CASA ANJA is a large, comfortable villa, with 4 spacious air-cooled bedrooms, all with en-suite bathroom. Huge fully equipped kitchen includes large fridge, oven, electric hob, dishwasher, microwave, juicer, toaster, etc. Laundry room with washing machine. Large living room with fireplace, Sat TV, DVD, HiFi. Dining table seats eight, great ambiance. Outside dining terrace with table and chairs to seat eight. Pool 5x10 meters, large terrace with eight sun beds, tables, chairs, and BBQ.
Located on the Sesmarias side of Carvoeiro, with a nice ocean view. Situated within 10 minutes’ walk of a Mini Mercado and some local restaurants and bars. The villa is close to the 18 hole Pinta and Gramacho golf courses with driving range, the tennis courts at the Carvoeiro Clube. Just a few minutes’ drive to Cravoeiro with lots of Restaurants, Bars and pretty beaches of Carvoeiro and Caneiros.

Wonderful

Villa was very spacious. Good for families. One bathroom to each bedroom. Great being in a more traditional area, rather than a built up complex with everyone squashed in. Had houses opposite which at first felt like we were overlooked. These weren’t occupied so didn’t have any issues, last day the builders turned up with the stereo up so just glad they weren’t there all week. One side of pool was very private. Amazing view from back of house which three of the bedrooms looked out over. That was the best bit. So quiet and natural. Very airy and lovely breeze with all the sliding doors. Pool was perfect. Hot tub nice for the evening. Luisas restaurant a short walk and great food. Shop a short walk with clothes,shoes,inflatables, DIY supplies lol. Also a small food shop nearby to walk to. 12 euros in minibus to Carvoeiro. Ferragudo pretty and not too far. We had a couple of trips out but to be honest we were so happy to stay in our own private paradise around the pool. Beds were surprisingly very comfortable. We shopped at ALDIs once and also Intermarché. We found the food prices quite expensive in general. Not that cheap to eat out either. For value for money, we would try an alternative country but this villa was great and highly recommend it. Lighthouse bar and Grill, lovely setting for a nice dinner and entertainment. Roundhouse bar was very lively in town. A lot of toys etc in villa, if you had kids. Also pool table, ping pong, sauna (we didn’t use).

Spacious villa

Villa Anja is a lovely, spacious villa. Fantastic pool and hot tub. All rooms clean and a well equipped kitchen. I would use again if 6 of us were to visit Portugal again. Although it can accommodate 8 comfortably. Our host Rudi was there, when we arrived. He explained the equipment and gave us a few tips. Where to eat, best beach etc... We used uber taxis which were reasonably priced. The nearby shop and restaurants are a little limited, but useful. The villa is in a private residential neighbourhood. So after 11pm we felt obliged to keep outside noise to a minimum. We're not party animals, but like to play cards/games in the evening. With some music on. If you're going to party late on, then the location is not for you. Overall, Rudi was an excellent host and the villa lives up to expectations.

Fabulous stay!

We had a great time staying at Casa Anja - the villa is so spacious and had everything we needed for our holiday, including a very well equipped kitchen and beautiful pool. Would recommend having a car but there are a few restaurants within walking distance, as well as the local tennis club. Thank you Rudi and Kathleen!

Just returned from our 4th visit to the wonderful Casa Anja. Perfect for our family holiday. Everything you need at the villa and within easy access to the local attractions , either by foot , taxi or hire car. Hopefully won’t be another 4 years before we’re back this time.

This villa has everything

This villa has absolutely everything. Rudi and his wife were excellent hosts and very informative. This was a large property which was clean, comfortable and catered for all ages. The sauna was outstanding and the hot tub was just a dream. In fact this villa was far better than was shown in the pictures. I would score this villa the perfect 10. Thank you for a fantastic stay and we hope to see you again soon. Roger & family.

Fantastic stay at Casa Anja!

We just got back from a week long holiday with our 2 young boys(6&9). We couldn't ask for more from Casa Anja, as it's got everything we needed, in fact more than everything! Both Rudi & Kathleen are very friendly and accommodating. They greeted us on our arrival and gave us so many recommendations on the beaches/restaurants to go. The villa is not only extremely clean and characteristic, but also comes with excellent facilities which we enjoyed everyday! The location is great too! We hired a car and everywhere is a short drive (within 30mins). There's an excellent restaurant 'Luisa' just a few minutes walking distance away, as well as a few supermarkets within 10mins by drive. The Praia Grande in Ferragudo is under 15mins by car, it's an excellent beach for families! Thank you so much for everything Rudi&Kathleen, we truly enjoyed our stay and are already thinking about going back!!

Amazing Villa

Beautifully presented villa with everything you could possibly need. Great outdoor space with good sized heated pool, the kids loved it. Wifi was also brilliant (essential with kids). It is in a nice quiet location but not much within walking distance. I would say car hire is necessary, with plenty nice places to visit within 15 mins drive. Rudi the host was very helpful and pleasant. We would definitely go back to Casa Anja again.

Great villa for a family holiday very well equipped.

