Our private Villa is fitted to a luxury standard and is located 25 mins drive from Arrecife airport, 3km from Playa Blanca town centre and 5 mins walk from the sea front promenade which spans the shoreline from the Lighthouse to the Marina. Within a 5 minute walk there are the local shops at Faro Park, restaurants, cafe and bars. Enjoy the views of Montana Roja and Fuerteventura while you relax and enjoy a well earned holiday. The main bedroom has air conditioning/heating and both bedrooms have shuttered windows enabling the rooms to remain cool and provide a darkened sleeping area if required. A private heated swimming pool is located to the rear of the house and is set in a walled and planted garden.Private parking spot to the front of the villa. Beach towels are provided and there are two bicycles -1 lady and 1 gents for guest use. Local housekeeper and a courtesy call during your stay. The Villa has everything to make this a 'home away from home' in a peaceful and tranquil setting. Paradise! Villa Dolores accommodates up to 4 adults (children aged 15 or over).

Winter sun

The villa was well maintained and comfortable with a nicely heated decent sized pool which we made good use of. It is located in a quiet area which is exactly what we wanted, a mix of owner/ occupiers and rented villas. Plenty of kitchen utensils etc and the highlight of my wife’s holiday a good washing machine😄

Everything we needed

Situated in a quiet residential area, the villa was clean fully equiped and well presented. The villa provided us with all we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Heated pool a bonus in late October and was pleasantly warm.Would definitely consider booking this villa again.

Luxury Villa

Recently returned from 10 lovely days at Villa Dolores. A beautiful villa with everything you need to relax. Plenty of outdoor space with the added benefit of the heated pool. Detailed instructions provided by the host Cheryl for both the villa and directions from the airport. We highly recommend Villa Dolores and will be back in the future.

Great villa

Beautiful villa close (10 minute walk) to several bars and restaurants. Short taxi ride (7 Euros) to Playa Blanca and Playa Marina (10 Euros). Would definitely return. Highly recommended.

Well equipped, spacious and quiet!

We stayed in this lovely villa for the first time in March 2023, and were so impressed we've booked again for 2024. It was clean, spacious and well equipped. Also the rank of shops and restaurants are only a 10 minute walk away. Many moons ago we may have preferred a more lively location, but we're too long in the tooth for all that now. It was so peaceful and quiet, just the tonic for a relaxing breakaway. Thoroughly recommended!

Fabulous villa ina great location

Villa Dolores is a lovely, clean and well equipped villa. Everything you need for a relaxing and comfortble break is provided. It is furnished well both inside and out and the pool and terrace are excellent and a real sun trap. The air conditioning was a welcome addition in the main bedroom however if there were 4 guests, the lack of air conditioning in the 2nd bedroom could be an issue. The villa is in a pleasant residential area with a few excellent restaurants and bars and two small but well equipped supermarkets 10 mins walk away. There is a regular and cheap bus service to Playa Blanca and taxis are reasonable. We also strolled along the coastal path to Playa Blanca which took around an hour. Overall this is a lovely villa in a good location and we hope to return before too long.

Villa Dolores

Just home from a fabulous stay in the really beautiful Villa Dolores. Perfectly located only a few minutes from local amenities with gorgeous views of Montana Roja and 2 minutes walk to the sea. Would highly recommend this a stay here and will hopefully be back. Also, Cheryl and Howard were fab with communications, thank you both for letting us stay in your gorgeous home x

Villa Delores - Sept 2022

Everything about our stay at Villa Delores was excellent and exceeded our expectations. The villa was spotless and had everything we required. Plenty of bedclothes, towels and beach towels provided. Also hand soap, toilet paper and some kitchen essentials provided. The villa is close to some excellent restaurants at Faro park but also has great cooking and bbq facilities. We had a great relaxing time at Villa Delores and would not hesitate to return in the future. This property is a credit to its owners.

You won’t be disappointed

Really nice villa with everything that you need and more for a great holiday. Lovely big comfortable bed with very good linens and fluffy towels. Nice view from the very pleasant pool area and across the road from a coastal path, great for morning walks. Good supermarket and a couple of restaurants 5 minutes walk away. Would definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit to Lanzarote.

Fantastic Villa in peaceful location

Just returned from Villa Delores and had a fantastic break with great weather. From the offset the communication with the owner Cheryl was great and she did everything to ensure we had a smooth check in and check out process. The villa itself was just what we were looking for, great outside and inside space in a peaceful location. The area around is great for long walks and close enough to the local amenities so for us there was no need for taxis unless we went to the Rubicon marina. Would highly recommend this villa and definitely book again.

Fab post COVID short break

Lovely well equipped Villa in a quiet area but close to all amenities and good choice of restaurants in Playa Blanca. If you don’t have a car (or don’t want to drive) there is also a great bus service taking you anywhere in resort area for €1:40. Pool in the villa was lovely as was the air conditioning in the bedroom. We would definitely stay again!

