Gorgeous location, charming property

We ended up booking this spot at the last minute due to our other spot cancelling at the last minute. Because of that there seemed to be confusion and the local manager of the property having been ill. So when we arrived the cottage had not been cleaned from the previous visitors. We worked with Sykes Cottages and after a lot of mis- communication when they said they would call back or email but did not do so, we did finally get to check into our cottage the following day and were reimbursed immediately for the other place we stayed. We loved this cottage- spacious, well-equipped, comfy beds, but most of all the absolutely gorgeous view of Loch Alsh. We could not stop staring at it and taking pictures in all the different light and types of weather. The only draw back was extremely weak WiFi - but we found that to be an issue in many places in this remote area so we survived. We loved our stay in this historic building.
