This large modern apartment offers 5 star standards, with 2 bedrooms, one with en suite jacuzzi bath and further shower room. The bedrooms are furnished as a double (master) and two single beds in the other, with a large sofa bed in the living room to accommodate total of 6 people in the apartment. We have furnished the apartment to a high standard to offer the luxury boutique hotel feel but with all the self catering amenities you need to enjoy a home from home feel, including free WIFI. There are double aspect balconies with balcony from both bedrooms and large south facing balcony from the living area with breathtaking views over the Millennium golf course, which surrounds the apartment and the 2 pools, a small paddling pool and semi Olympic swimming pool, landscaped gardens and views from the hills to the sea.

There is a separate fully fitted kitchen offering all amenities, oven, electric hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and kitchen equipment to cater for all needs. An adjoining utility area is large enough for storage of suitcases and golf clubs with an airer for drying towels and clothes.

Beautifully furnished with large dinning and living area to relax and enjoy the surroundings. South facing balcony furnished with table and chairs to enjoy sunrise at breakfast or evening meals in pleasant ambiance and incredible views.

Offering media entertainment with Free WIFI, TV's in both bedrooms and living area, providing some English and Portuguese TV channels. DVD player available in the living room. However you will be tempted away to enjoy the immaculate large gardens which are perfect for picnics with large pools on the complex, it offers an exclusive area to relax even in peak season. All communal areas are maintained and cleaned daily, offering poolside showers and toilet blocks for convenience.

The Millennium and Laguna golf course tee off is a short walk with a lovely clubhouse offering bar and restaurant. The Victoria Championship golf course is 10 minutes walk or 2 minutes drive away.

There are facilities nearby in the 5 star hotel Anantara for those who would like to relax in luxury, enjoying a day in the spa with a massage and beauty treatments.

There is roadside and garage parking and the building has a lift to all floors.

A short walk to the golf course clubhouse offers a social environment for meals or a refreshing drink. The Monte Laguna complex is a great place to spend days to relax or as a base to use the many golf courses or sightseeing the beautiful Algarve coastline with Falesia beach only 2 miles away.

Brilliant as always

We really enjoyed our stay in the apartment.It was lovely to see Lucia again and as usual the apartment was spotless with every facility you require even down to soaps in the bathrooms and a wee complimentary bottle of wine. The complex is well maintained and it was fairly quiet which we really enjoyed. There is a new pingo doce shop within walking distance which is a great bonus. Villamoura is one of our favourite destinations and having a lovely apartment to stay in tops off our holiday.Thanks to Carla, Lucia etc We hope to return soon

Incredible stay!

Such a gorgeous place to stay and our home from home, from start to finish it’s been an absolute dream. Carla and Lucia are amazing. The apartment is so comfortable and the view from the balcony is stunning! We were pleasantly surprised with the glorious weather we had, the final few days not so much but still lovely and warm! We can’t wait to be back next year xxx

Lovely stay in Monte Laguna

Wonderful 2nd floor penthouse property. Check in process was smooth and easy, and communication at all times with the host was quickly responded to. Normally we hire a car but just used uber and taxis this time, average price to the marina was €10. The apartment itself is brilliant. Amazing views over to the Marina and the sea in the distance and also overlooking the huge pool. Air conditioning can be found in the living room and bedrooms and there are secure shutters on all windows. The kitchen came with the most utensils, pans and saucers that I've ever seen in a rental accomodation. The only issue we had was the electricity seemed to trip each time we used the kettle or the microwave whilst the air con was on, but this was only a minor irritation. We wouldn't hesitate to book again when looking for a place to stay.

A wonderful apartment in a beautiful garden.

Another fantastic visit to this apartment. It is spotlessly clean and so well equipped. The garden is amazing and the pool huge, clean and a great place to relax. The owner goes to a great deal of effort to make this a perfect place to hire. We will be coming back again.

A very nicely appointed apartment within a well maintained residential complex.

