This comfortably equipped holiday residence is in the Carvoeiro Clube on a 3000 sq.m enclosed garden property with grass areas, palm trees and colourful flowering bushes. The equipment is clearly above the holiday home standard and guarantees a high wellness factor. Lovely Portuguese equipment details with high-quality wooden furniture and some antiques make you forget that you are in a holiday home. Since 2021 with NAD/BluOS Streaming Surround Receiver and 5.1 speaker setup in the living room and a Sonos Play:1 in the kitchen for wireless music streaming.

Payment via cheque is not accepted. Payment can be done via CreditCard, Banktransfer or PayPal.

The location is very peaceful. The 50 m long palm tree entrance offers enough parking spaces for 2 vehicles. Behind the house, the landscape opens up.

The pool area invites you to sunbathe and relax. The pool can be heated (extra fee - see section prices). The covered terraces with the grill area are ideal in order to have your meals outside. The living area is divided onto one level and is spacious and expansive. Living area with sitting corner, dining table, high-speed fibre internet connection, music system and flat screen television, kitchen with microwave, dishwasher and washer, 3 bedrooms with each 2 beds, 2 bathrooms, 1 additional bed possible, pets are welcome.

Casa Corrida has very child-friendly equipment. There is crib with high-quality mattresses and fitting bedsheets, 1 high chair and a small selection of toys.

Distances from the holiday home: The distance to the beaches is about 5-15 minutes by car. The centre of Carvoeiro with shops and restaurants is only about a 10-15 minute walk away. The well-known Carvoeiro Tennis Club is a 5 minute walk away. The closest golf course is a 10 minute drive away.

Could have been better

Overall the property and location were good. However, the villa would benefit from some "routine maintenance" which would have given it 5 stars from us. When we arrived, the dishwasher didn't work. We reported it and 3 days later, they took the old one away and left us with nothing for the rest of our stay. When we used the sink to hand wash the dishes, it leaked dirty water all over the kitchen floor due to poor plumbing. One of the air conditioning units needed maintenance as it sprayed ice over our son on a daily basis. We only had one visit in 10 days to clean the pool - previous villas we have rented have had pool maintenance every 2-3 days. As it was hot, we had to top the water levels up to stop the noise of the filters. One of the sun loungers was broken and dangerous. On our last day, there was no running water so we couldn't flush the toilets or have a shower before we left for home. A great villa let down by poor maintenance. For the price charged, it should have been better

Wonderful

Such a great villa - big pool and beautiful grounds and outdoor BBQ/dining area perfect for social cooking, dining and playing cards. Inside of the villa was well laid out and maid service changing bed linen and towels was appreciated. Host was readily available to answer any queries we had. Didn’t walk into Carvoeiro as seemed a bit hilly but Ubers were only €6 euros. Walked down to the cliffs from the villa easily - such beautiful views. Nearby beaches were very pretty and we had some excellent meals out. Played golf a couple of times too. Villa is perfectly located - everything we wanted within 10 minute drive. We were pleased to have an Apolonia supermarket nearby - a bit more expensive but excellent quality produce. We definitely hope to return

The location of the house is great in a very pleasant environment. The pool is great for everyone. Children must be good swimmers. The location of the house is ideally situated to reach sights and beaches in a relatively short time. The sofa in the living room is not the most comfortable but it looks nice. I

Spectacular September

Excellent natural lighting in the main living areas. The mosquito nets on all windows are an excellent aspect as it allows ventilation. Pool and garden areas also superb. Some instructions on how to operate the TV/media centre would be great, but the owner was extremely responsive to our odd problem. The management company also respected our wish to reduce maid/cleaner visits which was very much appreciated. Overall, an excellent experience

Great family holiday.

Fantastic holiday and great villa for having some time out. Good pool but no ball games sadly as couldn’t stand up anywhere but still used everyday. Good kitchen and facilities - cooked everyday. Problem with water being off one day was annoying and a faulty kettle tripping the electrics both on days we’d planned to stay in and cook/chill but resolved very quickly and hosts responded immediately. Spacious living area great for watching films, playing games etc inside and out. AC didn’t work in one of the rooms but only found that out from my son on day of departure so not able to have it fixed whilst we were there. Great location for exploring the Algarve - we drove 50mins for surfing beaches and 10-15mins for jumping off cliff and snorkelling beaches. Lots of nice cafes and eateries in carvoeiro to choose from we went to Taste and a pizzeria both were perfect but having a bbq in the evening by the pool in the evening at the villa was pretty hard to beat. Thank you!!! Would definitely recommend.

Lovely spacious, and very well appointed property, with a gorgeous garden to lounge in. Perfect for visiting both the local beaches and walls in the mountains. Very well cared for by the housekeeping and gardening services. Thoroughly recommend.

Best Family Holiday

The villa was excellent in so many ways and a lot of thought has been given by the owner to what visitors enjoy. It is a very attractive villa set in a lovely private location with a mature, well kept garden. It is equipped to a very high standard throughout and kept clean by the daily maid service and twice weekly gardening and pool cleaning service. We visited with our son, daughter-in-law and two small grandsons. Toys were provided both inside and in the pool, providing great pleasure to both of the grandchildren and even the adults! I would recommend having the pool heated. We did and the small children were able to use it for long periods without being too cold. The outside oven and dining area proved popular with everyone and we cooked and ate outside on several evenings. One small point, the directions could possibly be improved as our taxi driver had difficulty finding it on the evening we arrived. He said a GPS Lat/Long would have helped. A call to the management office soon resolved the problem. We rented a car from a local company recommended by the management company. It was delivered to the villa the morning after we arrived which saved having to deal with it at the airport with two tired children! We consider this one of the nicest villas we have rented. The owner couldn’t have been more helpful and answered email queries straight away. It was definitely one of our nicest family Holidays!

