We enjoyed staying at the cottage in Luston. There was lots of room for us and our two friends and we enjoyed having a bathroom each. Our bedroom was spacious and the bed comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and there was room for four of us to sit at the dining table.
There are lots of places to visit e.g castles and manor houses which are just a short drive away.
Our hosts Amy and James made us feel welcome.
Beautiful cottage and location with wonderful hosts
Our stay was absolutely brilliant. We couldn't have asked for more in terms of the thoughtful touches (including a delicious bottle of fresh apple juice from the orchard which was much appreciated and enjoyed) - and the cottage is immaculate, very well equipped and peaceful. Thank you so much, Amy (and your lovely family) for a perfect few days. We will definitely come back! Ursula and Tim Tavender
Very spacious and comfortable high quality property. Window latches were rather wonky and it was annoying not being able to open 2 of the windows in the front bedroom. We appreciated being able to turn the cat in the owner's entrance as there was little room for manoevre at the property. Excellent provision of maps and local books. VG centrr.
The property description is accurate and The Folly was very comfortable and the bottle of the house apple juice was very welcome. Nicely placed for visiting local attractions. We had a very relaxing break. Thank you.
The property was very well appointed amd while compact it was deceptively so and a perfect size for 4 adults. Great that both bedrooms were ensuite. The host was really helpful, provided a wealth of information
This is a lovely property which is exactly the same as the listing shows. It was immaculate and clean. We had a great stay here and would highly recommend it. Thank you
I stayed at the cottage with my husband and daughter as she is looking to buy a property in the area. Our host Amy couldn’t have been more helpful. She gave us lots of information on the area and all her recommendations for food were spot on. We had the most comfortable stay and our beds were very comfortable. The living area was great and spacious and the kitchen had all we needed. We’d definitely love to go back and stay again.
I cannot recommend this property high enough. The actual accommodation was spotlessly clean and was fully equipped with good quality items providing everything you could possibly need. Very comfortable beds with fine cotton bedding and large fluffy towels were provided. The information sent prior to our visit was extremely comprehensive and Amy, our host, was friendly and welcoming. The addition of a log burner and Christmas tree was an added plus.

We had a lovely relaxing stay.
Peaceful cottage was very spacious and spotless.
Lovely and cosy with a fantastic log burner and good supply of logs.
Excellent property.
A very nicely appointed house with excellent amenities including IPlayer, Netflix etc available on the tv. - very welcome when the weather is bad!
Our host was pleasant and helpful and gave us a huge amount of information on places to visit and where to eat in the area.
Amy and James have created a great holiday home. Everything you need on holiday is provided, very well equipped home.
There are two lovely bedrooms with en-suites. Very comfy beds and plenty of drawer and hanging space. We’ve had a great couple of weeks (with a gap in the middle).
Lots to see in the area, both Ludlow and Leominster are interesting market towns to visit. Amy sends plenty of information beforehand so you can go well prepared.
Thank you for a lovely holiday and we will be back.
This is the best holiday home we have ever stayed in. Beautifully decorated and furnished and in a wonderful rural setting.
Our host, Amy,responded immediately with a few queries we had at the beginning of our stay. The Folly is in an ideal location to explore the surrounding area.
The Folly has been beautifully converted and Amy and James have thought about everything you need for a comfortable stay. Great location for exploring, We walked from the house to Croft castle which was well worth a look including a beautiful walled garden. Ludlow nearby is a lovely town to explore. We enjoyed meeting the hens in your very pretty back garden! We Hope to come back for longer next time.
From the minute we arrived and saw the property we knew that we had booked the right place for us. Amy and James welcomed us to their beautiful cottage. Absolutely wonderful. Sotlessly clean with everthin that we needed for our short stay. A very comfortable house with a lovely garden. Cannot fault it. We have stayed in lots of self catering cottages and apartments and this is probably ' number 1'. Well done Amy and James. We do intend returning and staying longer next time.
The property is exactly as described and we very much enjoyed our stay. Communication with the owner was great and we were given a warm welcome on arrival. Property was clean with everything in very good condition. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you might need. The owner has gone above and beyond with little touches that make all the difference.
The property provided everything for a wonderful few days break in a beautiful area with so much to see and do. Lovely host and the pear juice was delicious.
The Folly is a beautifully situated cottage, excellently appointed and comfortably furnished home from home - we wanted for nothing during our stay. The garden (and adjoining orchard) are lovely. The property owners are genuinely thoughtful and considerate hosts who were an absolute pleasure to deal with. We will not hesitate t stay there again when next visiting the area.
A charming cottage, meeting all the needs of a quite weekend away. The beds, furnishings and utilities, including log burner, made for a great relaxing base to explore the area. Views from rear windows look over gardens and orchards. Sheep being herded past the front door will stay in our memories too!
Amy is a great host. She made us feel very welcome and provided lot of useful information about the local area, places to visit, recommendations for dining out. The cottage is delightful. Situated in beautiful surroundings it’s quiet, very comfortable and clean with good quality linen and towels, a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and great water pressure in the shower! We could happily live here! We’ve stayed in many holiday rentals and the Folly is up there with the best of them. We would happily stay here again.
We felt welcome as soon as we arrived. The property is amazing everything you need is there. I spoke with the owner Amy & told her there was nothing else she could do as every thing was perfect thank you for our fabulous stay hope to see you again soon.
