About this property

The double fronted first floor apartment is beautifully fitted through out and has excellent sea views from the master bedroom , lounge and kitchen. Away from the noise of summer crowds, the flat is a stones throw from St. Ives beaches and shops. Situated just behind the Tate Gallery, there is a direct path to the famous surfing beach that takes just three minutes from Ocean Breezes. A dedicated garage space is included nearby.

Turn right from the flat for a choice of routes to the many art galleries, restaurants and shops in the historic fishing port, a few minutes stroll. There are two other calmer, beaches within easy walking distance. Porthminster and Porthgwiden boast beach side cafes and restaurants with superb views and menus.

The main bedroom has a double bed and a generous en suite shower room. The second bedroom has a two single beds and there is a separate bathroom with hand held shower. Both rooms have hot towel rails. There are two toilets in the apartment. The lounge/diner and kitchen are set out in a sociable open plan. If you choose to cook the kitchen has everything you should need. Reliable wi-fi throughout the flat.

Wonderful stay!

We enjoyed every aspect of our stay. The flat itself was large, clean, and charmingly decorated. The big tub was a bonus after a long day of seaside walks. The flat is perfectly located with glorious views, exactly what we had in mind!The hosts were communicative, friendly and helpful when an issue arose that we needed assistance for, and we recommend staying here for anyone wanting to enjoy St Ives.

Just what we needed

The property was located in the best place we could have wished for. A very short distance to Porthmeor beach and St Ives but surprisingly quiet. Beautiful views of the sea and sunset. The apartment was spotlessly clean and equipped very nicely. With everything you needed. The bed was very comfortable and I even took a look to see who the manufacturer was (a lot more comfortable than ours).we did use the garage but found it a little far away and very small. This was to be fair as advertised. The car park right across the road is only 6.30 per day or 15 for a week. Would probably recommend this. We will definitely stay here again in the future. It’s an excellent base for exploring the beaches and town. I would highly recommend this apartment. You won’t be disappointed. Many thanks

A wonderful place to stay. We didn't want to leave!

A great place to stay for surfing and fun at the beaches of St Ives and close to all the lovely arty stuff too. Near to the harbour but just far enough away to be nice and quiet, with a view of the sea and sunsets in the evenings. The flat was clean, tidy, well equipped and the perfect size for a family of four.

We had a great week. The views are just amazing, the proximity to the beach and town brilliant!

We had a great time away. The property is delightful. The decor was amazing - clean and homely. The house was in really close proximity to the town, harbour and the beach which was amazing. Our only comment is the hills which are challenge for anyone with mobility issues. We would have no hesitations recommending this property for a beautiful holiday in St Ives. Thank you ✨

Very comfortable and convenient apartment

The quality of the decor, furniture and kitchen, brown and white goods were very high. There was a small problem with the heating and the owner spent a considerable amount of time on the phone resolving it very satisfactorily.

Great location and views

Very comfortable accommodation with everything you might need for a holiday (a few more coat hangers would have been useful) Lots of places within walking distance, good expertise up and down the hill to the beach and only a short distance. We had a lovely time.

Lovely flat in brilliant location

A spacious, well equipped and really comfortable flat with amazing sea views. The location was fabulous - a short walk to the shops, cafes and restaurants of St Ives and several beaches close by. The wonderful cliff paths were just minutes away and we enjoyed walking and running them many times and were even lucky enough to see some seals on our last morning! We had a brilliant week staying in St Ives in this lovely flat with everything we needed on our doorstep and we hope to return some time soon.

A well appointed apartment.The photos do not do the apartment justice, it's much larger and wider throughout. The apartment is spotlessly clean and just a short (steep) walk away from Porthmeor beach. Will definitely book to go again. would recommend getting a parking spot outside in the car park if you can. Only thing missing would have been an airer for wet suits and beach gear! Please note there is a dryer within the washing machine for clothes. Thank you for the great stay!

Wonderful property, great location

As long as you’re happy with a steep walk, and a couple of flights of stairs at the end of the walk, you’ll love this place. We’ve stayed for two years running and you cannot beat the view without being right by the sea. The area is quiet, there’s a car park opposite and the flat is decked out in high quality fittings and furniture. Viv and David have been a pleasure to deal with. We’ll certainly be back again.

Perfect family stay

The flat was even better than we expected, light and spacious inside, very well equipped and with amazing views. The location is ideal, just a few minutes walk down the steps to the beach. It was perfect for a family holiday with two children, everything we needed and more was there. It's a flat, so you can sometimes hear the neighbours if they play music etc in the evening, and this happened a few nights during our stay, but wasn't too much of an issue. Getting a parking space was a bit of a challenge on the first day (the garage was too small for our car), but once this was sorted we had a fantastic time and wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Good well appointed apartment with really good amenities. Great views over beach and close to beach, cafes and shops. At the top of a steep hill so challenging for those with poor mobility. Would recommend.

Great location & owners

The property is in a great location, overlooking Porthmor beach and 2 min walk to Fore St. Close enough to fetch fresh pastries and coffee for breakfast each day. The living/kitchen area is larger than it looks on the photos which is always a bonus. My children loved the old school videos as they had never seen them😆 Great communication from the owners. Would definitely recommend. I have a very large car so didn’t try the garage.

Amazing - will be back!

This is the perfect place to stay in a perfect location. The apartment was very clean, very well equipped and had everything needed for our stay. The views across to the sea and cliffs beyond was amazing, even on the cloudy/rainy days. There are many beaches to explore, the nearest being Porthmeor, which is just down a steep path. This was our favourite beach and wasn't too busy during our stay. Plenty of surf for bodyboarding and the odd flat day for a long swim. There is a garage a short walk away, which we checked but unfortunately our car was too big. There is a carpark directly in front of the property, it gets really busy so if you can get a space, book it for the week and don't move the car! Lots of lovely places to eat just a short walk away, our favourite being the Cellar Bistro. Hope to re-book for next year.

By the sea get away

It was a lovely break. We loved the fact it was only a few minutes walk to the sea and shops/restaurants. We really enjoyed the restaurants viv recommended...especially the Thai one. I have to praise the communication from the owners which was really helpful. Despite the weather being terrible we loved sitting in the lounge watching the sea and storms roll in and of course the weather didn’t affect us getting in the sea! As it was half term the car park opposite was full and didn’t take trailers. This did leave us in a more difficult position as we had our own surfboards. We didn’t want to damage anything in the apartment so stored them on the veranda but this did mean we had to park the car/trailer in a residential area around 2 miles away, which was then tricky when we wanted to go out. However, if we were able to travel lighter in the future we would love to come again and would recommend to other families or couples. The apartment has everything and more that you would want, is well located and is a brilliant base for a st ives holiday.

A 4 night chillax

Our break was a long awaited return to St Ives which didn’t disappoint. The accommodation lived up to the description on the website in terms of quality and location. The resort has so much to offer in terms of a getaway much longed for in these troubled times. We will be back!

Lovely bright, spacious flat

We had a great week in St Ives. The flat is well placed for getting into town and also avoiding the crowds. Only downside is the car park opposite which somewhat detracts from the cleverly angled photographs. Despite this we would stay again!

Family holiday

We had a fantastic stay, the apartment is in an ideal location, a short walk from the beaches and the centre of town. It was ideal for us with two small boys and the apartment was well equipped and very comfortable with beautiful views.

good, except that we returned over a week ago and have not had our deposit returned. We had to chase a previous homeaway owner too. the return of deposit system should be made easier so the client doesn't have to chase. This is an unnecessary irritation.
