The property is situated 2km from the sleepy village of Tully Cross in the heart of Connemara. Situated on the Wild Atlantic Way, the property is a stones throw from the Atlantic Ocean. The house is perfectly situated, with superb sea views and has a dramatic backdrop of the mountains. Enjoy the stunning local beaches (1.5km and 4km), hiking, deep sea fishing or fly fish the local mountain lakes and rivers. For the even more adventurous, try scuba diving at the Scuba West Centre (5.5km) or one of the many adventure activities at the Killary Adventure Centre (13km). The village of Letterfrack is a short drive from the house (6.5km) and it is the home of the Connemara National Park. The house is located 20km from the market town of Clifden which has a wide range of shops, restaurants and bars.

Magnificent sea view

No need for TV or pictures on the wall when you have mesmerising views like these. Very spacious, clean and comfortable property. We all loved this place.

Wonderful place

The views from the living room are marvellous, the first night we all sat in front of the window watching the clouds and the occasional sun. The house is spacious and very clean, with good facilities like an espresso machine. The beaches around the area are gorgeous!

Modern, comfortable but not clean. House hadn’t been serviced before our arrival.

Location was perfect. House was comfortable and well appointed. House wasn’t serviced before we arrived. Bed were changed but bathrooms were dirty. Ashes still in the fireplace and no vacuuming done.

The Atlantic in Your Front Yard!

Imagine waking each morning with your view filled with the ocean and sky! This comfortable, well appointed home offers just that. It’s a good base for touring the Connemara coast the beautiful surrounding area. We were warmly welcomed and also given assistance in finding a doctor when when one of our group was feeling ill. Our group of 6 friends was very happy here.

Komfortabel, phänomenale Aussicht

Trotz überwiegend Dauerregen ein sehr erholsamer Aufenthalt. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet, die Küchenausstattung vollzählig und hochwertig, die Betten bequem, Platz war (wir waren 8 Personen) reichlich vorhanden. Der freie Blick auf den Atlantik und die Landschaft sind unvergleichlich. Die Straße vor dem Haus ist wenig befahren. In der Nähe des Hauses gibt es schöne Strände. Der nächste Supermarkt und eine Tankstelle befinden sich in etwa 2 km Entfernung, hier gibt es auch ein gemütliches Pub. Ein Auto ist empfehlenswert.

Beautiful and comfortable

Our family of 8 travelled from the US to Ireland for the first time and were thrilled to arrive at this house. Any questions or concerns we had prior to our trip were answered immediately and the property manager checked in with us shortly after our arrival, making the entire experience stress free and welcoming. The home is newly renovated and well appointed. Clean doesn't begin to describe this home, it is spotless. Day trips were a breeze. Kylemore Abbey is approx. 10 minutes away, the beach is right down the road. Westport, Clare Island , Galway City, and Knock Shrine were some of the other day trips we did easily from this property. Returning to the house with its beautiful views was a welcome end to each day. Picking up groceries in Tully Cross or at Kings down the road was very convenient. For a larger shopping, Clifden is not too far. We would recommend this property to friends and family, and with any luck, we can return someday.

Lovely place to relax

We stayed 9 nights in this amazing house and enjoyed it really much. The weather was typical Irish and we could enjoy the quick changes from sun to rain from the big windows. Amazing the changes in the light over the sea. It was relaxing to watch the ocean from the house. This house has enough space to stay the hold day inside by bad weather. All you needs is there. The landscape from Connemara is beautiful as well. When you love nature and hiking, then this is the place to stay. We liked as well the personal welcoming and service. We had the feeling from our second home.

Amazing Place!

We stayed here a week and it was absolutely stunning! The house was absolutely beautiful and everything was really well fitted out. The kitchen and all the rooms were all really well equipped. This is one of the rare places where the photos do not do it justice - it was even better than it looks. The views from the house were stunning!!! From here we did lots of day trips around Galway, Cliffs of Moher and the Connemara Peninsula. We really loved staying here and were quite sad to leave. The only thing we would have done was use the fireplace but it was full of candles etc but this was only our preference.

