A perfect getaway

The apartment is perfectly positioned with gorgeous views of the beach from every window. The apartment is on a hill and the walk to the beach, although short, is quite steep, so that may be a consideration for some. There wasn't a single thing we wanted during the stay that wasn't available: it is very much a home away from home. Rachel was a great host, easily contactable and friendly. We had such a wonderful time and definitely intend to return.

This flat in Clifton Court is wonderful. There are the most amazing views from every window. The kitchen is very well kitted out with everything you need to cook a range of large meals. It is immaculately clean. Rachel, the owner, and Sue, the House Keeper are very attentive and helpful. Absolutely lovely. Thanks so much for a very comfortable stay.

Wonderful

We had a fabulous time at this property. We were mesmerised by the stunning views of the sea and coast from every window of the property. Sitting on the balcony gazing at the sea/beach was so relaxing. We could watch the sun descend into the sea and saw the most amazing light effects of the sunset. The property is very well appointed and very comfortable. My wife enjoyed swimming in the pool and often had it entirely to herself. The local walks were a joy: along the beach to Woolacombe, the country path to Woolacombe with a fab cafe that serves excellent vegan food on the way. The trek around Baggy Point with stunning views. All in all and excellent holiday location. Would have preferred a double bed since the flat only has twin beds in it but other than that everything perfect.

Wonderful location and apartment

The apartment was large, 2 bed 2 bath. Big enough for a family. The kitchen was very well serviced. The outstanding part of our holiday was the location. The views out of all the windows was wonderful. even in the rain, just watching the sea and surfers was very relaxing. The beach at the bottom of the hill was a big hit with the kids. They loved it. The indoor pool was just the icing on the cake. We are definitely coming back. We would recommend it to anyone.

Absolutely fab u lous

Wonderful views of Woolacombe bay from every window in the flat are matched by the interior. The owners have thought of everything you can possibly need. The place feels more like a home than a rental which makes your stay even more relaxing. It is also very well serviced by housekeeper Sue., it is clean as a whistle. We loved it.

A lovely apartment

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at your well-equipped apartment. Lovely view of sea and beach. We had some problems being able to get Netflix when we wanted, but other than that were grateful for smart tv. The housekeeper Sue was very herlpful as ever.

Fabulous sunny holiday on the beach!

We had a wonderful stay here. The flat was stocked with everything we could possibly need - children’s games, buckets & spades, binoculars, windbreak, baking paper, foil, sandwich bags, dishwasher tablets and great kitchen supplies. This was particularly useful as we ended up cooking all our meals - the beach cafe stopped serving food too early to have dinner there and the roads were so narrow we were put off from going out for dinner. Sainsburys delivery went very well. The swimming pool was much appreciated by our children and was kept very clean. Fresh yellow roses were a lovely touch - thank you!

Beach apartment with stunning view

Loved it. Took her to young grandchildren to this apartment for a week over Easter and had a fabulous time with easy access to the beautiful Putsborough Sands, mainly sun and lots of surf, great local pubs (especially the Rock inn), and a lovely indoor heated pool. The apartment has stunning views of the beach, it’s very comfortable and extremely well equipped with games as well. We would highly recommend.

Fab apartment in stunning location

We had a lovely week at 21 Clifton court, the apartment was very clean and comfortable and the kids enjoyed the on-site pool which we had to ourselves. The views and location are stunning, great for surfing and exploring the beach. We enjoyed walking to Woolacombe and Baggy point.

Excellent apartment

This was our first trip to Putsborough sands and we loved it. We had a fantastic week with great weather and would highly recommend the location and this apartment. It was very clean, is extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly need (including lots of stuff we took with us just in case!). The views over the beach and sea are amazing - we even had a couple of beautiful sunsets. The onsite indoor swimming pool was the icing on the cake. Well worth a visit and I’m sure we will return. Beautiful Apartment

We had a wonderful week away in this excellent apartment, the views from all windows are stunning! The apartment was spotlessly clean & was very well-equipped with everything you could need in the kitchen. The flowers and drinks/biscuits tray on arrival was a lovely touch . fantastic accommodation makes it a super holiday destination

The best apartment we have stayed in. So well thought out and very clean with everything you could possibly need to make it a fantastic holiday. The only slight downfall is the very narrow lanes to get there especially when you meet motor homes coming the other way.....but don`t let it put you off!

A wonderful beach stay in a picture perfect location

We have just returned from a truly wonderful week staying in Clifton Court in Putsborough. The apartment was perfect for our family of four, spacious, clean, beautifully decorated and the kitchen had everything you could possible need and more. What makes this apartment so special is the the stunning view of the sea from every window. Having a pool onsite was great for our children, they thoroughly enjoyed having a swim at the end of the day. Putsborough beach and the town of Woolacombe are ideal for a family beach holiday. Wonderful apartment with stunning views.

We had a wonderful week here, enjoying the amazing sea views and stunning sunsets. Putsborough beach is very beautiful and is great for bodyboarding and surfing, no matter what the weather is. The kids just loved the pool and used it everyday. Croyde is a lovely place to eat and shop. The apartment has everything you could ever need apart from bath towels (we forgot ours). It’s beautifully decorated, highly functional and comfortable. At nearby Watermouth Cove we went coasteering and spotted dolphins which was a great experience. We can’t wait to return again next year.

The Osborne family spent many holidays at this property when it was the Putsborough Sands Hotel. We always enjoyed family holidays at this beautiful location and when we had the opportunity to purchase an apartment here (in 1989) we jumped at the chance.

When Clifton Court was converted from a hotel into apartments, we were fortunate to secure a prime position—with all six windows offering uninterrupted views of Woolacombe Bay. Situated in the top left corner of the building, our apartment provides panoramic coastal views, a peaceful retreat, and the added privacy of being on the top floor.

We’ve lovingly maintained and upgraded the apartment over the years, ensuring it remains a comfortable, well-equipped home away from home. Recent improvements include a new heating system, carpets, and curtains, all carefully chosen for both style and comfort. With no gas supply to the building, you can relax knowing there’s no risk of carbon monoxide exposure.
