Happy Memories at Milna

We had a very relaxing time at the Villa which was perfectly suitable for two families because of the separation of the apartments. The children loved the pool and we all loved the sea. It was idyllic to swim in such clear water every day at the bottom of the lane. The walk into Milna took about 20 minutes so you need a car for the shop, which was the only inconvenience. There’s a great restaurant half way to town. The host was very helpful and responded quickly. Thank you Ivana for a holiday which gave us sweet memories.

Wonderful stay in a superb bay

The holiday home is very convenient, offering everything that is needed for a great family holiday. It is divided into two units which makes it a perfect option for two families. The pool is a nice bonus, especially for kids. What really makes the house special is the sheltered bay in which it is situated - with its calm waters, it is ideal for swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking. I would definitely recommend this house to anybody looking for a family holiday in a peaceful location.

Spacious property on a beautiful island

It was our first time visiting Croatia and we had a lovely holiday. Milena was a great host. She greeted us at the villa and explained everything. The island is beautiful and the weather in September was perfect. Villa is spacious and very clean, made out of two apartments. My parents in law stayed upstairs whilst my family stayed downstairs. The bay is breathtaking. We rented a car and explored this beautiful island. We highly recomend the villa and will definitely come back thank you

Lovely holiday on this beautiful island!

My family - husband, 3 kids and my parents had a great week in Slavica's villa. The island is beautiful, village Milna has lots of lovely restaurants. Villa is well equipped and has everything you need. The beach is rocky with amazingly clear water. My kids loved the pool and used it a lot. Slavica's daughter was always available if we had any questions. Thank you!

Great villa!

We had an amazing holiday thank you! Villa is very close to the sea and the views of the bay are breathtaking. Property is spacious, very clean, has 5 bedrooms, 2 sitting rooms, and 2 kitchens. Also, a baby cot that was very useful. Milna village (about 20 min walk) is beautiful with lots of little restaurants (with really good local food particularly fish) We rented a car and explored the island, we loved Croatia and will be back!

Great property for relaxing near the sea

This is a lovely spacious property. The sea is only a minute or so away and is warm and clear. You access it by steps from the rocks. If you can't even be bothered to go that far you can cool off in the pool. Milna is a couple of minutes drive away and is a very pretty town with a harbour and restaurants. There are shops for all your day to day essentials. View from the upstairs balcony is special and downstairs outside eating area is shady and private. I would recommend this property for a relaxing seaside holiday. With a car you can be in Supertar or Bol in well under an hour for more adventurous water sports. Incidentally, my teenage sons tell me that the wifi is the best we have ever had in a holiday villa and better than at home.

Lovely villa in Amazing location!

Our family of 6 stayed in this villa for a week in September and had a wonderful holiday. Location is beautiful - quiet bay with clear water (never seen water so clear!) surrounded by pine trees. Villa is well equipped with everything you need and very clean. Owners daughter Milena was very friendly and always available if we had any questions. The whole island is stunning! I fell in love! We hired a car and had a trip to other villages too. Also we had a trip to local island Hvar with a fast boat (30 min away). We swam every day in the bay and the kids loved the pool. Pool area had a lovely lounge area we really enjoined. The village has lovely little restaurants/tavernas. We especially enjoyed "Palma" for local fish and pizzeria "Slika". Also "Kapetanovo Lozje" (walking distance) which had great lamb on the menu! and surrounded by olive trees - very romantic! Thank you for lovely holiday! We will be back next year for sure!

