Perfect Villa for extended family

We were a group of 6 adults and 4 children and this villa suited us perfectly. Plenty of space.We hired a car and there is ample on street parking near the villa. Heated pool was a massive hit and the kids spent hours playing in it. Only issue is the heat pump is near the pool and main outside area so the full noise does get irritating.Would recommend to family and friends.

Stunning week in Tauro

A fantastic property for a quiet family stay - lots of room for 5 adults (it would feel cramped with more than 1 family). Tauro is a very quiet area and close to all amenities. The villa is gorgeous, especially the pool area. The kitchen is poorly equipped and needs more.

Villa Lucia

Fantastic two weeks in Tauro, Gran Canaria. Viila is superb, easliy accomdated our 2 family party. Puerto Rico within easy reach with beaches, night life and bars, also Puerto Mogan, with its picturesque old town is 10mins away by taxi. Communication with host is first class so all in all a 5 star experience.

Just perfect

What can i say, i was nervous on arrival as i had been the one to book the trip to this villa for a group of very good friends. I neednt have worried !! From the first step through the garden gate it was obvious this beautiful villa was JUST PERFECT. Every room met our needs wondefully. The outside space is where we spent all of our time, it was fabulous and the pool is fantastic. Ricardo was our point of contact and we found him extremely helpful and informative. We had regular taxis into Puerto Rico which averaged around €6.50 one way, not too costly when a few of you share. Some building work going on by the villa but it never bothered us just made us more inquisitive. A short walk down the hill will take you to the Spar shop, and to Tauro beach. The whole process of booking ,checking in and staying at this beautiful villa was seamless. I would highly recommend this beautiful villa for family groups its "JUST PERFECT "

Villa Lucia

Had a wonderful week at Villa Lucia with the whole family. There plenty of room for three families. The tables were large enough for us all to eat together and were ample good quality sun-loungers. The villa had everything we wanted including a beautiful heated pool. The location was very central and easily accessed. I would recomend this villa to anybody.

Great villa

Had a wonderful stay in this villa. Communication was great. Only thing was the utensils in the kitchen could do with being more equipped. Overall would definitely return!

Great place for family holiday

Lovely place for family holiday, you do need a car if want to get out and about a lot, although cabs are really cheap. Our greeting with Richard was easy handover & he was so wonderful to run us to nearest supermarket for essentials & even offered to do trips if we wanted to see more of island. Villa is as pictures, could do with a little updating / TLC but reliant on renters also taking care of it. All amenities you could wish for. Nice tauro grill just down the hill - lovely food & entertainment

I would have given 5stars overall but the lack of amenities around the area is the only reason I didn't. Its clear to see that some places have closed due to covid etc so we hired a car and got around that way, I would definitely go again and recommend this villa to anyone

Amazing

We stayed for 2 weeks in August and the villa was amazing, we couldn’t fault it. Had everything we needed. Taxis were cheap enough to get around. Spa was close for all the essentials, we did go Dinos in Puerto Rico for a big shop and got a taxi back. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again.

Fantastic family villa

A fantastic property beautifully presented. The owner couldn’t have been more helpful. Our party of 10 had a fantastic time. Very quiet and peaceful area. Well stocked Spar only a 10 minute walk. Lots of space in the villa.

Fantastic Stay - Loved the Villa

We have just returned from the Villa Lucia where we stayed for 2 weeks over Easter. I cannot rate this villa highly enough and would seriously consider staying there again. Everything from booking to villa handover was really smooth and Ulbado and his team ensured all our questions were answered quickly and without hassle. We had four adults and 6 children at the premises and the children loved it. The bedrooms are spacious and the whole premises was immaculately, spotlessly clean. Tauro itself, is a very quiet residential area and the nearest shop was a 10 minute walk away which is a well stocked Spar. We did hire a car and it certainly helped but to be fire taxis were cheap. For example, a taxi to the nearby Amadores beach was only 5 euros. The nearest beach is a 20 minute walk from the villa and a 30 min walk back (up the hill). This is a relatively small beach with little or no facilities (no sun-beds, water-sports, shops) but there a couple of bars and actually it was quite a cosmopolitan experience. If you want a beach with lots of amenities it is taxi or car. The only reasons I would not give the villa 5* is 1/ It advertised a hot-tub - there is not one there 2/ It is quite away from the beaches (however that is what you may want) 3/ The area is being quite heavily developed with new apartments and premises. Do not get me wrong - I am being really picky here. We had an an amazing, relaxing, sun soaked holiday in a beautiful villa where the biggest decision was which sunbed to pick. The children loved it, we loved it and I would definitely return again in the future. Well done Villa Lucia!

