Relax in a bach environment with a retro feel on the edge of Lake Taupo.
Unit provides a comfortable stay with great views of the lake and mountains.
Take the opportunity to unwind in the small sunken garden and observe the
activities of fellow holiday makers from the deck. Follow the walkway around
the lake and explore the Taupo region from this very central location. During summer hire kayaks and paddleboards across the road (weather dependent), or take in the sun while lying reading your favourite book. A great destination to unwind. Property may not be suitable for young children due to staircase to mezzanine floor.

While unit sleeps 6, it is available for a maximum of 4 people.
Off street parking available for 2 vehicles in designated clearly marked spaces

Extras: Cleaning (Required, NZ$65.00 per stay); NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to: bring your own linen (towels/sheets/tea towels); However linen can be supplied for a cost if needed.

We stayed for three nights and had a great time location of property was excellent beds comfortable kitchen excellent lounge a little old fashioned but cosy and comfortable

Lovely Lakeside Location

The location was stunning, the appartment was very clean and cosy, with comfortable beds and it was very well equiped. The host Lindsay was very helpful and accomodating. I cannot fault the accomodation or the host, truly fantastic!

Light sleeper.

When i called the owner because I hadnt received any property access details he was quite rude.The villa stairs were very creaky to a point of being woken when using the bathroom at night.The rubbish bin in the kitchen was still full on arrival.

Close to the beach

Property is in an excellent location. Close to the beach and walking distance to CBD. Clean and tidy. Bedrooms are upstairs so can be a bit warm at night. Fans are provided so that helps. Would stay there again.

Perfect Location

Great commutation made for an effortless check in. Made to feel very welcome. Super clean unit. Full kitchen made cooking a breeze with loads of appliances, well stocked cutlery etc. Taupo was an easy walk. Close to lake. Would definitely stay here again

Great location and place

Great location, had all we needed. Wifi kept dropping out so entertainment was limited at night / early morning for kids whilst getting ready for bed/the day. Also don’t leave window open at night even slightly as bathroom got covered in midges.

Cozy Lake Stay

Good location, great view of the Lake, (just across the road). Property is exactly as shown on photos. Well equipped kitchen, maybe provide a lid of some sorts for the frying pan, also an idiot's guide of how to use the Haier stove top??? Great to have access to Netflix, thank you. For a Summer stay, highly recommend bug screens or something. We had to keep windows closed and it got a bit stuffy. Overall we loved our stay and would certainly return, thanks Lindsay.

Girls Getaway

Beautiful location straight across from the lake. Lindsay responded to questions quickly and helped whenever needed. As long as you dont mind climbing stairs to go to bed i would recommend this as a place to stay. Linda

Cute and cosy

Very impressed with our stay. Even though it is very retro looking, lots of modern touches to it. It was warm with the heater going and it held the heat well. The gaps between the bannisters were a little wide and my almost 5 year old could easily sneak through them, which was a worry upstairs. Apart from that, very comfortable stay and cosy on a winters night. Great communication from the owner too.