Very nice house to rent in Conemara

The listing description was accurate regarding the facilities and layout. Location description could be improved (Next to Tullyc cross / Conemara loop). House very well maintained: clean and all equipment available except internet acces (we knew it). The owner very helpful and easy to contact. I highly recommend this house for the facilities provided and the beautifull view (we spent hours wachting through the windons / living room exceptionnal). Small supermarket at 6 kms / restaurant at 2 kms. Very, very good place to stay.

Traumhafte Aussicht, tolles Haus

Das Haus ist toll mit einem sehr freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Vermieter. Es liegt direkt am Wild Antlantic Way und die Aussicht aus dem Wohnzimmer ist genial. Man kann auf dem Sofa liegen und das Meer betrachten. Es gibt vier Schlafzimmer, ein großes Bad und ein kleines, welches direkt an ein Schlafzimmer angeschlossen ist. Die Betten sind bequem und es funktioniert alles super. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, so dass man dort sich selbst verpflegen kann. Wichtig ist, dass man ein Auto benötigt oder gern mehrere Kilometer läuft. Strand (also Zugang zum Wasser), Einkauf, Pub usw. sind 2 km Minimum. Wir waren mit unseren Ausflügen nur ca. 50 km im Umkreis, aber hatten sehr viel zu sehen und zu besuchen. Fazit: Für einen ruhigen Urlaub ideal.

Zauberhaftes wildromantisches Irland

Schönes Ferienhaus mit einem wunderbaren Panoramablick über den Atlantik. Würden wir jederzeit wieder buchen. Im Ferienhaus gab es keinen Fön, wäre sinnvoll diesen mitzubringen. Das Haus liegt in wildromantischer Umgebung mitten im Connemara Naturpark. Galway, das kleine hübsche Stätdchen Cliften und Westport bis Achill Iland mit seinen schönen Stränden sind in ein bis zwei Stunden gut erreichbar. Zu den Cliffs of Moher sind etwa 3 Stunden. Wir hatten tolles Wetter und eine gelungene, entspannte Zeit in einem wunderschönen Land.

Magnifique séjour

La maison est encore beaucoup mieux que sur les photos, le coin salon est tout neuf avec de beaux canapés. La vue est extraordinaire, le contact avec le gérant hyper facile. Idéalement placée pour visiter tout l'ouest du Connemara. Une merveille !

Wunderschönes Feriendomizil

Wir haben eine Woche lang mit Familie und Freunden in diesem herrlichen Haus mit großartiger Sicht auf den Atlantik verbracht und jede Minute genossen. Neben viel Platz für alle (wir waren vier Erwachsene und zwei Teenager) gab es nichts, was wir im Haus oder am Haus vermisst hätten. Es war ruhig gelegen (ohne Straßenlärm o.ä.) sehr gepflegt, charmant modern eingerichtet und wir wurden durch kleine Mitteilungen schnell mit Allem vertraut gemacht. David stand uns zudem jederzeit mit Rat und Tipps zur Verfügung. Danke! Eine große gemütliche Wohnküche bot Platz für ausgedehnte Mahlzeiten und Spieleabende. Das Haus liegt auf einer Anhöhe, so dass man einen traumhaften Blick auf`s Meer hat und in ca. 15 Minuten Fußweg kann man sogar eine kleine Bucht erreichen und die Füße eintauchen. Die Nachbarn waren sehr freundlich und empfahlen uns Abkürzungen über ihre Grundstücke zum Strand (klein aber fein - bei Ebbe!) zu nehmen. Wir haben viele Ausflüge von diesem Haus aus gemacht, waren wandern, baden, surfen und Bootfahren und haben die Inishbofin umwandert und spektakuläre Küstenabschnitte erobert. Wir waren nicht das erste Mal in Irland und sicher nicht das letzte Mal. Dieses Haus ist toll und unbedingt empfehlenswert.

A beautiful view

We had a lovely stay at this Renvyle house. It was comfortable for four friends traveling together and the kitchen was well equipped. It’s location is great for seeing many sights and the little towns of Letterfrack and Tully Cross are charming and friendly. My only suggestion is that the owner disclose in the description of the property that one should not drink the water but buy bottled instead.
