Wonderful

This little gem of a property had everything we needed. Wendy gave us all the information we needed in advance and quickly responded to the few questions we had. On site Janice was great, very helpful and friendly and kept the place spotlessly clean. The property has a very nice garden with sun beds and a comfortable verandah, and is in a great location, very close to restaurants, shops and the beach club. We hope to visit again!

A great stay.

Communication with Wendy was great throughout. She always replied within half a day and instructions with regard to our arrival were clear and concise. The accomodation is in such a great location and everything from the beach, to the supermarket and lots of great local restaurants were only a few minutes walk. A very big bonus is the use of the beach club which is just across the road and a great benefit of renting this apartment. Towels and sheets changed regularly by the very friendly Janice who oversees the domestic side of things locally. Would I return -oh yes! Sooner the better hopefully.

A little gem

We arrived later than expected but Janice was waiting for us on arrival with a big smile. As the owner was away at the time Janice who does the laundry changeover was there to greet us. She showed us where everything was, and then left us to settle in. It was about 6pm so we walked to the very modern Masseys. Supermarket to buy some bread and milk which is a 5 minute walk away. It took us a couple of days to get our bearings. The property in Hibiscus Avenue is a studio apartment and is set in lovely gardens with a veranda so you can eat at a table one end or sit on the sofa the other end. There are two other studio apartments attached but they still feel private. The garden is well maintained and full of birds if you like feeding them all the better. The studio apartment is perfectly positioned in Holetown, as it’s only a 5 minute walk to the beach and the bus stop which services the west coast of Barbados. You have full use of the Beach club which has a swimming pool and bar and restaurant. All the sun beds are included. All the property owners in the area known as Sunset crest, pay a yearly subscription which allows all guests access to the beach club. I will be definitely be coming back here.

Amazing property in a great location.

The apartment was amazing. It has everything you need for two people. The bed is comfy, shower is good, air con works really well. It is in a great location, less than a 5 minute walk to everything (beach, bars, restaurants, supermarket). Being able to use the Beach Club is also a big bonus as it allows you to have a base every day should you need it, with; sunbeds, a pool, a bar, showers etc. However if you wish to travel further afield there is both a bus stop and taxi rank 2 minutes walk from the property. Wendy was amazing in the lead up to and on arrival day, our flight was delayed by four hours and Wendy made sure we would still be able to get in to the property when we arrived late at night. Janice was also lovely, bringing fresh sheets and towels twice a week. Overall we had an amazing holiday and I would highly recommend this property.

Fantastic 10 days

We agree with everything written before. Access to the pool is especially special and great value. Can easily spend each day there as has good wifi and really nice restaurant and bar attached. We loved it. P.S. the cleaner is lovely too!

The perfect place to be

Just spent 7 glorious days in one of the studio apartments. The beds were comfy, the apartment immaculate and the garden private and peaceful. The perfect location - close to the beach, full use of the Beach Club pool and within walking distance of the supermarket, shops and restaurants. If you want to venture further afield, buses stop over the road; the yellow reggae buses being our personal favourites.

A really gorgeous well equipped & fabulously maintained property in an absolutely perfect location

This is a fabulous property in such a great location, literally a few minutes walk from absolutely everything you could need for a perfect holiday! It is close to all amenities, shops, banks,supermarkets, bus stops, medical centre, restaurants & bars, and the beaches and you also have free access to a pool at the beach house with sun beds around. The property was spacious and superbly maintained , exceptionally clean (including during the stay when Janice comes in and cleans and changes linen) & very well equipped as well as having a lovely covered front terrace with both dining table & chairs and an outdoor sofa area to relax on! It also had a beautiful garden which is not overlooked with sun beds too! There is a huge ceiling fan in the property which kept it adequately cool but in the event that it gets hotter or more humid you can use air conditioning for a small supplement, but we didn’t need it during our stay! One thing also worth mentioning is that the bed is ultra comfortable and we slept really well every night !! Having a flat screen Tv with many channels was great too ( not that you want to sit in watching much tv with so much to see & enjoy, but being able to just keep up with news etc when getting changed before going out in the evening is good!) but the WiFi was also a real bonus as it meant you could FaceTime home or access the internet when at the property. There is access to a laundry area most days which was useful to be able to keep clothing & beach towels fresh/clean and meant you don’t return home with absolutely everything requiring washing which is great! Wendy was a very lovely host, gave us some great tips on places to visit etc and although on hand if needed wasn’t intrusive and as no one was immediately coming into the room she very kindly allowed us to stay as long as we wanted on our last day until late afternoon as we had a nighttime flight. We would definitely not hesitate in returning and staying in this property if it is available when we next visit Barbados for sure!

