Lovely quiet secluded villa

Very good, well equipped spacious villa with a traditional feel. Modern kitchen and bathroom with all you need. Large grounds containing olive trees with chickens at the bottom. Large attractive swimming pool. Handily placed for Ronda (about 10 mins away) and many Pueblos Blanco and national parks. We had really enjoyable stay and didn’t want to leave.

A perfect retreat

We had a fantastic stay at the villa and my son especially loved the pool. The villa was set up with everything we needed and the air con in all the bedrooms as well as the window shutters was great for a good night's sleep. A car is definitely needed for this location as stated in the description, but the villa is easy to access and well positioned for exploring Ronda and the wider area.

Wonderful relaxing stay

We had a lovely week at Villa Mimosa. The villa itself was clean, comfortable and with a well stocked pantry of oils, spices and other cooking essentials. The terrace and pool were fantastic and Maria Carmen was a generous host. Highly recommended

Well equipped comfortable air - conditioned house with insect screens in most rooms. Fabulous pool and amazing views. 5 minute drive to the historic town of Ronda. Carmen the host was very friendly and easy to contact and met us at the house when we arrived.

Lovely house.

The difficulty with our stay was that one of the party broke their leg in Ronda. Carmen was very helpful, supportive and on call to make our stay as pleasant as possibly. It was beautifully quiet apart from the resident woodpecker who visited each morning. It was within easy reach of Ronda with a car. Lovely! The pool was lovely and the house was fully equipped with everything needed. We can imagine coming back when the broken leg is healed!

Our stay at Villa Mimosa

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay at villa Mimosa. The villa was very private and secluded and as a family we had great times enjoying the pool. The villa is located a very short trip to good restaurants and landmarks in Ronda and Arriate. Also, well worth the approx. I hour 40 mins journey from the villa to Seville. Beautiful Villa and location!

We had a wonderful stay at a holiday villa in a tranquil location that exceeded my expectations. This charming retreat not only had a pool for relaxation but also had a delightful addition of chickens and a rabbit, which my son adored and still misses every day. One of the standout aspects of our experience was the prompt and attentive assistance we received from Carmen, the host. She was always quick to respond to any inquiries or requests we had, ensuring that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The villa itself was well-maintained, providing a peaceful and serene atmosphere for a truly relaxing getaway. The quiet location offered a much-needed break from the hustle and bustle of daily life, allowing us to fully unwind and reconnect with nature. Amazing villa in fabulous location

Fabulous villa within easy reach (5 mins drive to Ronda) as well as other places like Marbella, Olvera, Estepona, Seville etc Very well equipped - WiFi, large TV, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine Kitchen - everything you could need Bedrooms- double,twin and single, very comfortable, extra pillows and duvets available Outside - great pool, large, private not lit or heated but has steps as well as ladder in for people like me, who just like to go in shallow Garden - stunning. Very rural. Feels like being very close to nature. Almond and olive trees. Chickens at the bottom and a veg plot.gardener calls twice a week. Proper friendly and doesn’t impede on your space at all. If you want manicured park-like gardens, this isn’t for you.if you love nature,trees and flowers and want to be out of the town/city, this place is perfect. Rustic + well-maintained Air con and professionally fitted fly screens but keep the doors shut. The mosquitoes like to bite. I ignored a previous review to my peril! Loads of bits and bobs in larder like coffee, salt, herbs etc Dishwasher tabs, washing up.iqiod, bin bags etc were there when we arrived. Host is lovely, responds quickly and was really chilled about arrival and departure times as Villa was free a day or so either side. Google where to eat in Ronda and don’t just “happen upon” somewhere that looks busy. Some places wanna fleece tourists. Do your research. It’s an amazing place, make the best of it!

Had a great time on holiday in Ronda. We were contacted by our host and she invited us to arrive a bit early at the house which was great having two young kids with us! The pool was fab and the whole house was set within beautiful grounds with almond and olive trees, grape vines and fruit trees. There were even some chickens down the bottom. The west facing patio made for fantastic sunsets over the mountains. The kitchen was well equipped and the AC was a welcome addition. The only slight negative was the size of the bed and firm springs of the mattress in the master. Beyond that we had a great time and would definately stay again.

