Christmas at Cavedale Cottage

Overall the property was as expected. However, I learnt 4 days before my stay that the Aga cooker was not working so a table top oven with 2 burners was used as a replacement. Fortunately I had booked Christmas lunch at a nearby hotel as it would not of been possible to cook a Christmas meal on the limited appliance. My husband and I are both over 65 and we found the stairs extremely steep to climb up and down. We also had a couple of issues with the heating but Helen came round within 10 minutes to sort it out. Perfect location for the village and the wonderful walks!