Great Stay in Holetown

My wife and I stayed for two weeks in January 2017. The accommodation is well maintained and has everything you need to self cater if you want to. There are plenty of places to eat on your doorstep in Holetown as well. The nearest beach is just across the road and excellent with good snorkeling. The owner Wendy was on site and very helpful. It must have been good as we have booked for next year.

Perfect for us

Our stay was spot on. The apartment had everything we needed to cook some of our own meals and very close to the well-stocked supermarket. Access to the beach club is a real bonus that we greatly appreciated, although the apartment is so close to the beach anyway. We really enjoyed having breakfast under the veranda looking onto the garden, it was a real oasis. Wendy responded quickly and was extremely helpful with transport information etc. The wifi wouldn't work on our Iphones, which wasn't at all a problem for us as we go away to escape emails and we had wifi at the beach club anyway, but that might be an issue for others. The apartment was extremely clean and we felt very safe there. I'd say it was the perfect location and ideal for those wanting a self-catered holiday in Barbados. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to friends and family and book again. Thank you Wendy.

The property was spacious, and very comfortable.

The apartment has plenty of room, a good kitchen for self catering, big shower and space for comfortable living while on holiday. The balcony and garden is lovely and at night to sit out and sip a glass of wine, watch the stars and relax. Lots of Windows to allow a cool breeze to come through. Nothing too much trouble for Wendy who was very helpful I spent time swimming or at the Beach Club pool, all very relaxing and great for sunbathing. My holiday was wonderful.

Great holiday

I had a great two week holiday. The studio apartment is a really good size and in a perfect location, just a few minutes walk from the supermarket and just across the road from the lovely swimming pool and beach. It's also very close to a bus stop which was so convenient, that is, if I could tear myself away from the pool and beach. It's the perfect place to relax and just 'chill out'. Thank you Wendy.

Very comfortable, convenient, close to amenities

The studio is spacious, comfortable and clean, with good cooking facilities and spacious bathroom. Wendy is very helpful and friendly. Willing to go the extra mile to make the holiday the best yet. There is a lovely private balcony to the studio overlooking the well established and attractive gardens. The beach is two minutes away, as is the beachside pool. All amenities are close and easy to get to. I loved my two months stay there and am returning next year. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Lovely spacious, clean , relaxing apartment.

Loved sitting on the veranda with a rum & coke after a day spent at the beach, which was a couple of minutes walk away. Supermarket at the end of the road supplied all our needs. The apartment was lovely , cleaned regularly by Janice with towel and bedding changed. Mark was on hand to check all was good with our stay. I would stay here again and recommend family and friends to stay as well. We had a great holiday which was helped by staying in an ideal apartment in a nice location.

the best of barbados

having booked one of the studio apartments we where offered an upgrade to the villa which was an added bonus. on arrival we where met by Janice who gave us our keys and showed us round. we where pleasantly surprised at how spacious the villa is.It is very clean and nicely decorated has a well equipped kitchen comfy sitting room and a large bedroom. outside is a large veranda with table and chairs and other seating,this was where we spent most of our time when not at the beach. it is also set in a nice garden which is very private. it is as central as you can get to all facilities only being a few minuets walk to beach pool supermarket bars and restaurants also buses. this has to be the best place we have stayed at so far and would highly recommend it as its suitable for all. the highlights of this visit was cropover which my daughter went along to with friends I did a more sedate visit going by boat also swimming with the turtles was one of our favourites there are so many places of interest which we have yet to visit. thank you wendy for making our holiday the best yet

Barbados holiday

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Allanha Apartments. The studio was much more spacious than I had expected. It was clean and well maintained and in a very convenient location. I would certainly consider staying there again and recommending to friends.
