I recently had the pleasure of staying at a cozy cabin at a B&B in Florissant, Colorado, and it was an absolute treat! From the moment I arrived, I was struck by how spotlessly clean the cabin was—everything felt fresh and welcoming, setting the tone for a relaxing stay. The real magic, though, came with the stunning views. The cabin offered front-row seats to breathtaking sunrises and sunsets that painted the sky in vibrant hues. I could have spent hours just soaking it all in. But the true highlight? The deer that wandered by at sunset. Not only did they grace us with their presence, but they seemed to know they were the stars of the show—posing for pictures like they were ready for their close-up! It was such a fun and whimsical touch to an already unforgettable experience. This B&B is a gem for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with a dash of nature’s charm. I’d go back in a heartbeat!
The bed was the perfect amount of firmness and we slept so good! I was afraid of how steep the roads might be getting here but it wasn’t bad at all! 10/10 experience
it was more than what we expected! it was perfect. it was what we were looking for. at the top of the mountain. The view from everywhere you look its beautiful. we loved it! i would highly recommend it. The communication was also great from both, the owner and Heather. The only thing that i had a BUT, its that there was alot of pet's fur/hair everywhere in the house.
Booked this for my husband and I and brought our dog. We both loved the location high up on the hill and the views were spectacular. Enjoyed sitting out at night and looking at the stars. We were frequently visited by mule deer. The area is very quiet and just a short drive to town. While we weren't at the cabin during the day, it was a nice place to come back to in the evening. The kitchen and pantry was stocked nicely. We would stay here again.
We love this place. No complaints! The was firm but we were very comfortable. I loved opening the doors every morning. My hubby kept the hummingbird feeder full. we were so entertained watching them. We saw deer and a double rainbow. We even saw a bear while driving down the mountain. It’s perfect for 2 people, maybe 4 we will be back!
This cabin is perfect! And if you enjoy the wildlife, there’s plenty. We had several deer and lots of chipmunks every single day! We would definitely stay here again!
This was a perfect gem of a place to relax and soak up all the views. The doggie door and fenced in yard was a big hit for Mia living her best life. The cabin was clean and beds were firm. I really enjoyed playing horse shoes, grilling out and when it became dark you can see a million stars!! Lots of seating outside which was great having family over for dinner. I loved this cabin and all the amenities it had to offer! Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us
Gorgeous. Everything was absolutely perfect. Would love to return!

Could be better
Cabin was cute, outdoor area could use a clean up. Kitchen stocked well. Queen bed very hard & uncomfortable (left a day early due to bed being so uncomfortable) Chairs outside lacked cushions as shown in listing. No info on how to work front door lock or floor heaters (after a few tries we got it figured out) Neighbor was upset we were putting the trash out on the day that was told to us put out the trash. Due to the holiday the trash was coming the next day instead of Tuesday. We told her we were instructed to leave it out on that day and we were in fact leaving a day early (actually at that exact time) to go to our next vacation spot and she was not satisfied with that and said she would have to pick up the trash if bears got it so that definitely did not start our morning out good. Centrally located. Did see deer off the back deck which was a plus.

About the host

We are a family of four and our puppy makes five. We are from San Antonio, Texas originally. While in Colorado on business we fell in love with the area. After years of visiting we decided to build our own little get away in the mountain. My husband built all the inside of this cabin as well as the outside shed and chapel. My husband and I wanted to move to Florissant for one year. Our ten year old daughter said she would do it IF Dad builds me a chapel. Well, she got her chapel.