The apartment was spacious for our 2 big 'uns / 2 little 'uns family. It's furnished to a high standard and the setting within the complex was great. The swimming pool in the gardens was huge bonus - large,well kept and surprisingly quiet and easy to commandeer 4 sunbeds and parasol at any time of day, this was in August too...no need to sneak your towels out there at dawn! The complex seems to have a mixture of lets and long term residents, so it's kept clean, tidy and it really is a tranquil spot. We ate most of our meals on the large balcony, which was also just lovely to relax on in the evenings with a glass of something. The kitchen provided everything required to cook up a storm, although there was a lack of any cleaning products meaning we had to go shopping for scrubbing sponges/dishwasher tablets/bin bags etc... The site really is excellently maintained but a little isolated from Vilamoura itself and there are no shops/bars etc within walking distance.Surrounded by golf courses and other complexes it has the feel of a huge gated community We like to get about so a car hire is essential here and the apt. comes with a spot in the underground car park. The marina at Vilamoura was great, a standard meal for us 4 rocking in at around 100 euros, Olhos d'Agua provides a cheaper alternative as does just eating a few streets back from the marina. The beaches at Praia da Falésia, Salgados, and Sao Rafael are great but drive down to Sagres for the real deal. We also bombed up to Lisbon which looked a fantastic place for a return weekender. Watch out for those road tolls though! Portugal and the Algarve in particular is a great place to visit, this apartment is wonderful for long relaxed pool days, a good base for exploring but perhaps not for picking up too much "local" feel. Would I recommend it? Absolutely without reservation. Would we return to this apartment? Probably not for us. All communications to Carla were answered really promptly by the way, so please ask if you need to find anything out! Muito obrigado!

Lovely apartment

We had a lovely 2 week stay in Monte Laguna. Lucia met us and we found everything to be in order as we had stayed before we were happy to have prompt access to the apartment . We were pleased to have the baby equipment (highchair and buggy) and this was most useful again. We had a very relaxed holiday and the apartment on the golf resort was very quiet as we stayed last week of June into July. The apartment was clean and comfortable and the Wifi reception and English TV channels were a great bonus as the World cup was on during our stay. Our daughters enjoyed visits x 2 to the Family golf centre near the Marina and went twice with their special offer for a second round for only 2 more euros if you return within 15 days. This was a great deal and something to do on a duller day/evening.We did go into Albuferia for some souvenir shopping a couple of times but it is much busier and more touristy than Vilamoura if you enjoy that type of atmosphere. We enjoyed a couple of visits to the International Evangelical church of the Algarve at Vale Judeu Loule and were made very welcome even with a toddler. The lovely beach at Pria de Falesia is a 10- 15minute drive from the apartment and it is quite busy at times but the Vilamoura beach is only a few minutes away and was fairly quiet during our stay. We went into Villamoura Marina most evenings and the journey is 4-5 mins by car. We did eat out quite often and then visited the ice cream shop at Amorinos for a treat. All in all we had a great break and are already looking forward to next year. Thanks Carla for another pleasant stay in your lovely penthouse apartment.

Fantastic apartment. Furnished to a high standard within a relaxing garden.

We had a wonderful stay at this spacious apartment. The owner is very thoughtful and has considered every possible need you might have during your stay. Even providing beach towels for you while you are here. The garden and grounds are a big plus. The garden is a peaceful relaxing space. The pool is huge. The whole apartment is clean and well maintained. We would definitely try to book this apartment again.

Ideal property

We enjoyed a lovely family holiday to Vilamoura. The Monte Laguna complex is an ideal base. Clean, comfortable with every mod Con required. Carla was fantastic with the info upfront and the apartment had a great welcome book with loads of details. Vilamoura itself was a perfect location and close to all main conveniences. Would definitely return to Vilamoura and Monte Laguna, and would recommend to families, couples and groups.

