Gorgeous Cotswold cottage

Fabulous stay in this gorgeous cottage in a beautiful village. Cottage had everything we could possibly need and was beautifully furnished. Our dog loved the kitchen underfloor heating! Ideal location for visiting several Cotswold villages as well as Stratford on Avon. The local pubs were within walking distance and the Howard Arms serves amazing food!

Spring break

What a lovely place Ilmington is! A beautiful village with excellent amenities provided by the shop and cafe. A fantastic community spirit. The cottage is lovely and so convenient for visiting the Cotswold villages and excellent eateries nearby. The cottage caters for absolutely every requirement, it is so well equipped, and is so pleasant and light with the french doors in the kitchen and lounge looking out to the patio. It was spotlessly clean. We had only one concern, and that was the need for new matresses on the beds! One side of the king bed nearest the door was like a board resulting in one of us absconding to one of the twins which was also uncomfortable! One suggestion? Perhaps replace the carpet in the lounge with a wooden floor so that inevitable stains can be removed. We loved our time at the cottage.

So lovely I booked it again

Very comfortable cottage and cosy, well equipped and benefits from two en-suites. I have now booked for New Year!

A comfortable and well-equipped cottage in a perfect location

A comfortable and well-equipped cottage in a lovely, friendly village and with plenty of activity options within a 20 minute drive - what more could you want?

The house was warm, inviting and comfortable in a beautiful village.

The house was warm and inviting on arrival which is always important to me. The beds and sofas were comfortable and the house had everything you needed from kitchen equipment to several toilet rolls! The village is beautiful and the locals very friendly. Lots of alleyways to walk down to find interesting paths without going too far from the house. The Red Lion was wonderful for a Sunday roast. They had live entertainment in the pub and lots of locals attended. It was great. We will be back.

Lovely Cotswold cottage

Cider press cottage is very spacious, well equipped, comfortable and clean. We had a lovely stay here and the village of Ilmington has everything you need and is well placed for seeing all the of the Cotswolds. Some reviews have said there isn’t much of a welcome pack but there was tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits. Also salt and pepper, but what I liked there were plenty of loo rolls, kitchen roll, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets and liquid soap and bin bags all the things I often forget. We would definitely return to Cider Press Cottage in the future!

Excellent cottage

This is our second stay at Cider Press cottage. It is a lovely comfortable cottage in a delightful village with lots of dog walks from the door. We stay here on our way down to Cornwall to break our journey. We will definitely stay again.

Beautiful Ilmington

We had a fantastic time, staying in Cider press cottage. The accommodation was absolutely perfect! Clean, comfortable and met all of our needs. The village of Ilmington is picturesque and very friendly. We really had the very best time, I just wished our stay had been longer.

Fantastic village and wonderful cottage.

Cider Press was a very spacious, well equipped and very comfortable cottage. The front room was a delight so big and light. Furniture and beds very comfortable. Shower superb. Kitchen well equipped and it was lovely looking out into the courtyard. The garden was well looked after and relaxing to sit in. It was enclosed and secure so great for our dog. Being able to park 2 cars in the courtyard was a bonus. A little observation was that there were a few cobwebs especially in fireplace, dusty skirting boards etc but overall good. A small kitchen bin and no spare bin bags was a bit of a pain.

Peaceful location

Lovely cottage in a peaceful location. The village of Ilmington is quiet, with a super village shop and cafe and a lovely church where they practice bell ringing every other Wednesday, a delight to listen to. The cottage courtyard is a lovely place to sit and enjoy a tea or coffee. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need and an en-suite with both bedrooms is a luxury. However, we didn't realise that we would be unable to watch live tv and needed use catch up instead. We would recommend Cider Press Cottage.

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful village location

Cider Press Cottage is comfortable, quiet and situation in a beautiful village in the northern Cotswolds. Facilities are good and rooms are very comfortable. A grill pan and oven gloves are the only things lacking in an otherwise excellent cottage.

A lovely getaway

Cider Press Cottage is lovely and tucked away within a lovely village. The cottage is within 3 minutes of the local community shop and cafe which was well stocked and very welcoming. The cottage has a great stock of cooking implements and the fire was lovely.

Excellent stay

Perfect cottage, spacious clean and comfortable with high quality furnishings and a heating system which was simple to use, always a bonus. It was actually far larger than the pictures suggest. Wouldn’t hesitate to return. The one and only criticism was that there wasn’t a folder with information about the area Where nearest supermarket is Where nearest petrol station Recommendations etc. I did mention this to the management company and they have passed on my suggestion to the owner.

Great village

This barn is in a delightful village with thevHoward's Arms and a fabulous village shop. The barn is a little dated, but comfortable and everything you need is there.

Lovely cottage in the Cotswolds

Well equipped and confortable cottage in the Cotswolds. We had a lovely time. The cottage is very calm and well located near the village shop . Lacking instructions on the heating system that was either off or too hot .