Home from Home.

The villa is lovely and comfortable and of a very high standard, has everything you could want for a fantastic holiday. The location is quiet and peaceful but close to bars and restraunts locally and not too far from the centre of Playa Blanca, I would recommend a car though if you are in later years as we are. We would have no hesitation booking to stay again.

Delightful Delores

We recently returned from an 8 night May break at Villa Delores and can confirm that all the excellent reviews previously posted about the villa and the owners ,Cheryl and Howard are 100% . Cheryl was absolutely superb from the start of the initial enquiry right through to returning back to the UK. Cheryl responded to all requests and queries almost immediately which was refreshing and professional compared to previous experiences with other Villas that we have stayed in . The pack that was sent prior to the stay covered everything off that we needed with detailed instructions on how to get to the villa from the Airport , entry to the Villa and loads of other valuable information on the Villa , the immediate area and island itself . Upon arriving we walked through the front dooor and new straight away that we had made an excellent choice . We walked into the Lounge and kitchen area and felt straight at home. You will find everything you need in the kitchen ,which although sounds obvious sometimes is not the case. The lounge was very comfortable with Leather sofas and a flat screen TV with multiple English channels if required . There are 2 bedrooms . The main having a kingsize bed with a really comfortable bodyform mattress with doors that open out to the pool area . There is also ample storage room with a massive wardrobe ,2 bedsize chest of draws and a larger set of drawers -more than enough for 23k each of bag allowance . There are 2 large bathrooms 1 adjoining the main bedroom . This one has a bath and shower whilst the 2nd room has a lovely large walk in shower. No issues with water controls and copious amounts of hot water if required. Towels are provided for both washing,showering and for poolside which is great and saves on luggage weight. The heated decent size pool area is superb and is in the sun all day long although there is plenty of shade if required and there is also a BBQ which we used 1 nt. The villa is on a very quiet private estate near enough to the main resort but far enough away from the crowd. Taxis are quick and easy . 10 mins and e5.50 to get into town . There are some nice restaurants 10 mins walk away and a good mini supermarket as well. The best value main shop we found was SPAR in Cala Limones not Super Dino . This was our first trip to Lanzartote . We will return some time in the future and will look no further than Villa Delores . The problem will be trying to get a booking as it is so good .

Fantastic Luxury Villa

Spent 4 nights here in April 2019. The villa was fantastic, a home from home, spotlessly clean and had everything you could need. The weather was great and the location is excellent to visit everything on the island. Nice restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again and would thoroughly recommend it to couples, families or friends.

Excellent home away from home

Our third (or fourth?!) visit to Villa Dolores and as good as ever - so good we took friends this time!! Once again we found the villa was spotless, welcoming & comfortable. Improvements to the garden have just made this lovely home even better giving additional shelter and privacy in the garden. We had another super holiday thanks to Villa Dolores and the dedicated team that keep this lovely ‘Place in the Sun’ running like clockwork. Nothing is too much trouble and we have been made to feel so looked after. Thank you so much- we can’t wait to come back next year. The private cul de sac the villa is situated in remains just as peaceful and well maintained as ever. The sea views, excellent amenities locally, all serve to make this the ideal retreat for some real R&R. Thank you Cheryl & Howard for letting us use your gorgeous home again. I cannot wait to get back there!!

3.5 weeks in villa Dolores

We really enjoyed our stay in villa Dolores, a couple of minor issues that are not unusual in lanzarote but Howard and Cheryl dealt with them immediately. Both Howard and Cheryl are lovely owners and they have a lovely villa. Would we recommend it ?, well we've booked 8 weeks in Dolores next year, we think that says it all ! 😀

Having visited Lanzarote on many occasions we couldn't think of a better place to buy. We were attracted to the warm all year round sunshine and laid back lifestyle which appeals to people of all ages and is a complete contrast to our everyday busy lives in the South of England. We visit as often as possible to recharge our batteries at this beautiful, tranquil villa.

Why they chose this property

There were many reasons why we decided to purchase in Lanzarote–flight time is just under 4 hours, the time zone is the same, the Island is so beautiful and unspoilt and of course the guaranteed sunshine all year round.We chose Playa Blanca well because in our opinion none of the other resorts can compete. Playa Blanca has it all - low rise, well planned resort with the most breath-taking views and beaches and just 25 minutes drive from the airport.A few minutes walk from the coastline which hosts 2 beaches–Playa Montana and Flamingo and the local shops are just around the corner.The town of Playa Blanca is a 5 minute drive away.When we viewed the property with its location just a few minutes from the coast we just knew this was what we had been looking for.

Villa Dolores, detached and built to a very high specification, large garden, private pool (electrically heated), private parking, marble flooring throughout and high ceilings in the lounge and master bedroom to give a light and airy feeling. Newly fitted air conditioning/heating in the main bedroom.
