Beautiful cottage, very clean and well maintained. Great location for exploring

Beautiful cottage, very clean and well maintained. The steps in the garden are very steep so you’ll need to take care. The cottage is in a great location for exploring and the village has a variety of eateries and delicious take aways to enjoy. I would definitely recommend this cottage.

We had a lovely 2 night stay. The location was perfect and there are some great local pubs with food- People are really friendly. The cottage is beautiful. Need to take care in the shower as very slippery. Would book again! Thank you.

Nice, comfortable cottage with good location

We enjoyed our stay there very much. We arrived in late November and were delighted to see Christmas decorations in every room. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. Our host was very responsive and eager to please. We would definitely stay there again if going back to Woodstock.

Excellent cottage for a weekend away

The location is amazing for a weekend trip to Woodstock and Blenheim. The cottage itself is well kept and in perfect condition, with enough space for 4 people. The property manager was flexible with our check-in and check-out times and always replied straight away with any questions we had.

I would recommend this cottage, comfortable and in great condition. Good location for walks and exploring the Cotswolds, with fantastic pubs and restaurants. Watch out for the parking restrictions.

good accommodation

The house was well equipped, in a good location. easy parking up the road, very quiet neighbourhood, literally 5 min walking from the free entrance to Blenheim Palace estate (just for the gardens, not to visit the palace).

Beautiful cottage

We had a marvellous short stay at Blenheim cottage. It was spotlessly clean, beautifully presented with a very good range of crockery, pots and pans. It was absolutely perfect for the two of us and our two dogs.

A delightful cozy cottage

We had a lovely stay at Blenheim Cottage, which is in an excellent location in Woodstock. The cottage has been well thought out and is beautifully decorated. The information email sent before arrival was excellent with lots of recommendations for local pubs and restaurants. Thank you for a lovely short break.

Excellent location

We had a relaxing few days staying at Blenheim Cottage. Very well equipped, log burner, fantastic bath & shower ! Great location, able to walk into Woodstock & eat at a variety of restaurants & pubs. Within walking distance to Blenheim Palace and gardens. Be careful with the steep stairs, it is an old cottage with gives it's lovely cosy feel. I would highly recommend this cottage. Thank you Kirsty for your excellent communication

Lovely cottage, excellent location for Woodstock and Blenheim palace

Lovely cosy cottage as described on your website. Sitting room only has seating for 3 adults but obviously sleeps 4 quite adequately. Parking is a problem in as much as restrictions are in place so have to park around 8 minutes walk away in popular car parking space. Overall though a lovely holiday stay and would recommend to friends and family.

Weekend stay

Lovely location and the place is very clean. However, the sofa is absolutely tiny. My partner and I found it very uncomfortable to sit on. There was also no hairdryer which I think is a basic requirement. Communication was also quite slow.

Cosy cottage

A small cosy quirky cottage in an ideal location. Few minutes walk to Blenheim Palace and it's free estate walks and Woodstock town centre. Lots of excellent pubs, eateries and interesting shops. Ideal place to spend Christmas week. Parking restriction made things a little difficult but easily found recommended parking 5 mins up the same road and did not need to use car every day as happy to stay, explore and enjoy locally most of the time. Many thanks to Kirsty who could not have been more helpful.

Relaxing well equipped bolt hole in pretty Woodstock

The tastefully decorated cottage is in a quiet road , within a short , up hill walk to Woodstock , with its pleasant restaurants, cafes, and welcoming pubs. It is very well equipped and the welcome hamper was a nice surprise. The communication was excellent and the photos of the property are very accurate. We enjoyed our week’s stay there and would definitely recommend it. The recent parking issue is a downside. Ok if you want to leave the car , in the unrestricted roads ,and use the efficient bus service. But a nuisance if you want to explore further afield ,as parking is at a premium . We did the former, making full use of attractive dog walks in Blenheim park.

Perfect little cottage ideally placed for a short stay in fabulous Woodstock

Blenheim Cottage is a perfect and quirky little cottage . Beautifully decorated and furnished with everything you need for your stay in Woodstock. The stairs and low beamed doors along with the undulating floors ( due to the age of the cottage) add to its charm although would not be suitor anyone with mobility issues or young children . The bathroom with its large shower is a dream . The little garden although up some very steep steps , was super to catch the afternoon sun before heading out for the evening. The cottage is in a great location on a quiet road but within easy walking distance of Woodstocks , shops, pubs and restaurants and it’s namesake Blenheim Palace. The only downside is parking - thanks to Oxford Councils newly implemented parking restrictions, which means you cannot park outside the cottage during the day and spaces within the centre of Woodstock are limited and time bound - we saw a large number of vehicles ticketed during our stay . But thanks to Kirsty who manages the cottage and her advice we were able to find suitable parking where we left our car for the duration. This did not stop us enjoying our time at Blenheim Cottage . A real treasure of a place.

Good base for exploring

We stayed at Blenheim Cottage in Woodstock for a week this August. The place is a good base for exploring Blenheim Palace, the Cotswolds and Oxford. The Cottage was clean and cozy, big enough for two people and it seems to still have some authentic features like the windows. It also has a lovely garden, accessible via a steep staircase. Furthermore there was enough parking space up the road. Upon arrival we found the necessary basics like tea, coffee, milk, salt and pepper and cleaning supplies. Alas there were no tea towels. The bathroom was clean and spacious. There were two big fluffy bath towels and one small towel. Those towels were for one week. Luckily there was a washing machine in the shed just outside the house. We used the bedroom on the first floor and the bed was comfortable. As it was very warm that week we slept with the windows open as the Cottage has no airconditioning. Because of the thick walls it was always rather cool inside. All in all Blenheim Cottage is lovely place to stay.

Perfect location for Blenheim Palace

A cosy cotswolds cottage with lots of charm. Perfect location for exploring both Oxford and the Cotswolds and right on Blenhiem palace doorstep. Plenty of places to eat on evenings or great little kitchen for cooking a meal in the cottage. Only concern was that the staircase is very steep and uneven so would recommend only for families with older children and older persons to be very careful.
