough to walk easily into town and all the main attractions. The bus is also just outside the apartment.Overall, a great place to stay in a quiet neighbourhood and would definitely stay again when in Florence. Thank you Sonia for your hospitality!

The helpful and graceful host made sure we were comfortable and went out of her way to assist us We had to change the length of our stay which was done easily and graciously Our host met us on arrival to run through all we needed to know and made several useful recommendations of places we needed We even got a home made tiramisu as well as a welcome bottle of wine plus other goodies

L'appartement de Sonia est très bien situé dans Florence pour visiter la ville. Il est parfait pour les familles avec les 3 chambres et les 2 salles de bain. La terrasse est très agréable également.
