Beautiful beach location with stunning views

Rosemary Cottage is private quiet and peaceful. Located 30 minutes north of Wellington it is the ideal spot to to enjoy the stunning natural beauty of the Kapiti coast. It is a short walk to the lovely expansive beach and the village has many lovely cafes and restaurants as well as a great Saturday market The cottage is totally self contained and very well equipped. The deck is the perfect place for outdoor dining and barbeques. There is a wood burner which is perfect for those colder nights.

Kāpiti trip

Cozy cottage, clean and tidy, comfy beds, great view, really handy for Paraparaumu and an early start for a visit to Kāpiti island. Easy, quick communication with the owners. We had a great time. Look forward to staying again.

Convenient location

Clean comfortable well equipped cottage.Care needed accessing and departing driveway. A shuttle van and trailer is parked on carport turning area which makes it tight.The cottage smelt musty and unaired.A convenient location.

Such a lovely place to stay. You can't want for anything. Theres a lovely view of Kapiti Island. I loved staying here....until I broke my toe. Even with that, the house was easy to negotiate.I will definitely be back!

Wonderful beach house

We were finishing our 3 week trip around the North Island with a longer stay at the Rosemary Cottage! We are so glad we did this…we had a thoroughly relaxing stay! Everything you could possibly need was included at the beach Bach…so much cutlery and crockery and pots and pans if you want to cook! Beds were comfy and lounge room so cosy and warm with the combustion stove or air con..it’s up to you! Fabulous deck to look over to Kapiti Island and a lazy dinner to eat at the outdoor table! It was just soo relaxing …one of my favourite spots to end an amazing holiday in NZ! Thanks Judy for your easy communication ….everything worked out so well for us! Spacious and well appreciated cottage

Very happy with our stay in this comfortable and spacious cottage. The under cover parking is a bonus as the weather was somewhat wet. Good indoor outdoor living? Would definitely stay again if in the area.

A home away from home.

Rosemary Cottage had everything that was necessary and more. A roomy, clean and comfortable house with wonderful views of Kapiti Island as well as being just a short walk to the town centre. A perfect place to stay.

A charming cottage with every comfort one could possibly need. Super comfortable beds and lounge suite with lazy boys to ensure relaxation. Very private and quiet location. Would book again!

We felt very at home at Rosemary Cottage. It is in a lovely location where we could enjoy having breakfast and tea with a view of kapiti island. The owners and managers of the property all comunicated very well. We would love to come back again in the future

Great to have choice of heat pump or woodburner during a cold snap. Suggest the system to distribute the warmth to bedrooms is improved. Maybe during winter electric blankets would be a nice touch. Gorgeous view of Kapiti.

Excellent in everyway

We stayed for 2 nights, 4 Adults and bludy awesome. We felt safe and secure during our stay. View absolutely stunning. Warm and cosy with fire and heat pump available. 10 min easy walk but plenty free parking in town. Absolutely no problem to stay there again.
