Villa Regina is a lovely and quiet villa, located at the edge of the charming village Agia Efimia. The village centre with its all amenities is within easy walking distance (5-10 min) from the Villa and offers all you may need during your holidays: little beaches, idyllic coves with crystal clear waters, shops, friendly restaurants, fantastic bakeries, butchers with local fresh products, boat rental, a diving school. A car rental is recommended for exploring the island but not really necessary to spend here peaceful and relaxed holidays.

The Villa has been completed in 2014 and offers high quality, modern accommodation. It is fully air-conditioned (bedrooms plus living-room), beautifully furnished and well appointed with fittings of the latest and modern standard. A private pool, private, shaded terraces and a shaded BBQ-dining area invite you to spend a lazy and warm day outside. Beautifully kept and well located villa

From start to finish, this was a most positive experience. The villa is very clean and well equipped. The delightful owners have a smooth and efficient, yet entirely unobtrusive, system in place. The pool is cleaned regularly as is the villa, with bedding changed and fresh towels provided. Nothing is too much trouble and a much appreciated welcome pack of basic food and drink is there when you arrive. The outside areas of the villa are spacious with multiple options for dining and plenty of shady spaces. There is a barbeque, multiple sunbeds, tables and chairs, a covered area and two large sun umbrellas. The main bathroom is upstairs and the second one is downstairs. The main bedroom has a very comfortable and large bed and the second bedroom has two singles. Both bedrooms have large balconies with a table and chairs and nice views. There is efficient air-conditioning upstairs and down. The kitchen is modern and well equipped and the washing machine is located in the basement. The villa is a five minute walk to the harbour waterfront with its wide choice of cafes, bars and restaurants. Around the corner from the harbour are sets of access steps to several separate small pebble beaches that are never too crowded and give great snorkelling access, with lots of fish to see. We really enjoyed our stay and had to drag ourselves away!

Paradise

Once again an outstanding holiday in Villa Regina. Immaculate, spotlessly clean villa with everything you could wish for from the inside and outside areas. Eleni is amazing and her welcome is the best I have ever experienced from a villa host. The contact and help from the property manager was faultless as well. Can not thank them enough for our amazing break.

A Fantastic Villa

We had an amazing time at this Villa. We were greeted with a great welcome pack, milk, bread butter, wine etc. Given we arrived very late, this was very welcome. The Villa itself was very clean and had all the ammenities we needed, it is also a 5 minutes stroll to shops and restaurants. Thank you Eleni and family for hosting us

Villa Regina

We had a simply wonderful time. Private villa with excellent facilities and very helpful hosts. The location is in easy walking distance to the centre of Agia Efimia and the bigger resort of Sami is about a 15 minute drive. There are plenty of taxis too.

Villa Regina - Top Recommendation

What a wonderful 10 days in Agia-Efimia! Our taxi transfer had been organised for us, so we were met at the airport and driven to the villa. We were greeted on arrival and made to feel at home. The provisions that had been provided to us was outstanding: white wine, eggs, butter, tonic water, water, milk, cucumber, tomatoes, bread, fruit juice and I have probably missed some items - wonderful gesture. The villa was spotless, great air conditioning, pool cleaned every morning and house cleaned 3 times. Stunningly, there were more gifts: homemade red wine, Baklava and a gift for every member of the family on departure. It was a very quick in to the town and on the nights that we ate out, we did not have a bad meal. If you want a holiday in a fantastic villa with fantastic hosts and blue sky and sunshine then I highly recommend this villa.

Top notch villa and area

The villa has everything you need and in a good location for exploring the island. Regarding its immediate location it is within easy walking distance (less than 5 minutes) of all the local ameneties and the pretty harbour. Our host Eleni was superb!

Fabulous villa!

We had such an amazing stay. The Villa, the location and the people were all so friendly. We were welcomed in person and shown around and there were basics (and wine!!!) left for us. I had a few questions throughout the stay which were all answered quickly. Very very lovely stay and would love to come back! xx

Amazing Holiday

Everything about our holiday was fabulous from beginning to end. A big thank you to Eleni for our amazing welcome and for all the items left in our fridge for us to start off our holiday ! Also for the very thoughtful local gifts given to us before we left. The villa is so fantastic in every way from the space both inside and out, the cleanliness of both house and pool, how well equipped it was and all the facilities available for us to enjoy outside living in the sunshine. Eleni is exceptional as is her property ! The situation of the property could not have been better so close to the centre of the village yet very peaceful. We will most definitely return. Thank You.

Perfect location

A fabulous holiday in this wonderful villa. Five minutes walk to the beautiful harbour with lots of restaurants and fantastic views. Villa has everything you need and the pool area has great shade for very hot days. We arrived to some essentials in the fridge which were very welcome and a midweek bottle of home made wine. We had the best holiday!

Fantastic Family holiday

We couldn’t have had a better holiday in Villa Regina. We were met by the owner, Eleni, who was so accommodating. She greeted us with a very generous welcome package which was much appreciated. The villa is really well appointed to an excellent standard and more than met our needs. The pool area was just gorgeous and we all spent many an hour in it and around it. Thank you Eleni for the delicious cakes which were a lovely surprise mid holiday, as were the very thoughtful leaving gifts. We had a BBQ whilst at the villa and it’s the cleanest we’ve ever experienced in a villa holiday. I must give a shout out to the Pergola restaurant - 2 minutes walk from the villa and so good. We visited 6 times during our 14 night holiday. The villa is very close to the centre of Agia Efimia and an excellent base to explore this beautiful island.

