The Gatehouse is a delightful, thatched cottage enjoying a rural location resting close to Axmouth near Seaton in Devon and sleeps six guests in three bedrooms. Two dogs welcome
Amenities: Oil fired central heating. Electric oven, grill and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine/tumble dryer, hairdryer. Smart TV, Bluetooth speaker, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Allocated parking for 1 car, additional on-road parking nearby, subject to availability. Large gardens to rear, lawns, shrubberies, furniture. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 1.6 miles, pub 0.4 miles. Note: There are steps leading down to the gardens at the rear of the cottage so please bear this in mind when booking. Note: Due to the cottage being thatched, fires are not allowed in the open fireplace. Please note when booking this property the front door has restricted height.
Town: Seaton is a seaside town in East Devon on the south coast. It faces onto Lyme Bay, to the west of the mouth of the River Axe with red cliffs to one side and white cliffs on the other. Axmouth and Beer are nearby. A sea wall provides access to the mostly shingle beach stretching for about a mile, and a small harbour. Seaton is on the stretch of Devon coastline, known as the Jurassic Coast, a designated World Heritage Site, and the town offers a good range of shops, friendly cafes, restaurants and pubs.
