Nestled in between Torquay and Teignmouth, Rosemary Cottage Annex is a one bedroom thatched cottage that's cosy and enormously inviting. This cottage has been renovated specifically as a holiday retreat with everything you need for a great Devon getaway.

The clever open plan layout of this property means that everything is on hand from the cute kitchen, the dining area or watching TV from the two-seater sofa. The master bedroom has a welcoming double bed and offers direct access to an enclosed garden area with a table and chairs that make it a tempting place to pass a couple of hours. This is a fine spot from which to soak up the views under the summer sun.

Parking is on a private drive at the side of the cottage. The cottage also benefits from wi fi for those who cant live without their technology.

A 15 minute short walk away is the highly rated village pub in the centre of one of South Devon's most picturesque villages of Stokeinteignhead, with its thatched cottages and rural atmosphere. Opposite the pub is the volunteer run village shop to enable you to stock up on essential supplies and local produce, or the Thatched Tavern pub at Maidencombe along with the beach, cafe and paddle board hire. There are also many outdoor activities within the area including horse riding, golf and kayaking to name a few.

The cottage is situated in an ideal location, whether you wish to make a short trip to the seaside or make it an active day on the South West Coast Path. You are just a few miles away from the spectacular views and walks on Dartmoor. For those who want some retail therapy you are close to the historic city of Exeter, the market town of Newton Abbot and the famous Torquay English Riviera and harbour.

Perfect retreat!

Perfect property for a couple’s retreat. Ideally located, Torquay, Teignmouth within 15 minutes drive of the property, with Maidencombe beach and pub 5 minutes. Cottage is clean and has everything needed for a holiday. Neil was helpful with a couple of questions pre the holiday and was around if required during our stay. Will definitely look to come back at some point. Richard and Julie.

Annexe was very welcoming. Exceptionally clean and well equipped. It would have been nice and useful to have a bedside lamp, then the person near the wall could read, but not have to get out of bed to turn off the main light. Otherwise great stay. Would happily recommend

Lovely cottage beautiful area

We had a lovely stay at Rosemary Cottage Annexe, impeccably clean, very picturesque area, didn't need to use the car much which we loved, got lots of steps in! 20 mins walk to nearby cove with lovely beach cafe, and had a fabulous meal in The Thatched Inn 😍

Great Stay

Great stay at Rosemary Cottage. Owner Neil was on hand if you needed anything. Perfect for our 5 days in Devon , visiting for a wedding at Cockington (approx 6 miles away). Really quiet place, well equipped for self catering. Farm next door sold organic eggs, milk etc which was handy. Nice little back garden at the property, with a nice view over the surrounding countryside. Driving was fun with some very small roads and sharp bends!

Fabulous Stay in Quaint Village

The cottage was located in a fabulous village, with a short walk to the Thatched Inn pub and the wonderful cove of Maidencombe which was a hidden gem. Neil our host was so friendly and gave us some great local tips and nothing was to much trouble.

Great week in Stokeinteignhead

We had a great week staying at the annexe in Stokeinteignhead. The property is handy for Torquay and most places along the South Devon coast. The property owner, Neil, ably assisted by his cocker spaniel, Charlie, were excellent hosts and provided good suggestions for places to eat. The annexe is small but very clean and has everything you need for a 1 week stay. The roads around the village are very narrow but you get used to them. Would book again when next visiting South Devon.

Great location

Quaint on the outside, modern on the inside, everything you need for a base to explore the local area and beyond. Clean, comfortable and functional, kitchen well equipped. Lounge area small, but that is as listed.

Clean and Comfortable

The cottage annex is small but is an ideal base for visiting Shaldon, Torquay, Babbacombe, Maidencombe etc. You do need a car. You can’t walk very far in safety because of the man road with no footpaths. Be prepared for steep hills wherever you go. The cottage was spotlessly clean with ample facilities and a good bathroom and shower. Parking is available for one car along side the owner’s vehicles. The back garden is a small sectioned off area of grass with nice views of the surrounding countryside. Overall, comfortable and relaxing. We didn’t need to speak to Neil very much but when we did he was helpful and pleasant.
