Caravan
Upon arrival the caravan was very cold, despite some heating being on. I telephoned the manager and advised him of this, suggesting that an electric heater would be appropriate (this message left on voicemail at 19.05.)The manager's wife rang at 19.40 and apologised for not calling back sooner as they were out for a meal. They agreed to bring a heater to the caravan. However the heater could only be plugged in, if the heaters in the two spare rooms were off otherwise the electric would overload and trip the main fuse box. The next morning at 7am, the power tripped off as I was boiling a kettle and my husband put the light on in the bathroom. We were plunged into darkness, my husband had to go out in the freezing wind and reset the tripped switch. Just before 8am it tripped off again as I went to the bathroom as my husband put the television on. The double bed consisted of a mattress which overhung the bedbase by 6 inches on one side and there was barely enough room down the sides to get into bed.
None of this is acceptable in 2022.