Luxury Stay at Monte Laguna

My family and I stayed in this beautiful apartment at the beginning of July. First impressions only got better as we were shown around the property by the Property Manager, who met us on time, and accommodated an early check-in, which we really appreciated. The apartment itself is beautifully furnished, very modern and contemporary and provided everything you could ever need for a luxurious, relaxing holiday. The pool at the complex is one of the best we have ever had on holiday, allowing for exercise as well as family fun. We did have a few minor problems while we were there e.g the toaster wasn't working properly, but the Property Manager was very easy to contact and was always on hand to help us when we needed her. We had hired a car, but Monte Laguna is a manageable walk, or a short taxi ride away from Vilamoura, were you are spoilt for choice for restaurants and bars. Thank you, Monte Laguna, for a wonderful holiday and we will hopefully be back in the not to distant future.

Lovely holiday in a comfortable apartment.

We enjoyed a lovely 10 day break in this very high spec apartment. We were welcomed by Lucia and were very pleased to have lots of space for our family(including the baby) The apartment is well furnished and the facilities are the best we,'ve ever had in a self catering accommodation, to include a high chair and child's buggy . The pool area was very quiet and there were lots of sun loungers and parasols available and the complex was spotless. The local area is very geared to tourists with local supermarkets nearby .We did have a car so investigated the beautiful Algarve. I would highly recommend Praia de Falesia beach and a walk along the Villamoura marina area is a must. It is cheaper to eat in restaurants which are slightly further back from the main marina if budget is an issue but it's lovely to sit along the shore at the marina and have an ice cream. We even found an English speaking church locally for Sunday service and were welcomed warmly there. We would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone wanting a lovely relaxed break in a tidy complex.Many thanks for making our first visit to Portugal a memorable holiday,we will definitely be back.

Beautiful apartment. Couldn't fault it. Would definitely recommend this apartment.

Stayed here for 7 nights. Three of us, all 50+. Loved Vilamoura. Beautiful area where everything around is meticulously cared for. Found the Marina area could be expensive but just one or two streets back you can find great restaurants at better prices for the same menus. Lovely towns such as Loule close by with amazing markets. Very relaxing!

Fantastic Apartment

Had a relaxing week, with a little golf, in this wonderful, immaculate apartment. Everything you need is to hand. I was not sure whether staying in an apartment would feel as safe as a hotel but I was proved very wrong; in fact very much the opposite. The view from the lounge balcony, which is where we spent most of our time while in the apartment, is absolutely amazing and relaxing in itself. Ate out at the local golf courses and surprised at how reasonable they were, and within walking distance. Definitely considering staying again and recommending to friends.

Fantastic Apartment

Just enjoyed a great fortnight at Monte Laguna - our 2nd visit. The apartment is spacious, very clean and well equipped. We enjoyed the addition of a coffee maker this year which made breakfasts on the balcony even better. The large pool is great for keeping the children entertained with lots of sun loungers and umbrellas. Overall a great place for a family holiday in the sun.

Top class apartment, the view from the balcony and the super pool all made this a great holiday

The apartment was well equipped and furnished to a high standard and includes free wifi. Although it comes with the recommendation to use car hire, it really is only five minutes drive into Vilamoura and you could travel by taxi to the marina or the beach. It was lovely to be able to enjoy the busy marina and the return to the more tranquil atmosphere of the apartment, gardens and pool. The out door space here is great. It's totally enclosed, no worries about the kids. The pool is great for fun or the more serious swimmer if you want some exercise. Surrounding the gardens is the fairways of the Millenium golf course and the club house is only a short walk away, with its very good restaurant. We had a great holiday at Monte Laguna, enjoy great food at the many restaurants around the lively Marina and loved the moles of sandy beaches. But my favourite part of the whole holiday was the time spent on the balcony of the apartment. Whether first thing in the morning, watching the sunrise over the distant hills or enjoying cold drink or meal during the day overlooking the golf course with the sea in the background and in the evening you can look out towards the bright lights of Vilamoura. I can only say we will go back again next year. P.S. The owner Carla is very helpful and supplies a really useful welcome booklet, which covers everything, from how everything works to where are the best places to eat and what days the markets or on.