Nice villa

We had a nice vacation in Villa Lucia. The pool and terrase area is very good. The neighborhood is very peaceful and you are close to a good walking path up into the mountains. The villa itself had good and less good points. Overall everything in the villa is working but very worn. The decor of the villa is also quite special but some might like it. The bedrooms are generally rather small. The main bedroom has a very strange feature that the acess to the bathroom is through a closet. We never understiod the purpose of this. The propertty is serviced by a company. Generally the service was fine, but at one point they failed. The first night when we were to go to bed we found out that 2 of the beds lacked the sheet under the blanket. The blankets were old and did not seem to be washed after each rental so sleeping without a sheet was not a pleasant feeling. The next morning we called to the company doing the servicing. They said they would look in the store room for more shets and then bring some. Late in the afternoon that day no sheets had arrive and we called them again. We were then told they had no sheet in the store room but would get sheet back from the laundry the next day and we would get 2 sheets delivered the next day between 11 AM and 1 PM. Thus we had to sleep the second nights witout sheets in 2 beds. The following day we waited but nothing happened, at the end of the day I called but did not get a reply. I then sent a text message and got a message back that there had been a misunderstanding and they had not received any sheets from the laundry due to a carnival. However they would bring us sheets the next day. Thus 2 people had to sleep a 3rd night without sheets. The following day something broke in the room with the pool pump and filter which caused water to poor out and flood the room..We called for urgent assistance and 2 pool people arrived quite fast and also brought the cleen sheets. It was fantastic that after 3 nights with missing sheet on the 4th night all could leep in s fairly clean beds. Thus all in all we had a nice vacation in this villa, but for the quite high price we paid I would have expected a better standard in the villa and I would have expected clean sheets on alll beds and thus only 3 stars.

Great home for a Family get together.

50th Birthday week with Family. House, great, Weather, Great, pool kept us all cool. What more can be said, 8 people sharing a Villa that gave us space and privacy and fun in the sun all together, everyone loved it. The BBQ was used 3 times and we all loved it, the kitchen had everything we needed, the beds and bedrooms were all comfortable, and the showers adequate and the location in Tauro was ideal, close enough to and far enough away from everything. Ages from 14 to 71 would all be more than happy to visit again. The decor may need a little TLC, but that is all. Very happy 50 year old.

Fantastic location, poor customer service

Villa Lucia is located a short drive from the beautiful Amadores beach and Puerto Rico (water activities). There is a good Spar and local restaurant nearby. The Villa has a lovely terrace area on 2 sides with plenty of outdoor furniture and a good Barbecue. The pool is small but nice and well sheltered from the wind. I would say the villa is more suitable for 10 than the advertised 12. The rooms advertised as having 3 singles have pull out beds leaving no floor space when in use. The bedding and pillows need replacing. The cooker door was broken so we stopped using it. The kitchen is well stocked and a welcome bag with wine and biscuits were left which was a nice touch. Unfortunately, from the first night, the power kept going. The mains blew every time we plugged in an appliance. The technician said it hadn't happened before!! After 3 visits from the technician 3 consecutive and lots of emails (during which time he managed to turn off the hot water) I gave up and we made do as best we could. We had further problems towards the end of our stay which were not handled satsfactorily either. Hopefully these were resolved before the next clients. We had a fantastic week in Gran Canaria and Villa Lucia but this was spoiled by the problems mentioned above.