Lovely villa within easy reach of the sea

We flew into Split airport at approx 10pm and easily got a taxi transfer for 7 of us to Split ferry port (400 kuna). Here the ferry ticket office was still open and we bought tickets for the Split to Supetar ferry at midnight. We arranged collection at Supetar prior to our arrival with Ivica vlahović (300 kuna) and were taken directly to the villa. Here we were met by the owners daughter, Milena, even though it was 01.00 in the morning. The villa is laid out as two separate apartments, with no internal connection. Each apartment has its own key. Downstairs has a living/dining room, bathroom with shower, kitchen area, 1 twin and 1 double bedroom. It also has a terrace with large outdoor dining table overlooking the pool. Upstairs also has a bathroom with shower, kitchen, 1 twin, 1 single and 1 double bedroom, living area and terrace overlooking the pool with sea view. Outside there is a small pool with loungers and outside sofa seating area. Around the rear of the property is a barbeque area. The villa is very clean and well looked after. The walk to the sea is about 2 minutes. There is no beach as such. Every property in the area has an allocated spot on the rocks which many have levelled and made useable. The sea is clear and lovely. Not a great deal of fish life is you are interested in snorkelling and lots of sea urchins. The nearest village is Milna which is about a 30 minute walk along an inland country road. There is no coastal route. There are several other villas near the property but nothing else, no shops. everything is in Milna. We liked the seclusion and quiet, but it is something to be aware of. We arranged car hire for two days within the week from eRentacar, recommended by the owner. They will bring a car to milna for you to collect or, for 100 kuna extra, will deliver it to the villa. During this time we visited Bol and used the car to stock up our supplies. I would recommend this property if you are looking to escape the crowds and close proximity to the sea is important to you.

Lovely sea view and beautiful surroundings!

I stayed at the villa in late April for 4 nights and absolutely loved it. I arrived late in the evening in Split but luckily ferries run until midnight so I was able to get to the island same night.The area is perfect if you want a quiet relaxed time, it was so quite that I would wake up really late which normally doesn't happen...there is a lovely little bay near by where you can sunbathe and swim. I had lunch in restaurant Palma in the village Milna which did great fresh fish. Village has a food shop where you can get all the grocaries you need. We did a day trip to Vidova Gora, a mountain where you can get breathtaking view of the islands. We also did a trip to Split and I loved the old town! Upstairs balcony has great sea views. Villa has wi fi internet so I was able to do some work as well. Smart TV has built in Netflix as well so I was able to watch my favourite shows.

wonderful relaxing stay

We had the most wonderful relaxing stay. The quiet sleepy cove where the villa's based is about 15 mins walk from the lovely town of Milna. Quiet but charming, nice little pool to cool off, with private beach for village residents it was a great way to unwind and settle before heading on to the much lively Bol. I recommend to anyone especially families - villa is well decorated with large outdoor covered area / table for evening meals as sun sets. A perfect stay. Don't miss out on a night at "Kapetanovo Lozje" restaurant - 10 minutes walk in direction of milna - in the middle of nowhere! Amazing experience with good food sunset and sheep! We went twice - Loved it!

Lovely villa with breathtaking views of the sea

We enjoyed a lovely week with stunning views of the Adriatic coastline. We swam everyday in the warm water which was only a few metres from the villa. The town of milna is about 2.5km away which is walkable but we generally used taxis. The town is lovely and we enjoyed some nice meals and also used here to buy our food for the villa. We had a great day out visiting other islands on a boat and those memories will stay with me always. We Aldo had a fabulous day in split which is well worth a visit. I would definitely return to this villa again.

Highly recommended

This would be my second time at Slavica's lovely house on Brac. I cannot recommend it highly enough. The house is very clean and airy and the beach is no more than 50 meters away. House comes with a pool and it is very child safe. The island itself is exeptionaly beautiful, as is, the entire Croatian coastline indeed. Small restaurants throughout the island offer very healthy, and utterly tasty local sea food cuisine. This trully is a magic place to visit and recharge, highly recommended.

Fantastic holiday, great villa and great Value for

My family with my brothers family spend a great holiday in Villa Milna. The house was furnished to a good standard, clean and very well maintained. The swimming pool was perfect for the children. The restaurants in the village had delicious food (lamb on island is excellent!) and were very cheap. We also bought fresh fish from local fishermen in the village. There is lots of things to see on the island so car hire is recommended. Also wonderful service from owner who answered all our questions. Highly recommended!

