Villa Giovanna is conveniently located within easy reach of major highways and other routes to Naples and Caserta, both equidistant from the villa.

Besides it architectural beauty, Naples is the home of two impressive Castles (Castel dell’ovo and Maschio Angioino) and the folklore attached to them. Caserta’s Bourton Royal Palace is a miniature of the famous Palace of Sun King at Versailles. The location of Villa Giovanna allows quick access to Historic Pompeii and Herculaneum, both a must see.

In the same general area we suggest visiting the city of Pozzuolii and Capua with their Amphitheaters, museums and important excavation..

We have not mentioned yet a visit to the islands of Ischia and Capri … loved by everyone who visits them. Other interesting sites to visit is the Sansevero Chapel Museum where you will find the famous masterpiece, the life size “Veiled Christ”, renowned for the tissue-like quality of the marble it was carved from/ (Giuseppe Sanmartino in 1753). Don’t forget your camera!!

Villa Giovanna is an intimate place to stay; with 3 bedrooms (2 double and 1 bunk bed) in total: 6 beds, 2 2 bathrooms. We have a large living room which opens up into a beautiful characteristic garden and swimming pool. A great place to relax outdoors as you organize a fun evening with the BBQ.

First trip 2 naples

Lovely pool nice open space inside needs up dating and quite a lot of maintenance door locks were tricky and ac in main area was poor 2nd shower was tiny so no adult would fit kitchen cupboards wete loose and in need of repair switches fell off walls very overlooked by neighbours also

Very well maintained property with friendly and effective owner

Very good communication before and during stay. The owner met us at the property on arrival and delivered a very concise brief of the property and surrounding area. He also came in most days to service the swimming pool etc. The property is ideally located, only a 20 minute drive into Naples. Would deffinately recommend it to friends etc.

First time in Italy - definitely not the last time!!!

Incredible host, very charming and warm welcome by friendly owners who let us feel like home looking after us throughout the stay. Beautiful villa with all amendments you need to have a perfect short or long stay. We have been provided all details about what can be seen in the surrounding region , local shops and restaurants to enjoy fully our holiday. We can highly recommend the place and accomodation which has fulfilled our requirements beyond expectations! Big thank you to Vincenzo and Tony for the best first time experience in Italy - and definitely not the last time !!! Everything was perfect ! :) Greg & Joanna

Charming villa

Vincenzo and his family were very helpful and hospitable even after I looked myself out! Nice beach walking distance and ideal for day trips in the casserta region. The surrounding area can be of putting but it is a main road that leads to Naples! With family in the region I will no doubt be visiting again.

Very tired villa; terrible area

I would not recommend this villa or area at all to anyone. In addition I will not use this site again or make a recommendation to use it. The reviews appear to be false or certainly unreliable at best. I give it a one star rating only because this is the minimum. This villa was somewhat tired and it seemed unused, it needed to be freshened up throughout and cleaned. The pool needed a clean and the shower leaked profusely. The immediate locality, however, was the worst; it was very dirty with rubbish of all kinds strewn on the pavements. In addition it appeared to be the "red light" district. We felt unsafe and understood why everywhere was gated. When we took our car down to the beach there were men to watch them to make sure they were not stolen or broken in to. We had paid to be imprisoned within a villa. Not at all what we expected from the reviews we read. We left after two days and moved to Sorrento for the rest of our week.

Our overall impression of the villa was great!

We met Vincenzo early hours of Sunday morning & he safely delivered us to the villa, albeit a rather sleepy family! He was very welcoming & showed us around. We had a very hot first week so the air conditioning was much appreciated! Everything in the villa was expected & the amount of space we had with 3 children was fabulous! We all loved the pool & Vincenzo regularly cleaned it, communicating when he would come & to do what. Customer service was excellent, our mobiles weren't working so Vincenzo & his son Tony helped us sort this out, twice! We also had problems with our car which again Vincenzo helped us sort out. We couldn't be more grateful as our Italian is not great! 100% satisfied :-) thank you so much. We had a car for two weeks & visited Pompeii, & went to the areas surrounding the lakes for meals. The local beach was really lovely, earlier in the week quieter, we practically had it to ourselves then Thursday was much busier! We had sat nav so used trip advisor & tapped in our destination, making the journey much easier. Lovely places to go & to see. The second week the weather was a bit stormy in the night & the temperature cooled down, thank goodness. We travelled about more in the day & went to Magic World the water park which we all loved! So all in all a fabulous family holiday for us all - the villa was great, customer service exceptional, weather fab & we cannot thank Vincenzo enough.

