Manor Farm Cabin, a single-storey lodge consists of a dining table that seats four, and a kitchen with an electric hob and oven, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster. Electric heaters. The sitting room has a woodburning stove and Smart TV. The bedrooms consist of a king-size, as well a as a twin room. Outside, there is a wraparound lawn with outdoor seating surrounded by the countryside and off-road parking available for two cars. You’ll find a shop within 2.5 miles a and a pub within 1.5 miles and please note this is a pet-free and smoke-free property. Wifi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included. Manor Farm Cabin is a perfect base to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Town: Wantage is a historic market town in the Oxfordshire county resting just a short drive from both Newbury and Swindon. The village of Wantage is full of history, being the birthplace of King Alfred, home to the first steam tram in Britain and the town itself has plenty of historical buildings and sights to see. There is so much on offer at Wnatage, for shopping there are a host of independent shops, pubs and cafes such as Dolphin Art, Little Sweetie, King Alfred’s Head and The Bay Tree Cafe. There is of course the market square, which hosts the farmer's markets on Wednesdays and Saturdays plus the impressive Dickensian Evening hosted in December. For essentials, you can find a Sainsbury's and Home Bargins to top up on anything you might need during your holiday. Wantage also enjoys close proximity to many scenic walks and spots at Lord Wantage Monument, The Ridgeway and Ardington Millennium Stones Within easy reach of the town is the equally gorgeous city of Oxford which has further attractions and amenities with Oxford Botanic Garden, Oxford University Museum of Natural History and The Covered Market.

Unsatisfactory in many respects

Needs a thorough clean. Cobwebs and dirt evident. Cooker produced smoke when switched on due ot accumulated grease.Doors and windows sticking. Window stays missing.Heating inadequate. None at all in shower room.Steep step to access was a problem for the elderly.TV did not work at all.Very pleasant young owner but out of his depth as a hirer!