Well equipped villa a perfect place for a family holiday lots of space and everything you would need, with a fab pool and the added bonus of a hot tub, plenty to occupy all in the evening with pool and table tennis will defiantly be back. Met by the owners on arrival and were given all the information about the villa and location of shops and restaurants.

Superb accommodation with great facilities in a lovely area. Loved it!

Casa Anja is a lovely villa with great facilities for a family. Clean and tidy, and with everything you're ever likely to need on a self catering holiday, we had a brilliant week there and would recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere quiet but not remote. Less than 10 minutes to the town and with some great restaurants close by, I'm already planning the return trip!

Fabulous property, we were really looked after, everything you could wish for, perfect location.

Rudi and Kathleen were helpful throughout our stay. The villa was immaculate and modern. The pool and hot tub were gorgeous. Not far from shops and town and multiple beaches with caves. Can't recommend enough.

Beautiful villa, great location!

We stayed at Casa Anja as 2 families (4 adults, 5 children) for 10 days. It has been a fantastic holiday. The villa has everything you could possibly need from the beautiful pool and hot tub to the pool table and TV. The kitchen is very well equipt with little extras like a coffee maker and an juicer adding that extra special touch. The owners Rudi and Kathleen couldn't have been more accommodating. Rudi met us at the villa in then middle of the night after a delay at the airport and showed us around, exploring everything we needed to know. When our son developed chicken pox, Rudi kindly advised us which doctor to take him to. He was also available to provide other advice on the local area. The villa is 5 minutes from a beautiful little beach with a snack bar. 5 minutes in the other direction is Carvoeiro which is really pretty and has plenty of places to eat and has live music in the square in an evening. I would recommend this villa to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay, but close to plenty of beautiful beaches and coves. I would recommend hiring a car to get around. (The supermarket is a 6 minute drive away). Thank you Rudi and Kathleen for a fabulous holiday!

Lovely villa a great base to explore .

We were a party of eight adults so loved the fact we had a double bedroom and ensuite each , the rooms were of a good size and with a nice decor. The villa is spacious with a good size kitchen with all necessities provided . The outside area is excellent with a heated pool and hot tub with a BBQ and sink area . A pointer to note no pool towels provided this is not a problem if you know before you pack ! This is a quiet location although neighbouring dogs can noisy at times a taxi for us cost €10 to go to carvierio so it's no problem to go out for the evening . The owners are friendly and accommodating I would recommmend a stay here .

Fully equipped and luxurious

This was our 5th time in Portugal and this was by far the best villa we have ever stayed in. The villa was huge and had everything you need and more Swimming pool, Jacuzzi, games room even a full size sauna! Any requirements and questions are quickly responded to by Rudi, resulting in a fantastic holiday. Thank you :)

Outstanding

We arrived at the villa in August 2016 for a family holiday - 6 adults, 2 children and a baby. We booked after seeing the villa on the internet. Our initial common concerns over fraudulent advertising were listened to and addressed promptly and professionally by the manager Rudi. When we arrived, we were thrilled to see the quality of the accommodation; 4 en suite bedrooms and a very well equipped kitchen. The pool area was excellent, consisting of a good sized pool, a hot tub and a well appointed barbeque area. There was also a table tennis table and a pool table in the basement. We were met at the villa by Rudi the manager who was very helpful throughout our stay. We had maid service twice a week and the pool was maintained twice a week. They say seeing is believing and we could not believe the quality of the villa which is set in a quiet area of Carvoeiro. We could not fault the holiday and would definitely return to the villa in the future. In our opinion car hire is essential.

A fantastic villa

A fantastic villa with everything you need for a lovely holiday. Rudi and Kathleen were there to meet us when we arrived and were really helpful. The pool was brilliant along with the hottub, sauna, pool table and table tennis table, so we were entertained fully! Would highly recommend villa for a family holiday as area very safe and quiet. Mini market, cafes and restaurants a short walk away.

Lovely sized villa, well equipped & well situated.

We had an excellent family holiday at the villa which was well located. The facilities were excellent which included a heated pool, games room and jacuzzi. The villa was well equipped with an excellent BBQ facility. The whole family throughly enjoyed the holiday and the facilities on offer. We were made very welcome by the hosts Rudi and Kathleen and found the cleaning and servicing of the villa and the pool to be excellent and would certainly consider using the villa again in the future.

very large, clean, well equipped villa

Peaceful location, walking distance to a few lovely restaurants, short drive to beaches and carvoeiro. Villa very spacious and well equipped. property very clean and well maintained. Manager was very helpful and on hand if we had any problems. Not far from Zoomarine, Silves and Bulldog Buggies for days out.Stayed for 10 days with midweek clean which was nice. Would definitely recommend and we hope to visit again.

Great Villa matched description perfectly.

Beautiful family orientated villa

We visited the villa at the end of August, 4 adults & 4 children. The villa is situated in a lovely quiet area but still pretty central to main attractions like water parks, Zoomarine etc. A hire car is a must. The house and gardens cater perfectly for a large family, lots of seating inside & out. Pool area, bbq & Jacuzzi are fantastic, kids made full use of all the facilities, table tennis, pool table etc.. Owners we're really, really helpful, quick response to any enquiries made. All in all a wonderful holiday in a lovely clean, modern villa. Would definitely return.