Great Family Holiday in Fantastic Apartment

Our family of four (with two children aged 9 and 7 years) had a great fortnight’s holiday here in August 2015. The apartment is spacious, well furnished and very clean. We all loved the large pool which didn’t get too overcrowded during our stay and the grounds were large and well maintained. The flat is well equipped with loads of storage space and the provision of a washing machine and covered drying area can really help keep your luggage requirements down – especially when travelling as a family for 2 weeks. Monte Laguna proved a great base to explore the Algarve coast by car. We also enjoyed several strolls round Vilamoura marina and visits to the sandy beach – just a 5 min drive away. Vilamoura resort is very pleasant with the marina lined with lovely bars and restaurants. The children enjoyed the Family Golf, a boat trip and we hired bikes and had a great ride along the coast. The free wifi is a great asset and the collection of DVDs was a nice touch to keep us entertained in the evenings plus Carla’s tips on how to access UK TV. Great weather meant we were able to eat all our meals on the balcony which has nice views overlooking the adjacent golf course. Carla was very helpful in providing advice in advance of our holiday and arranged for a 20 euro box of groceries to be provided on arrival to avoid the need to shop after an evening arrival. My tips on a few small improvements would be the provision of a coffee maker (we bought and left a cafetiere but a filter coffee maker would be great to go with the luxury billing of the apartment) and two sets of keys to help getting through the garden security door if not everyone wants to come back from a swim at the same time. Minor points for an overall very well equipped flat. We would recommend this as a great place to stay in a lovely setting – particularly good for families.

Nice apartment with modern decor and furnishing

The Monte Laguna apartment is set within a quiet complex, within easy access to Vilamoura (5 mins), Albufeira (25 mins) and Faro (20 mins). It is also only 20 mins drive from the airport. The apartment is very modern and is furnished tastefully. We enjoyed the wonderful view of the pool (more later) and the surrounding hills, golf course and villas. There is a large table in the balcony, which is conveniently shaded all day, so we used it for breakfast, lunch and dinner! The living area is compact and we enjoyed the various facilities on offer, such as the smart TV and DVD player. The WiFi was very fast which kept our teenage children happy with their laptops and iPads! The kitchen is well equipped and the two bathrooms are also well maintained. The pool is huge (25m) and is very well kept and was empty most of the time we were there. The underground car park was very convenient as it keeps the car cool and it is very near to the lift up to the apartment. The only slight negative is that we wish there is a larger supermarket near by, as the nearest one is at least 20-25 mins drive. There is however, a small shop only 2 mins drive away but it is more expensive and limited with what it has but fine for smaller things like bread and milk. On the whole, we enjoyed the apartment very much and would recommend it if you wish to enjoy a quiet vocation.

An apartment of the highest quality

We are a family of three (two adults, one teenage boy) and stayed at this apartment from 28.07.14 to 11.08.14. We have visited Vilamoura 10 times over the years and have always stayed at self catering apartments, including the Old Village, Vila Sol, Tivoli Apartments and Victoria Boulevard. However, we all agreed that this was the best apartment and complex we have stayed at so far. I understand that 2014 is the first year it has been available for rental. As such, everything is very new and all the furnishings, utensils and kitchen equipment are virtually unused and everything that you might need is here. The pool area is lovely and, even at peak times, we never had any difficulty finding spare sunbeds; this is something we've always had a problem with at other complexes. There is a great view from the large shaded balcony, with the marina and sea view in the distance. Due to its location, I would recommend hiring a car (as we did) as it's probably too far to walk to the marina, being about a 5 / 10 minute drive. There's easy access to the main coastal road from the complex which makes it easy to reach other resorts - for example we visited Silves and Loule for the markets and spent most days at our favourite beach at Garrao next to Vale do Lobo. There's shaded underground parking available with a lift to the apartment right opposite the allocated parking space. The wifi also came in really useful for checking out restaurants etc. Although we know the area quite well, Carla gave us some great instructions (including photos) of how to get here. I would also say that the in-room welcome pack was the most comprehensive we've seen. In conclusion we had a great holiday at a fantastic apartment and would recommend it highly. Thanks Carla!

Vilamoura Penthouse

We stayed in Carla's condo for three weeks. It was perfect in every respect. Spotlessly clean, very well equipped for the occasional meal cooked at home, wonderful and safe location, a five minute drive from an endless amazing beach, and an easy drive to some truly great restaurants.