Lovely holiday thank you!

Our stay in Villa Milna could not have been better. The beautiful house, the island, the scenery, clear water, nice pool and the extremely helpful people - thank you Milena for being great help! Lovely location

Great location, next to a lovely bay - which is amazing to swim in. The villa is about a 30min walk from Milna fishing village, and about half way is the most amazing restaurant - a must try, you get to eat out in the open with the sheep! The house was lovely very comfortable, we made good use of the bbq and pool. Thank you so much for a lovely stay.

Wonderful stay - chryal clear sea!

We were 2 families (8 people) from Norway and we had a wonderful stay in this villa this summer (2013). The location was fantastic, short distance to the sea and 2-3 km from Milna, a small and nice village with good restaurants. The property has all you need and lies in a quiet area with little tourists. We enjoyed 10 days and would like to come back some time. Beautiful setting...

This was my second visit in 2 years and things were exactly the same as in the 1st year, just perfect! A lovely villa in a quiet location with a beach and pool. A short drive to the port where you can find fresh seafood restaurants, cafes and bars. Ideal for a couple or a family looking for a relaxing holiday, but also having the option of taking a trip to nearby lively island Hvar or spending spending the day at the beautiful town of Split, for a spot of sight seeing and shopping.

Familienurlaub

Das Ferienhaus mit 2 sepaeaten Wohnungen war udeal für 1 Familie mit 3 Kindern und die untere mit 2 Kindern. Alles war sauber und modern, due obere Whg. etwas gemütlicher. Die Küchen hatten alles, was man so braucht. Der große Esstisch auf der unteren Veranda ist für eine Großfamilien geeignet. Der Pool ist zwar klein aber die Kindee hatten Spass ubd die Erwachsenen auch. Das wunderbare Meer ist nicht weit, vllt 100 m, man muss aber wiss3n, dass es nur über Badeleitern ins Meer geht. Wir alle fanden unsere Unterkunft sehr schön.

Wundervoll! Absolute Empfehlung!

Wir durften mit zwei Familien zu Gast in diesem wundervollen Haus sein! Wir haben zwei Wochen dort verbracht und wären am liebsten nicht abgereist. Es fehlt an nichts und das Meer ist nur einen Katzensprung entfernt. Das Dorf hat einen tollen Chaem. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und einen wunderschönen Urlaub verbracht.

Bewertung Haus Milna

Die Insel Brac ist wirklich eine super schöne Insel, die wir auf jedenfall wieder besuchen werden. Die Insel ist nicht überfüllt von Tourismus was uns sehr gut in den Sommermonaten gefallen hat. Das Haus ist ja in 2 Wohnungen unterteilt, wobei die untere Wohnung neuer ist als die Obere. Einige Dinge müßten wirklich mal neu gemacht werden, einige Möbelstücke sind nicht mehr wirklich ansehnlich und wie so oft sind die Matratzen in den Betten auch nicht mehr wirklich gut und werden immer durch Topper aufgewertet. Der Pool wirkt auf den Fotos viel größer ist jedoch nur 5x2 Meter. Wir haben ihn aber trotzdem nicht missen wollen. Sonst war wirklich alles super das Wasser liegt vor der Tür und läd immer zum Baden ein. Gut liegen kann man zwar nicht dort aber das Haus ist ja nicht weit entfernt und somit hat man dann die Liegen am Haus wieder aufgesucht. In der Nähe gibt es jedoch noch etliche Möglichkeiten zum Baden und verweilen. Die Stadt Milna ist sehr schön klein und wirklich sehr gemütlich und lädt zum entspannen ein. Alles in allem war es ein sehr schöner Urlaub und wir werden auf jedenfall die Insel Brac wieder besuchen.

We bought this plot of land because it is so close to the sea. The lovely crystal clear blue Adriatic sea is just minute walking distance (40m) from the property. So whenever I feel like a swim I just grab a towel and go! Pure luxury!