Perfect holiday

Regina villa was just perfect! Everything had been thought about to make it home from home. From start to finish with lovely greeting from Eleni and welcome pack best we have had. The pool was kept lovely and clean as was the villa. Bed was so big and comfy as was settee. Aghia Efimia such a friendly village we would definitely recommend and return.

Jewel of Agia Effimia

Villa Regina was a total delight for our family. Newly built and beautifully appointed. Located less than 5 minutes walk from the picturesque harbour and plentiful good quality family run restaurants, it provides a perfect base to explore the island and soak up the amazing Kefalonia delights. Outside accommodation and pool were excellent- definitely the best we have experienced in Greece. Our host was amazing!! We were welcomed with cake, fizz flowers and balloons to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Nothing was too much trouble including printing out boarding passes twice as we accidentally threw the first lot away. We will be returning for sure.

Fantastic villa in beautiful Kefalonian port.

Beautiful and well maintained villa with great amenities. Close to town and all shops and tavernas.Easy booking process With owner Lida who always responded quickly and Must mention incredibly hospitable and warm manager, Eleni. Thank you for welcome pack which was so appreciated after late arrival.We were here through the cyclone and AgiaEfimia sustained some damage but the resilient people of the village faced the challenge of repairing and rebuilding with grace and humour. Despite the challenges incurred because of the cyclone,the people we have encountered along with the mostly good weather We have had a wonderful holiday.

Wow..Amazing

We have just arrived home after an amazing week in Villa Regina. This property is in the most perfect location if you didn’t want to hire a car, just a very short walk to the harbour with an abundance of Greek tavernas. The villa is so well maintained and spotlessly clean, the views are breathtaking! Eleni is lovely and so welcoming, nothing was too much trouble ( thank you for making our last day less stressful).....the welcome pack was well received and so thoughtful plus the mid week wine from Elenis husband was lovely. The leaving gifts were just amazing. We will definitely return to stay here. Agia Effimia is a stunning gem in Kefalonia. Thank you Eleni and team for making our week extra special. Wonderful villa

Lovely villa, very clean, well maintained, well equipped.

Great holiday in a lovely villa. The villa is well equipped, gardens and pool side are beautiful. We watched swallows drinking from the pool everyday. Very nice to have shaded areas to sit under in the heat of the day. We didn't use the barbecue but a great addition to the villa. Everything we needed and more. Owner in every few days to clean and change bed linen. Also a laundry room, very useful when travelling with cabin luggage only. We can't wait to return. Several small supermarkets nearby (short walk), selling fresh produce and everything you need, nice butcher and meat market. The local wine in plastic bottles are well worth trying. Also the wine from the owner is most welcome.

Fabulous

The property was easy to find and very clean and modern. Heleni, was most helpful and welcoming during our stay. The shower room downstairs is a little small and required mopping after showering - though only a slight minus, But nothing really stopped us enjoying the wonderful Villa Regina. Every little detail was accounted for. Mosquito screens on all windows and doors were a nice touch. Laundry was very welcome. Pantry items were most welcome as were the gifts of wine. Thanks to Heleni's husband for this. Overall wouldn't miss this gem!

A beautiful place to stay

I have been to Agia Efimia on lots of occasions. Its difficult to find a villa with a pool (not that you need one as the sea is amazing). We loved the villa and the service from the owner / keeper was outstanding. Thank you so much.

Wonderfully relaxing stay in very well appointed villa in Agia Efimia.

Very well appointed villa in quiet location right on the edge of Agia Efimia. A great location to explore local area and places of interest such a the amazing beach at Myrtos, Sami, Fiskardo and the stunning cave and lake at Melissani. Agia Efimia has a large number of harbour side restaurants as well as local supermarkets, butchers and bakery. Our hostess Eleni made us very welcome with provisions on arrival and mid week delivery of fresh eggs (from her chickens) as well as local wine and biscuits. Spotlessly clean, the villa is modern and well equipped - we enjoyed many hours in and around the lovely pool in the hot sunshine. Superbly equipped and spotlessly clean villa

This was our first visit to Kefalonia and we were very fortunate to uncover this gem of a property in Agia Efimia. The villa is equipped to an extremely high standard both inside and out. The owner Eleni has thought of everything you could need to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The villa backs onto the ‘main road’ (in reality a single track road) from Myrtos to Agia Efimia and whilst there is some traffic noise through the day this should only be an issue to those with very sensitive hearing or those preferring complete silence. It is a 5-10 minute walk on the flat to the centre of the resort. It was extremely hot during our visit so the refreshing air conditioning, particularly at night was most welcome. The pool was also a welcome source of refreshment. The poolside BBQ was very well used during our stay. Agia Efimia is a lovely former fishing village with many waterborne activities to enjoy during your stay. The local butchers and bakers shops offer high quality local produce. High quality, reasonably priced restaurants are plentiful. Our only disappointment was that Greek dancing nights are only available during high season! Whilst it would be easy to base your entire stay in the village we decided to hire a car for 3 days to explore the wonderful countryside and places of interest spread around the island. The agent, owner and residents of Agia Efimia are all extremely friendly and welcoming. Lida (the agent) kindly arranged taxi transfers to and from the airport with responsible drivers at a reasonable cost. Eleni visited the villa most days often bringing gifts of eggs, tomatoes and local wine. The property and resort are highly recommended.
