Sunny, welcoming house, comfortable with spacious garden and gated pool. In quiet residential area , car not necessary 10, 15 minutes walk to the center of Cascais, 15 minutes walk to the sea front and beaches.

.Local bus stop seconds away at the end of the street , one stop in to the center of Cascais , buses run regularly.

Small local restaurant 3 minutes walk from the home , local supermarket with bakery 6 minutes walk from home , pharmacy and local cafes all 5 minutes walk away .

Dear guests.. ....please note that i live in the basement flat of the property , you have your own entrance i have my own entrance , it is very private all my reviews are with me staying in the basement flat .

My windows do not look out on to your space , the garden is super , very private with tall hedges .

I like to be invisible , unless you need help i am not far .

I own a home in Lisbon and also stay there at times .

Beaches, mountains, culture, shopping, water sports, golf, riding and more. Only 10,15 minutes walk to the beach and atmospheric town of CASCAIS with its lively center, beautiful historical houses, museums, art galleries,marina, shops, cafes and restaurants, a great market on Wednesdays. Marvellous promenade by the sea to ESTORIL. Casa da Guia nearby is a 19th century manor house overlooking the ocean with restaurants, cafés and some interesting shops. Sintra is a dramatically beautiful mountain village with ancient castles and palaces to explore. Only 10 mn drive to the protected coast line and beaches of Guincho, Adraga, Azenhas do Mar and the lighthouse at Cabo da Roca, most westerly point of Europe. ONE OF THE MOST DRAMATIC TRAIN RIDES IN EUROPE follows the coast into the heart of Lisbon in just 30 mins.

SUGGESTIONS: Casa Catarina includes all modern conveniences for self-catering , linen and towels provided, the house is cool in summer, warm in winter. Plenty of light. Garden features luxury pebble pool (9 metres diametre) with deck and lawn. Further deck up stairs (fenced) with awning, sun chairs, barbecue & large tables to feast in sunshine or for dinner (electric lights also)! Cascais is walking distance (10-15 mins on foot), Estoril 5 minutes by car. Coastal train ride to Lisbon is 35 minutes (shopping & culture), Sintra mountains (hikes and castles) 20 minutes, Guincho beach (

Surfers Paradise), 15 minutes. Good night life can be found locally or in Lisbon.

GOLF: Golf Details: There are 5 golf courses locally, all within 2-5 miles.

1. Estoril Golf -designer-Mckenzie Ross- 2 courses- 18 hole, 69 Par, 5238m, Championship course.

2. Golf Estoril-Sol - designers are John Harris / Ron Fream - 9 hole, Par 31, 1749M Beautiful.

3. Penha Longa is a two course location - main course 18 hole is par 72 and 6228 metres in length. Designer R.Trent Jones II. Championship course - spectacular.

4. Quinta Da Marinha is par 71 - 6014 m - Championship course - Atlantic views.Designer R.T. Jones.

Cascais 2024

Lovely house which is very well looked after. The small things were all taken care of which made life so much easier when arriving. Vicky was great and very helpful. Location was peaceful and within walking distance of Cascais town and marina, Ubers were also plentiful and cheap.

Fantastic house

What a lovely house and location Cascais is beautiful and such a friendly place The house was like staying in someone’s own home , beautifully presented and stocked with equipment and goodies. The garden and pool area was perfect with lots of chairs, loungers and cushions , and the outside toilet was really useful. The train to Lisbon was easy, and there are lots of restaurants in cascais to choose from. Thank you Vicki!

Beautiful villa

We stayed here for a week with our 2 grown up children and their partners. The villa is so comfortable, very clean and full of all the home comforts so that our holiday was just perfect. Vicky was a kind and generous host , nearby if we needed her but otherwise gave us privacy. We can’t recommend this highly enough and will definitely be back.

Lovely homely holiday home. Great location and well equipped. Fabulous host.

We loved our stay at Vicky's home. The house is comfortable and well equipped. Nice pool and pretty garden with shady areas for those who prefer cooler spots. Vicky's hosting throughout was amazing and she providee a welcome pack with tasty food and drinks. Really a thoughtful gesture and nuch appreciated. We will definitely return.

First Class Property

This was our second time staying in this property and it hopefully won’t be the last. Everything is first class from a wonderfully welcoming host to a brilliant location in Cascais. The house, garden and pool are all perfectly maintained and presented. If you want to eat in the kitchen is very well equipped, with new oven, hob and Nespresso machine. However, if you’d rather not spend time cooking, you are no more than 10 minutes walk away from any number of great restaurants in Cascais itself. I couldn’t recommend this property highly enough.

A beautiful incredibly well looked after house. Spotless. The host has thought of absolutely everything you might need for a perfect holiday, making you feel at home away from home. Abundant towels for all, fully equipped kitchen and bathrooms, barbecue, books, pool toys, cleaning products, poolside toilet, sunloungers, etc. An amazing welcome pack of various foods and wines. Beautiful area, Lidl five minutes walk away and not far from the bay and beach, you definitely don't need a car. A taxi back from town cost max 5€. Overall 10/10, and I don't dish ratings lightly, thank you Victoria!

