Corncrake Cottage is a charming cottage resting near to Leverburgh on the south west of the Isle of Harris and sleeps six guests in three bedrooms.
Amenities: Underfloor heating with electric stove fireplace. Electric oven and grill, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, slow cooker. TV with Sky and DVD, three TVs with Freesat and DVDs, iPod docking station, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Highchair and travel cot. Ample off-road parking. Surrounded by water, Leverburgh is known as a fishing port and the village boasts a number of fantastic cafes and restaurants and just outside the village is Sam’s Seafood Shack which offers a delicious selection of locally caught fish and seafood. While you are in Leverburgh you can stock up on essentials at Harris Community shop and there is even a store selling local tweed, Borrisdale Tweed. Nearby attractions include the dramatic coastline at Bagh Steinigidh and Nisabost beach, the North Harris Eagle Observatory at Meavaig and woodland walks at Ardvourlie Woodland.
