Farm house in Haut Beaujolais / South Burgundy

An old farmhouse on the top Beaujolais newly renovated holiday home for up to 12 people.
Situated in a small hamlet in a dead calm, along a river full of fish, it includes a detached house with a tasting room in a vaulted cellar in the basement, a large fully equipped kitchen, living room with its fireplace and wood-fired heating, bathroom and toilet on the ground and 4 bedrooms upstairs.
There is also an ancient farmhouse, barns, sheds, stables and 2 large barns over to game rooms if it rains.
A wide awning for summer feast with a huge table that seats 20 people in shelters, a large courtyard, a terrace and a garden with an above ground pool! Not to mention a great bbc to roast for the family and friends.
For walking activities, trail, mountain bike or motorcycle enduro / road, a multitude of forest roads are directly accessible within a minute. Eight kilometers, it is possible to walk around the beautiful small town of La Clayette along the narrow streets of the city or along the lake to the majestic castle. Tasting the wines of Beaujolais is not far away, and the visit of the beautiful historic town of Cluny. The Brionnais region with its castles and history, are also significant points of interest. For lovers of outdoor pools, the village of Matour, the city of La Clayette and the Lake of the Pines offers all the possibilities of the joys of swimming for young and old!

Gîte avec du potentiel

Le gîte pourrait être magnifique si des travaux d’entretien et d’amélioration étaient réalisés.2 chambres n’ont pas de volets et pas de rideaux occultants… dommage pour la qualité de sommeil.Prévoir tout le nécessaire car pas de produits ou de linges de maison pour dépanner.Emplacement idéal dans une très belle région.

Nous avons réservé ce gite pour un sejour de 2 jours à 10 personnes. La maison est tres bien. En pleine campagne avec des chemins pour se promener et de l'espace dedans et dehors. On a passé un très bon séjour.

Super séjour

Nous étions 5 amis dont deux couples sans oublier notre chien. Nous avons été charmés par la beauté de ce lieu, la tranquillité et l’espace qu’il offre. Tout ce dont nous avions besoin était présent. Les extérieurs sont parfait. Lieu incroyable si vous aimer passer du bon temps , barboter dans la piscine, les barbecues et taper la boule. Nous y reviendrons assurément. Contact très facile avec les voisins qui s’occupe du gîte. Le propriétaire est également très réactif aux messages.

Séjour agréable mais avec des bémols

Le gîte est sympa, situé dans un endroit calme, les villages au alentours sont très beau,... L'accueil par les voisines étais très bien, très gentil (les voisins aussi) Le seul bémol fut la propreté du gîte dès notre arrivée nous avons du laver les verres,.. Petit bémol aussi au niveau de l'éclairage , la seule pièce étant vraiment éclairée étais la cuisine (seul pièce avec un éclairage au plafond) il manquait deux ampoules (une qui manquait et une autre grillée). Et attention à la barrière des escaliers l'attache du haut c'est enlever. Pour conclure le séjour c'est bien passé il faisait beau le cadre était agréable malgré quelques bémols

Belle maison mais mal entretenue

La maison et le cadre aux alentours sont superbes avec de l’espace et du calme pour se détendre. Malheureusement nous sommes arrivés dans une maison mal entretenue avec une piscine verte et inutilisable malgré toute la bonne volonté des voisins presents pour nous aider, un micro-ondes qui nous à lâché dès le premier jour, une vitre de porte cassée et dangereuse pour nos enfants, un cuvette de toilettes cassée ( ennuyant surtout quand il n’y a qu’un wc), un frigo qui fuyait, le bbq inutilisable tellement il était sal et troué,… Bref la maison à un super potentiel et est dans un cadre magnifique, mais avec un plaisir gâché par ces nombreux problèmes. Au final la maison est trop cher pour les prestations qu’elle apporte. Le propriétaire est toujours resté disponible mais nous avons quand même du composer avec un grand nombre de désagréments dont nous lui avons fait part dès notre arrivée. Si cela était peut-être exceptionnel, un geste commercial de sa part aurait été un minimum aux vues des désagréments subis pendant notre séjour.

Endroit calme et reposant, propriétaire sympathique et facile à joindre, par contre propreté de la maison et des équipements négligée !! Vaisselle grasse, barbecue dégoûtant, légos retrouvés dans la cendre du barbecue, piscine moyennement entretenue, un drap sale avec une grosse tâche, plusieurs équipements cassés... De plus, pas d'Internet alors que wifi précisé dans l'annonce. Le propriétaire était au courant qu'il y avait des perturbations sur le réseau mais ne nous a pas prévenu. Nous aurions pu anticiper avec une clé 3G par exemple... Ou télécharger des musiques... Heureusement que nous étions un bon groupe et que nous avons passé un agréable week-end malgré tout. Expérience très mitigée.