Comfortable villa with great pool and terrace area

We stayed at Villa Mimosa for a week recently and really enjoyed our holiday. The villa is in the countryside but only 5-10 minutes’ drive from Ronda. We arrived very late on the Saturday night and Carmen very kindly met us at a nearby petrol station and guided us to the property, which was a blessing as we would have struggled to find it in the dark! Carmen had also done a small shop for us, which was very helpful since the supermarkets are shut on a Sunday. We were lucky with the weather with sunshine all week and the kids (9 and 11) loved the outdoor pool which had both a shallow end with steps leading into it and a deeper end which was deep enough to jump in, so much fun was had in the pool each day - and the basketball hoop by the entrance to the property was also a nice surprise for our son and a basketball was quickly purchased! The four sun loungers were also enjoyed by both adults and kids alike and we had all our meals in the lovely patio area with its big table and view of nearby mountains. The villa has roll down shutters which kept it nice and cool in the heat and the windows have fly screens which meant the house stayed mostly free of insects, which we all appreciated. Whilst perhaps more functional than luxurious, we felt very comfortable in the villa and had one of our most relaxing holidays to date. Fun days and lovely family memories!

A Little Gem

What a lovely little villa. Set away but not too far from the hustle and bustle of busy Ronda, this villa is an absolute gem. It is very quaint and almost oldy worldy but still with all the modern day equipment you need. The pool is lovely although was a bit too cold when we visited which was a shame. Would thoroughly recommend for a family or even just a couple's holiday stay. Would definitely stay again.

Relaxing and homely

Really enjoyed our week stay here. Our favourite thing was sitting on the veranda looking at the view and the sunset. Even sitting there watching the thunder and lightning one afternoon was entertaining. There is somewhere to catch the sun all day for the sun lovers too. The whole place has a very homely feel to it and it has everything you could need. We found it very relaxing. Ronda is very easy to get to by car for eating out, shopping and sightseeing. The property was very easy to book and Maria Carmen was helpful and quick to respond to our emails. Would definitely like to stay again one day.

Idyllic

We had a wonderful two weeks relaxation. The house is very comfortable, well equipped and has the most stunning views, a real home from home. It is rural so a car is necessary but it only takes 10 minutes to get into the stunning town of Ronda (you will need several days visiting here to see it all). You do have neighbours but the pool and terrace area are very private this means that you are not isolated but you do have privacy. Other places we recommend you visit nearby are Cueva del Gato (cats cave) and Acinipo the old original town that Ronda was based on which is about 20 km's away from the modern Ronda and has a fantastic amphitheatre and Roman ruins. Estancia perfecta

Estuvimos la semana del 22 al 28 de Julio y lo pasamos genial. La casa está cerca de Ronda por lo que ir y venir no se hace cansado. El entorno insuperable, lleno de naturaleza y al menos, cuando fuimos nosotros, mucha privacidad. Los atardeceres en la terraza son de ensueño y la piscina se mantiene calentita bien entrada la noche. Para poner el lazo la casa cuenta con aire acondicionado en cada estancia, menos en la cocina, pero con esos techos no hace falta. La propietaria atenta y te da la información de manera clara. Para repetir!!!

Nice house with pool

Nice house, 3 bedrooms. Good pool surrounded by a hedge. Big garden, but not really to play in. View over the mountains, if seated in certain area. In the house everything you need is there, as well in the kitchen as towels (big and more than one). The livingroom has a table (we didn't use) and 2 couches (where our teenagers made good use). Outside also a table on the covered terrace. There's also a awning which can be let down if the sun is shining onto the terrace. 5 deckchairs to lay in. The grass is not really comfortable to lie on.

Rust en een prachtig uitzicht

We hebben een prima week gehad in dit huisje. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Het zwembad is fijn (hoewel tijdens ons verblijf nog aan de koude kant). Heerlijke tuin, roofvogels op ooghoogte. Ronda wel erg toeristisch. Boodschappen doen is niet vlakbij. Maar daar krijg je rust voor terug.

Stunning view with lovely swimming pool

Very nice property on a very big plot, lots of fruit trees. 3 separate bedrooms one bathroom, with toilet. Separate kitchen with oven, microwave, laundry, coffee machine etc etc and a separate living room it feels like coming home. The children definitely had their own space. Close to Ronda about 5-10 minutes driving tot the city centre!
