The Lychgate Cottages on Priory Row are some of the oldest buildings in the city, dating from 1415, and provide a unique place to stay in the heart of Coventry.
The cottages retain the character of the jetted timber framed buildings now combined with modern luxury to provide high quality self-contained accommodation.
6 Priory Row is a two bedroom property located over two floors of the Priory Row buildings. Featuring a grand master bedroom with four-poster bed (ideal for bridal suite).
Stairs to the first floor lead to a small landing with access to the first of two double bedrooms, as well as a bathroom with bath and shower over, and a separate toilet. The landing also gives access though a historic low door (mind your head!) to a kitchen/dining area, along with a living room area, with comfy modern sofa and chairs, overlooking the ruins of St Mary’s Priory. You get a great view of the city, right over to the nearby Coventry Cathedral.
On the second floor is a large master bedroom. With a modern four-poster bed, there is also plenty of space for a comfy chair and a modern desk and chair. Adjacent is an ensuite bathroom, with a large luxury shower.
Original features such as the unique timber framing of the building are combined with modern luxury to ensure a really comfortable stay. Luxurious beds and plenty of hot water in a modern shower or bath, along with all you need in the kitchen and living areas are available right in the heart of the city. With views over Holy Trinity church and Broadgate, Priory Row is an oasis in this historic city.