All we could ask for and more....

Our overall impression on our stay at Villa Giovanna was superb. It was clean, tidy and very presentable. We were met by the very friendly owner Vincenzo when we arrived who we found as time went by very helpful and obliging. Later during the stay we met Tony, his son and Giovanna his wife who were also very friendly and obliging. Tony speaks very good English and so does Vincenzo. Overall our stay was beyond what was expected and I would recommend this Villa to everyone. The location meant you need a car ideally to be able to see the sights or you could even use local transport. There are many eating establishments along the main road to suit all appetites. If we were to visit the area again, then we would re-book Villa Giovanna with no hesitation. Thank you Vincenzo, Tony and Giovanna for making our holiday one to remember..Lewis, Marisa, Jake and Lucia

Tout est conforme à la description, Tony et Vincenzo sont aux petits soins pour leurs hôtes, des personnes vraiment adorables qui sont là si vous avez des petits soucis, nous avons passés de super vacances. Das Haus war sehr schön und gemütlich. Zum Glück gibt es 2 Klimaanlagen, die den Aufenthalt im Sommer sehr angenehm machen. Der Pool ist super und sorgt für eine schöne Abkühlung. Die Vermieter des Hauses sind super liebe und angenehme Menschen. Bei Fragen und Wünschen stehen sie immer zur Verfügung. Wenn wir nochmal in dieser Region Urlaub machen, dann gern wieder dort.

Accueil et confort.

Vincenzo et Tony nous ont réservé un accueil très chaleureux. Ils ont été aux petits soins avec nous, durant tout notre séjour. La maison est confortable. Rien ne manque. Et la piscine est formidable. Encore merci à Tony pour nous avoir fait decouvrir sa merveilleuse région.

Oasis of well-being and at the same time good location for excursions

Tony and Vincenzo are excellent hosts and support in any questions and have many tips ready to spend a nice vacation. The relaxation begins when the gate opens to the house. The house as well as the garden incl. pool is very well maintained. There is everything you need to relax. The surroundings are not the most beautiful, but the property makes up for it. From here you can make very good trips to eg The Amalfi Coast, Naples, Mount Vesuvius, Pompeii, etc.. We enjoyed the time very much. Thank you for the very nice time.

Superbe vacances

D'abord, j aimerais remercier Vincenzo et Tony pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse. La villa est superbe. magnifique jardin et piscine que Vincenzo vient entretenir pendant le séjour. Ma femme et mes 2 enfants ont vraiment adorés ses vacances. La région est magnifique, il y a beaucoup de choses à visiter et Tony a préparé une documentation sur les principaux endroits à visiter avec coordonnées GPS(restaurant, magasin, pompeii, Naples....) vous pouvez rien rater. Une voiture est indispensable. Allez manger à Naples les pizzas et pastas sont délicieuses Un grand merci aussi à Tony, pour être venu avec moi à la pharmacie quand ma fille a été malade. Je le répète Tony et Vincenzo sont toujours là pour vous. Je crois que j 'y retournerai car je n'ai pas eu le temps de tout visiter. Je recommande sans hésitation Encore un grand merci à Vincenzo et Tony de nous avoir accueilli de cette manière. À bientôt

Magnifique séjour

Merci vraiment à nos hôtes. Tout est fait pour que l'on se sente chez soi. Tout est prêt pour que le séjour se passe de la meilleure des manières. Visites, restos, toutes les indications sont à disposition. Merci pour l'accueil et la gentillesse, père et fils sont formidables, aux petits soins et attentionnés de vos demandes. La maison est très confortable et pratique. Le jardin et la piscine au top. A recommander.... d'ailleurs on y retourne l'an prochain ! Attention qu'une voiture est indispensable.
