We had a lovely short break at the farm. It’s up on a hill, approached by lanes full of wildflowers and has beautiful views. We stayed in a small cottage next to the house and enjoyed home cooked breakfast in the farm’s dining room. The cottage was very comfortable, spotless and well equipped. Sandra is wonderful host. We enjoyed long conversations and being shown around. It was also very special for our 12 yrs old nephew who took part in feeding calfs and lambs and loved watching swallows flying around the old stone farm buildings.
Our boys had a brilliant time, Sandra was very welcoming of them watching the calves being fed and exploring the farm. A beautiful spot, great breakfast!
We had a very happy few nights at Enchmarsh Farm. Our rooms were cosy and comfortable, and sell set up for a family with young children (including toys for our youngest). Sandra was very welcoming, and the kids loved feeding the calves and admiring the tractors. They ran snail races on the old stone walls and generally made themselves immediately at home, with Sandra's kind encouragement. The old farm is a really special place, in a beautiful part of the world. We loved it.
My family and I had a great stay at Sandra’s farm. We cannot praise Sandra highly enough. We had some lovely breakfast and dinners, great conversation but what amazed us the most was how much she enjoyed taking my boys (ages 3-5) around the farm to help feed the cows and sheep. We’ve been to many places to stay, both within England and abroad but this was by far the boys favourite holiday. Thank you Sandra! We look forward to coming back.
We loved every moment of our stay with Sandra at Enchmarsh Farm - such a relaxed homely feel, nothing was too much bother and the beauty of the surrounding countryside was a real treat!
Perfectly placed for walking, visiting historical sites, and central to a lot of pretty villages with excellent eateries. Highly recommend!
Absolutely brilliant, I went away with my to grandchildren I was a little apprehensive travelling with them on my own , but Sandra made us most welcome and we had a great time the girls loved the farm, they feed the animals and got to ride on the quid , for me and the girls it was perfect it felt like home , we ate two night and the food was beautiful homemade , we will of course be going back and I would recommend this B and B to anyone :)
We enjoyed our stay very much. The location of the farm is lovely with brilliant walking from the door and wonderful views of the Shropshire hills. We were well looked after by Sandra who also provided delicious breakfasts and evening meals. Thank you
We really enjoyed our Easter weekend at the farm, Sandra was a brilliant host the breakfast was top notch and bedrooms were very cozy and comfortable. The kids highlight was feeding the cows . We went on some lovely walks and the local pubs had great local beers and food on their menus.
Would definitely go again
Sandra is such a lovely person, she made our stay comfortable. Our room was lovely, comfortable beds and great view for the little window, very charming with beams etc. The food was great, the location good for getting around and seeing things in the local area. There are some great places to eat nearby and nice shops, things to see and places to walk.. The farm is a working farm and Sandra was happy to show my daughter how the cows were milked and the baby’s fed, and you could tell they were well looked after animals. It was a lovely experience and if I am in that part of the country again I would definitely stay there.
A working farm in a beautiful setting, very much a family home. Comfortable rooms (although you do need to be able to manage narrow, steep stairs and uneven floors), and excellent breakfasts, but the best thing of all is definitely the host: Sandra is so friendly and helpful; we felt very well looked-after.
Absolutely fabulous stay. Made to feel very welcome. Sandra is great host and makes a excellent taste breakfast. Beautiful county side and amazing sunset. Highly recommend .
Visited with grandchildren aged 3 and 5. Sandra was so friendly and accommodating offering delicious breakfasts and great value evening meals. Accommodation was clean and welcoming. Beds lovely and comfortable we struggled to get up. Perfect spot for family breaks and walking in Shropshire.
We just spent a wonderful weekend with Sandra on her farm in a very quiet corner of Shropshire. Sandra was a most attentive host, who cooked us marvellous breakfasts and dinners! The room that we had at the top of a 300 year-old farmhouse was comfortable but full of character. It's a working farm, so if you love livestock, then this is the place for you too!
The hostess was the most accommodating and friendly that I have ever encountered. The food and accommodation was faultless and nothing seemed too much trouble. The location was set in a beautiful landscape and was within easy reach of Shrewsbury a town which is well worth visiting plus numerous other places of interest are also within striking distance.
I booked to stay for the weekend for me and my dog. Had a relaxing stay, slept really well. Spent most of my time hiking but was nice to come back and spend some time with baby cows!
Would stay here again :)
