Perfect property in Inverness

The apartment looked exactly as shown in the photographs and was immaculate. I appreciated the small details like the complimentary biscuits, provided slippers, and nice soap/shower products. The location could not be better - so close to all the restaurants and shops in city centre.

Lovely Condo in Inverness

David made the check in process easy and the condo is walking distance from many restaurants and sights. There’s a shop around the corner for nights when you want to cook at the comfy and cozy home. Would stay here again!

Convenient location

Our group of four found the property to be perfect for our needs. It's conveniently located close to the city center and just a short walk from the train station. Seeing the Highlands from Inverness

We spent 4 nights in this very comfortable and well-appointed apartment. It was nicely located allowing us to walk to town and to find nearby restaurants. There is a fantastic bakery a short walk away, a large supermarket just as close. Just remember to make dinner reservations in advance, as restaurants book up quickly.

Fantastic stay

What a great location - fantastic property within easy walking distance to great restaurants, pubs, etc. Nice bakery just down the street for coffee and pastries in the morning as well. Next level property with every amenity

Our family spent two nights in this beautiful apartment. Every aspect of it was high end and well considered. Communication with the owner was easy, regular and clear. The location is very convenient to restaurants, the river walk and a wonderful bakery. The fancy espresso machine was a nice and unexpected extra. I highly recommend this place for a stay in Inverness.

The property in Inverness provided a very enjoyable stay. The location was perfect for getting out and discovering a lovely city, beds were very comfortable, and the amenities were welcomed. Inverness Short Stay

The property was very well maintained and well stocked with organic toiletries in the bath and a fully stocked kitchen. The location wasn’t far from the heart of Inverness, an easy walk to the river, shopping, and dining. Free Parking is conveniently located behind the building. Great lodging and location!

My husband and I spent the weekend in this apartment with our 12-year-old twin daughters. It was a great fit for us. Comfortable beds, convenient kitchen, and room to relax. It was convenient located to shops, parking was easy, and we were able to quickly get to and from the airport. The location was ideal for visiting Culloden, Eileen Donan Castle, Loch Ness and other interesting nearby sites.

Beautiful apartment, all amenities picture perfect!

Amazing property. The hosts have put so much detail into this apartment. It was perfect for our stay in Inverness. Cozy living area with games for kids and adults (chess and exploding kittens), adjoining kitchen with really nice table, coasters, plates and all that you need to cook. The bedrooms were comfortable and wonderfully decorated. Thank you for such a wonderful stay. Convenient to grocery store, bakery and a few minutes walk to city centre. 5-stars all the way. :)

Perfect location

Very nice apartment, ideal for four, but was able to accommodate all 6 guests. Spa quality accessories. Susan, our checkin person, was so warm and welcoming! Perfect location near the river in beautiful Inverness. Could walk to many attractions and restaurants. Hosts communicate promptly. If renting soon (remainder of 2023) please ensure you have current WiFi name and password.

Perfect location

This is a very nice apartment. Clean and centrally located. I would caution anyone not very steady or somewhat heavy about access to the master suite. Stairs are steep and narrow and the tub/shower would be a problem to get in and out of. Don’t think you will be doing a quick load of laundry. The washer/dryer takes about 4.5 hours. Nevertheless, we would stay here again. Lots of amenities, pleasant kitchen and sitting room.

Great Location, Wonderful Host

We spent 3 days at this apartment in May/June 2023. It's located about 2 blocks from the riverfront, so it's an easy walk to restaurants, pubs and stores. "The Bakery" is two blocks in the other direction and we can strongly recommend that for breakfast treats. The apartment itself is just like the photos. We found everything to be just right for us. David was a great host. He was in contact with us ahead of time, and greeted us when we arrived. We didn't have any issues while we were there, but he was available whenever we needed him.

I spent a few years living and working in Canada and Australia, and so these two countries will always have a special place in my heart. Some of my other most memorable trips include - Iceland, Mauritius, Borneo, Jordan and India. Currently the wonderfully vibrant city of Istanbul comes at the top of my favourite cities list, with New York, Helsinki, Lisbon and Budapest currently fighting it out for second place!

I love nothing more than meeting new people, from whichever country they may hail. and look forward to making some new friends and acquaintances through Airbnb.

Hailing from the Highlands, I'm bilingual, and a very proud 'Gael' or Scottish Gaelic speaker. I am also a native English speaker. I'm passionate about my country and am lucky to know her very well - having lived and worked in the North, South, East and West. I'm always happy to share my knowledge of Scotland with my guests.

I am in love with music, especially new stuff that I haven't heard - any suggestions? Long term firm favourites of mine are Led Zeppelin, Prince and Arcade Fire, but right now I'm very much enjoying Mercan Dede's modern twist on traditional Turkish music and a taxi driver's Bedouin CD I copied hurriedly in the back of his taxi in Agadir.

Why they chose this property

Housing stock in Inverness City Centre is of pretty low quality and so I spent a frustrating few years searching for the right property, before finding An Iùbhrach (The Yew Grove) when I'd almost given up hope. The location is fantastic - very central to all of the best of the city centre, but in a small stand alone building. Further, on first inspection I could immediately see how the layout offered the chance to make some game changing alterations.

What makes this property unique

Minutes walk away from all of the best of Inverness, the apartment's location is a perfect base for those visiting the city.

From someone who is very self critical, I can in all honesty say that I'm very happy with the way the apartment has turned out. It looks fantastic and is extremely well equipped. I'm especially proud of the luxurious ensuite king room - a haven of peace that takes up the whole of the converted top floor.

The Bose Soundlink system is great as it allows everyone in each of the rooms to listen to the same thing - be it radio stations or music from the 4 corners of the globe - or equally allows everyone to choose their own sounds for their own space.

Another highlight for me is the De' Longhi Bean-to-cup Coffee & Cappuccino Machine. It makes a great freshly ground cappuccino (Using locally roasted beans, of course!), which is a great way to start any Highland day!

I've also loved making the apartment as eco-friendly and socially conscious as possible, and am always looking at ways to further those aims - all suggestions welcome!