A lovely spacious villa with fabulous outside space all very clean and well equipped.

This a very relaxing place to stay, with so many areas to sit inside and out. Plenty of sun loungers pool floats and 2 great shaded eating / sitting areas. The a lovely pool area and outside bbq. Everything is well looked after with pool cleaning and gardening and a very helpful cleaner coming in every week day. The villa was spotless when we arrived and kept that way throughout our week by Adelia. Would definitely book again if we come back to the area

Fantastic week in the beautiful Algarve

The villa is everything the other reviewers have said, and more, and the photographs don't do it justice. The whole experience of booking through HomeAway was excellent, Nicolai the owner was extremely helpful in all correspondence and the villa is stunning and with everything you could need for a perfect break, including wifi throughout and inflatables etc for the pool, which was refreshingly cool even in the July sun. The only thing lacking was a few more English channels on the TV, although we hardly had time to watch it anyway. The villa is only a 2 minute walk from the tennis club, which is very nice and has an eat-all-you-can buffet every Tuesday for only 12 Euros and 50 cents each (but you need to book by the Sunday before). There are lots of good eating places in Carvoeiro which is a 5 minute drive away or a 20 minute walk - we drove down at night, got a taxi back for between 5 and 8 Euros and walked back down in the morning to pick the car up. For sightseeing I can thoroughly recommend the boat tour of the sea caves, which go from Carvoeiro beach, as well as the dolphin watching tours that go from nearby Ferragudo. The sand sculptures at the Fiesa exhibition are incredible and well worth a visit. To summarise - a fantastic villa in an excellent location in a beautiful country - what more could you want?!

Wonderful.

This villa surpassed all our expectations, it was beautiful, bright and spacious, my immediate reaction was that I would return, I was so impressed with the place. The furnishings are lovely, there's an abundance of crockery etc and every conceivable utensil is available.. The outside seating areas /BBQ were fantastic and the sun shone on the pool for 12 hrs each day. The only thing that didn't suit our party was the depth of the pool....it was too deep for even the adults to stand in which is great for swimming but not so good for holding up kids learning to swim. The gardens are beautiful, and provide so much space and privacy in such a peaceful location.

Beautiful villa with everything we needed!

We have just come back from a weeks holiday in this villa. Upon arrival the villa was spotlessly clean and welcoming. We arrived late at night so had arranged a food parcel which was really useful. The villa is fully equipped with everything you need for day to day living and cooking. The washing machine and dishwasher was great. Lots of towels and basic supplies too like toilet rolls and washing powder. We found a car was essential for us as the nearest shops for food are a good 20-25 minute walk away up and down some steep hills. The pool villa was kept clean by a pool person that visited twice during the week. A maid visited to clean each day and whilst at first we felt we might find this a little intrusive, she was friendly, discrete and didn't stay long and it was lovely to have the bathrooms freshened each day and rubbish removed. The pool is one depth throughout which is appox. 1.8m deep so little ones need to be watched carefully. The garden at the villa is beautifully kept and huge! There are grass areas and the pool area is lovely with lots of loungers and areas to sit and relax outdoors. We were happy to get away from TV but it should be noted that the only English speaking tv chanel was Sky news. There was however a radio and cd player. The beds were comfortable enough and lots of wardrobe space. We had 3 children with us and they all shared the 3rd bedroom. The youngest slept on a smaller bed which wouldn't be comfortable for a bigger child but was just okay for him (he is 10years old). The villa is completely secluded, not overlooked at all and the area is really peaceful which was lovely. There are some nice restaurants near the reception area and a great English cafe called Tiffany's which we would really recommend. The main beach is only 5 minutes from the reception area too. A really lovely villa which I would recommend to others. Thank you to the owners for sharing this beautiful home with us.

Wonderful place to stay and relax

The property is separated from the neighbors, so you can move completely freely and carefree. The house is large, well cut and offers everything you need. The kitchen is well equipped and sufficiently large. We had a very pleasant time and would always come back. What is also to be read in the brochure in the accommodation but before as info would have been nice is that workers for garden and pool suddenly appear unannounced and do their work. Yes, this must also be done but so completely unannounced we were a bit scared when suddenly people came to the property. But all in all it was a very nice stay. Thank you.

Wonderful days in an incredible place

Both the house and the surrounding area exceeded our expectations. The house is located in an incredibly quiet, beautiful place and very close to the centre of Carvoeiro. There are several beaches nearby (10 m by car). The owner was from the first contact very attentive, and always available to provide all necessary clarification. Great Experience!

Waw!

Wat een heerlijk verblijf hebben we gehad in de villa van Nicolai. Alles was aanwezig, supermooi en net. We hebben genoten van de rust en de grote tuin. De kinderen vonden het heerlijk zwemmen in het verwarmde zwembad.