Wonderful family holiday in Cascais.

An ideal house for our holiday with 6 family members, spanning 3 generations. Kitchen and bathroom are excellently equipped - they had absolutely everything we needed. The pool and garden are a good size and very well maintained. On top of all that, the location is perfect to walk to beach and restaurants in Cascais, or catch the train for day trips to Lisbon. Vicky was a super host throughout and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending her house to anyone looking for a trip that has something for the whole family.

A lovely house & garden with pool in a quiet cul-de-sac with a c15mins walk down to town. Every kitchen gadget, kids toys, pool & bbq stuff, garden chairs, sunbeds, cushions for all, beach towels & lots of lovely &/or useful little extras that made it special. Very private & secure. Didnt see Vicky all week but knew we could contact if we wished. We are very frequent travellers & couldnt think of any recommended improvements! A first!

Perfect villa for our family

The villa is absolutely brilliant. The photos don’t do it justice. The garden is a gem, the pool is bigger than it looks in photos and it is lovely. It’s really well positioned. An easy walk into the town centre. A short cab ride to Sintra and the train into Lisbon. The villa has absolutely everything you need and three bathrooms so one for each couple of there’s six of you. Vicky was lovely and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.

Perfect Family Holiday

After two enforced cancellations it was worth the wait. A beautiful, clean and well equipped property within walking distance of beaches and Cascais. Vicky the owner was very helpful with advice and practical information to help us along The garden and pool were a hit with all our party which ranged from the ages of 14months to 66yrs. Lisbon and Sintra within easy reach by local transport. I would thoroughly recommend this property. It ticked all the boxes for us

Fabulous house

We spent ten days staying in this wonderful property. It is welcoming, comfortable and beautifully maintained. The pool is an absolute delight and we enjoyed the fresh plums from the tree! Vicky was a brilliant host - engaging, helpful and friendly. We would really recommend this house for a family holiday.

Absolutely first class. Lovely stay

The villa is really lovely, with spacious rooms and a fully stocked kitchen. The pool area is great, and there’s a small baby pool attached which was perfect for my 2 year old. It’s a 15 minute walk down hill into cascais and a 20 minute walk uphill back so not far. Very quiet at night which was nice. Highly recommend this place for any families with young or old guests.

Fabulous quiet location with off road parking and private pool Moderate walk to centre and beach, would not suit people with mobility issues but most days we did it twice so not a problem. The local supermarkets, absence of tourists made you feel like a local, but plenty of restaurants and bars in the Centre for evenings All told amazing house, town and holiday

Perfect for our Family needs

We were very pleased with our stay. It was our first family get together in a few years and this was the ideal place. The property is massive, very strongly built with everything you would need. Quality appliances and comfortable beds. Everything was spotlessly clean. Checking in and out was super simple with our friendly property manager Vicky. It's a simple walk down to the town and beach areas. The pool was bigger than we thought and also very clean and well maintained. We will aim to stay here again next year. One possible improvement I would suggest is larger/more comfy couches in the main living room and a bigger TV. Even though one really shouldn't be inside watching TV that would be nice if the weather wasn't perfect. Thanks & Regards!

Our Cascais Family Holiday

Super holiday in a super villa. The swimming pool and the back garden were wonderful. A large and comfortable living room with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, so ideal for a family of 7. Cascais itself is a lovely resort. Vicky was very helpful throughout our stay, and I would thoroughly recommend a holiday in this villa. The McCluskeys from the UK, August 2021

Family gathering.

Extremely well appointed house. No need to buy dishwasher tablets, washing machine powder or toilet rolls as they were all provided. Superbly equipped kitchen and two great long tables outside and one inside to eat family meals...helped by a great supermarket with fresh fish counter only 5 minutes walk away. Lovely garden with sunloungers and great little pool which we enjoyed. 15 minuits rather drab walk into town but a nice little seaside town with great connection via railway to Lisbon. (The sea was unpleasantly cold this September....very few people were attempting a swim !) We took an Uber taxi to Sintra and it only cost 12 euro and took twenty minutes. Well worth doing.

Vicky ‘s place is absolutely wonderful - never stayed in such a well equipped villa .

I would definitely recommend this amazing well equipped villa - 3 couples had a week in Cascais we could not have wished for anything better all had their own bathroom which is an unusual find - in a lovely residential area but within easy distance of the centre- have to say UBER are a god send when you have had an exhausting day on the beach Came in June last year seemed busy in Sept no idea why maybe the weather as up until our arrival they had had a great summer Vicky was very approachable and replied immediately to any of our questions - her recommendations of places / restaurants were also great Would definitely return - it was paradise

Really great villa

The kitchen was really well equipped, the beds were really comfortable, the pool was bigger then it seemed in the photos and a lovely terrace in the garden. We also loved the short walk into town and short hop on a train to Lisbon . I would definitely recommend Vickys house and the area