Spacious and relaxing villa

The villa is very spacious. There are three bedrooms upstairs and two bathrooms, one en-suite. Downstairs there is a separate area with two more bedrooms, a bathroom and another toilet with washbasin. This is good for two couples or two families as you have your own space. There is a large kitchen dining area and a separate sitting room. The outside of the house is lovely with terraces and gardens all around the house. There is a covered veranda around two sides. One side with dining tables has good views to the sea. The other side has sofas and chairs and looks out on the swimming pool. There is also an upstairs terrace with views to the sea. The swimming pool was lovely and heated to just the right temperature (you pay extra for this) There is a built in BBQ and we had some lovely lazy BBQs around the pool. The garden is very secure but is somewhat overlooked from a nearby path. The house would be very good for families as the owner has provided many toys, wendy house etc. I have only given it 4 stars because I feel the inside of the house lets it down a bit. The kitchen was looking very tired and some of the furniture was poor –rips and tears in chairs covers etc . The lighting was rather poor and also the bedding. If it is really going to be described as amazing and luxurious the inside should match the lovely outside. Nevertheless I would still recommend the villa for a lovely relaxing holiday

Great place for vacation

We had a great week in this beatiful villa. With family in three generation and the youngest ones only 3 and 1 years old, this was a perfect place. We spent the whole days in the heated pool and in the private garden. Almost every evening we barbequed and enjoyed the wonderful sunset! A lot of activities and toys for the kids! Ubaldo arranged the transfer and met us on arrival to the house.When we e-mailed some questions we got a quick answer. Everything went very well! I can warmly recomend, Villa Lucia

Great Villa

Indeed an amazing villa. We enjoyed our stay very very much. Ubaldo is very helpfull and kind. The kitchen is great, very well equiped, and a lot of things you normally have to buy the first day were already there (oil, sugar, salt, even kitchen paper, etc etc). We were surprised that it was so very quiet in this district. The pool was great, the pool shower even better! Five stars!

Very nice villa in Tauro

The villa have so much space even a big family or friends. Bedrooms are so faraway from patio,kichen and living room,so there is quiet to sleep. House was clean and well kept. Ubaldo was very nice,even leave us a present(unfortunaly we were out for diner). In 5 minuts walk is Spar and restaurant. Realy near the golf couse.Taxi in Puerto Rico only paid 5 € for 6 people,so its easy go there for dinner. We would recoment this lovely house for big group. We had a great week in villa Lucia.

Nice clean Villa, Ubaldo was very polite and helpful owner.Big villa and nice terrance.Sun shines hole day to terrance. Well cared pool. Car is useful, and taxis are cheep. I can recommend this villa for big groups 6-10 persons.... 10- points !!

Nice specious house.

The owner was very friendly and we have spent a lovely week in Tauro.The heated pool is only heated when you pay extra. We were with 8 adults and 1 baby. I don' t think that the house is big enough for 12 people (then some will have to sleep on convertible beds). The description says 4 bathrooms, there are 3 and a shower near the pool. In only one of the bed rooms is air-conditioning, but it didn' t work witch wasn' t a problem for us because it wasn't very hot at night. I think some of the furniture (especially beds) need to be replaced by new...

Amazing Villa and wonderful place

I stayed at Luxury Villa Lucia with 7 adults and 4 children in the party. The villa itself sleeps 12 very comfortably with 3 double rooms(2 in suites) and 2 triple rooms . We were pleasantly surprised by how spacious and clean the place is, we had so much room we didn't know what to do with it! The decor is lovely and there has been no expense spared with the fixtures and fittings which makes for a very comfortable stay. Living room has a big flat tv with dvdplayer and a lot of films and I enjoyed playing board game with my friends. The garden/pool area is well kept and has an amazing seaviews and golfcourse views. The villa is set in a pretty residential area near a golf course and beaches and in amongst some very pricey accommodation. Villa has a wonderful warm pool very large beside barbacue place and covered terrace. Ubaldo was an incredible host, humble, kind and generous and show us important information about Tauro and Gran Canaria. I would definitely return to Villa Lucia and will be recommending to family and friends. Thanks to Ubaldo for the help, advice and hospitality.

One of the best holiday ever

The house is brilliant, very big and in a quiet area, although very near to the beaches. The outside areas are excellent for a relaxed break with the kids and the rooms are big with plenty of bathrooms for the whole family. I went with my sister's family and my parents and we had plenty of space for all. There is a supermarket nearby, within walking distance, and a lovely beach 5 minutes driving. The owner was excellent and very attentive and we even had cake and wine on arrival! I would go back there every year!

It is a luxurious villa. The house is very large and comfortable and you can enjoy having a barbecue while you see the ships at sea. This house has the best views in Tauro and it is unique. You will not see another villa as wonderful as this in Gran Canaria. The beach and the golf course are just minutes away.
