Our gîte is located in a property of character in the heart of the Parc de la Montagne de Reims.
Halfway between Reims and Epernay, the village of Germaine lies close to the forest and the Champagne vineyards.

Great location

Very nice cottage set in a lovely garden. Good location for visiting the towns of Reim, Epernay and Chalons, World War sites and champagne houses. Also a number of good local restaurants but avoid Bellevue unless you are very very rich. Only negative comment spend 10 euros on some decent hangers!!

Countryside location in the heart of the Champagne area

This cottage is located in the same gated area as the owners house and pool which made for a safe and secure environment. A clean and tidy cottage with every amenity one could require including dishwasher and washing machine (but no access to he pool). We had superb weather and so had barbequed fish and ate at the private, outside table and chairs. Lovely!

Attractive property in peaceful grounds

The gîte is tastefully decorated and well appointed. It is in the grounds of the owner’s property but as the garden is large, there is no problem about privacy.

Superb setting and lovely relaxing stay

Property was perfect for us, total 4 people. Plenty of room and if the weather is fine the outside grounds are a great bonus Half way between Reims and Epernay so easy to visit both. A car is definitely required, private off road parking is available. The owner lives close by if needed for anything but we had no issues. Beautiful area, a perfect short break

Fabulous

The setting is wonderful, very private but Pascale is on hand should you need anything. The property is very well equipped and the shutters meant we had some great lie-ins. The local area is beautiful and some interesting activities, we did a champagne tour and a boat trip. I hope we can come back!

Lovely summerhouse in Champagne

This is a lovely, quiet place to stay in the Champagne region. It is situated in a quiet park 10 minute drive from Épernay. The host, Clement, is very helpful and service minded.

Zeer goede ontvangst en contact met de eigenaar. De ijskast was stuk, maar de verhuurder heeft ons prima geholpen. Het zicht op de tuin en het terras zijn overheerlijk bij mooi weer. De internetverbinding daarentegen was slecht. De foto's op de website zijn ook niet zo duidelijk. Dit verblijf is zeker een aanrader.faarentegen is gewoon slecht.

Wonderful rest after a hectic stay in Paris.

The property is beautiful, and beautifully maintained. All of our rentals have featured modern, stylish bathrooms with what I am told is the Italian style showers. This bath was also stylish but it was also built so that the floor didn’t get soaked as well. Water pressure and temperature were also excellent. The garden has one of the largest maple trees I have ever seen, and I grew up in New England. Parking was fully enclosed and safe. If we ever return to France, this is a place I would want to rent for a month.

Country Bliss in a well appointed small house

This property consists of a 2BR house with beautiful garden and mature trees on a large block an easy 10km north of Épernay. Outdoor dining setting (which we didn’t use too much due to weather) and well equipped internally. Obviously a car is required. A good base for Épernay and villages as well as Reims if desired. Clement communicated frequently before our stay and was waiting there on our arrival, also helpful with suggestions.

Ruhig, und doch nah an den Sehenswürdigkeiten

Das Ferienhaus liegt schön und ruhig in einem kleinen Dorf mitten in den Wäldern. Trotzdem ist man schnell in der Städten Reims und Epernay. Das Haus ist modern und hochwertig renoviert. Es ist gemütlich mit einem schönen Garten. Der Gastgeber ist sehr nett, die Komunikation war schnell, hilfreich und sehr freundlich.

Alles wie beschrieben, sauber , funktional. Die Elektroöfen machen schnell warm. Sehr modernes Bad. Ein- und Auschecken ohne persönlichen Kontakt zum Vermieter. Aber alles ist gut beschrieben. Code für die Tür vorher per Mail bekommen. In Summe echt prima!

Quiet place, near Reims

Nice house in a quiet area on the edge of a nature park. Reims is close by: 15 minutes by train from the station, which is within walking distance. Good facilities, but internet is limited.

Schöne location in der Champagne

Perfekte Lage für einen Champagne Besuch zwischen Epernay und Reims. Helle, gut ausgestattete Wohnung. Schöner Blick von der großen Terrasse in den weitläufigen Garten. Kugelgrill und Zubehör vorhanden. Ein großer Ahorn spendet angenehmen Schatten an heißen Sommertagen.

wunderbar ruhiges und gut ausgestattetes Ferienhaus

Sehr ruhiger und erholsamer Urlaub in einem stilvoll und gut ausgestattetem Ferienhaus. Wir haben den großen, als Park angelegten Garten um das Haus herum nutzen und genießen können. Sehr netter und hilfsbereiter Vermieter.
